Took my truck in for 2 main issues. The brakes were feeling like the rotors might be warped and the truck was idling bad. They had it for two days and said they replaced the brakes and changed the spark plugs and wires. I drive the truck and brakes were the same and the truck still idled bad and even died while idling. Took it back today and they claim it was idling good and said the rotors were warped. Checked my old receipts and I had changed plugs in wires 20k miles ago. So over $1k down and neither problem was solved. This place used to be good but has gone way downhill.

I appreciate how quickly Casey got my 82' F-150 into his busy shop and his mechanic Johnny got her back in shape for daily use. I'm old school and this old school garage fits me just right.

Casey is a gentleman! I went to have a pre purchase inspection on a used vehicle. Even though he was busy, he found time to do a quick all around check up of the vehicle and didn t even charge me a dime! I would visit him again if I have any repair needs while I m in this area.

Excellent work by the team who repaired my worn out spark hold. They drilled it out , inserted a helicoil in it and installed a new plug. 2 days completed earlier than I thought it would. The engine runs smoothly and we can't be happier. All for a very reasonable price too. 5 STAR SERVICE. Mark, Peggie and Mariah Smith. Next month I'm bringing in another with the same problem!

I have used Max's in the past and I am using them now to fix my f350. They have also worked on several of my family's vehicles with good luck. They have good prices and seem to be understanding and far. Bets all-around experience.

From my experiences with Max's, I know that when my '94 Chevy pickup' had a, or the only belt that engine has, broke , it took less than an hour to have it picked up and delivered to Max's.It was seen to extremely fast. I am very glad they are also a NAPA parts supplier. That means quality parts as well as a greater access to almost any vehicle parts needed. The technicians do very thorough diagnostics and repair and I was very pleased with the service.

I've been to Max's twice in the last three weeks, and both times they were great. They replaced my front struts and my radiator; both services were fairly priced and completed within the time frame they specified. My radiator cracked unexpectedly and I was extremely grateful that they were able to replace it on the same day I brought it in. I will definitely go back for any further work I need in the future!

Max's has always worked on all of my cars as long as I have been here. 20+ years. I brought a car in that I was considering buying. They came out to do a quick assessment on it & helped me greatly. They have been a top notch garage & business. Maxey has always been straight & up front concerning all repairs &worked with me when I had to take more time to pay a bill.

The Lady of the office, Amanda or April, was wonderful. She was very helpful and their prices are reasonable. Didn't actually get any work done. My husband and I have been trying to do this ourselves, haha, what a joke this has cost us. We have spent well over 3700.00 just in the past month. So, if I were you people, I'd go check Max's out; ask for Amanda or April, and tell her Tammy and CJ Settlemoir sent y�

Number one mechanic shop in my book he gets things in and out as long as they aren't backed up with work and does an awesome job and very professional. If I could give them 10 stars I would keep up the great service yall provide for the city of abilene

This automotive shop is the best place I've ever been to Kasey helped get my car in the shop and out the next day and it wasnt an easy job replacing what I needed I recommend them to everyone his dad is the sweetest person ever!! If you need good service and want to know you're being taken care of and your car is in the best hands go here. Their prices are amazing best price in town!!!

my truck a 1998 ford ranger was in need of transmission work. Max gave me a quote and said that it would take 2 1/2 working days to completethe work. I was charged what I thought was a fair price and true to his word I had my truck back in that amount time. Max & his crew are the best in Abilene. I would'n go anywhere else for automotive work.

Max is a serious automotive place that has a good reputation from other automotive garages (like Danny's). Their prices are not cheap nor exorbitant. An inexpensive fix is unlikely; a semi expensive fix done with high standards is what you will receive.

My son uses this garage and he's a car guy so he knows about the work that needs to be done and what doesn't. They have been honest about the repairs that were needed on my car and made the arrangements with the Dodge house to get the rest of the work done that was under warranty.

This shop has very knowledgeable owners & employees about a variety of vehicles old & new. The prices for repair are also reasonable and it has been my experience the diagnosis of a problem can be trusted.
