I was referred to Ellis Automotive by a family member who had been going there for years. I brought my Ford Edge in with only a one day notice and dropped it off. They were able to confirm that there was not an issue with what I originally thought that there might be. They inspected my car per my request and fixed one minor issue. I was very impressed with Russell's professionalism and service. Ellis Automotive will definitely be my go-to for my auto repairs.

Earlier today, I went to inquire about a brake service. I proceed to show the employee a quote I had received from another company so he can see what I needed. I understand that a inspection needs to be made however, when I asked for prices for the services I was told that he needed to call around to see what it would be after the inspection. That s the first that I ever heard of someone needing to call around to get a list of prices for services when it should be already be available to a potential customer. I perceived it as maybe he didn t want to help. I just said thank you and left. I will definitely not return.

Ellis is the only place I will take my vehicles. Honest, dependable, will give you options and suggethat don't always benefit them. Love it all then way around. Small town family.

Had Ellis do several jobs including work on transmission, air-conditioning and panel cluster. Ellis himself is a nice guy but I feel his younger mechanics are either misleading, lacking knowledge of the specifics or dont really care and are just there for the check. Every time I went there and went with the advice of the mechanic, I had to repeatedly take my truck back for more work and at $80 an hour it gets pretty expensive, especially when the job isnt done correctly. Example, I needed a new gas tank so took it to Ellis to have a used one put on. I had recently had a new fuel pump put on before this. The mechanic put the used gas tank on and instead of putting my new fuel pump on with it, put the used one that came with the gas tank causing me to pay another $700 when the pump went out several months later. I could go on but in summary I feel if Im going to pay top dollar for a job, I shouldnt have to take my vehicle back 3-4 times afterward, and get charged each time $80 and hour for a job that shouldve been done right the first time.
