We bought our latest truck here. So far we are pleased. Tommy and John (the owner) was so friendly and honest. Easy to do business with. They were very upfront. Lot inventory is very nice. Vehicles are well maintained. Staff is knowledgeable and eager to trade.

I have purchased multiple vehicles from Payless auto over the past couple years. My salesman is Tommy and he does a terrific job and helping to identify the needs we have while working with us in respect to our budget. The experience has been excellent where they re not pushy but focused on how to meet your needs with the right vehicle in a fair and equitable way. After purchasing one of my vehicles there was a couple of issues and they were quick to address every issue and make sure that it was done right and that my experience was a positive one. That is an absolute reflection of good strong integrity and doing the right thing by their customers. I highly recommend anyone looking for The right vehicle for your family without being taken advantage of, you really need to look at Payless Auto. Traded in my Ford Fusion for the Ford Escape I have had my eye on for a while! This is my second car from Payless Auto and I don t think I will ever go anywhere else! I highly recommend Tyler! Do NOT BUY here. We bought a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 truck the day before Thanksgiving 2021. First it took them three months to let me know about our tags that came in and was supposed to be transferred over. We ended up having to go back to dealership to pick up because they never mailed them out after they asked us if we wanted them to. 3 months after we bought the truck the starter went out. The heater converter value was has a big hole in it. We notices when the heat was not working correctly. We didn't realize it but the head gasket was going out too. Finally in December of 2022 it blew and now has destroyed the engine. I didn't want to take it to their service department because I do not really trust the dealership after everything we found wrong with it. So I had a friend that used to be a mechanic try to fix it but my warranty did not cover him fixing it. So I had no choice but to take it to the service department. When I called Payless about it all they were very happy to tell me to take it to their service department. Finally got the truck to their service department end of June 2023. Tommy told me he would diagnose it and turn into warranty and then it would be about three weeks to complete it. Now it is August, they haven't even looked at the vehicle to diagnose and it has been sitting with them for three weeks. I called Tommy yesterday and he turned around and said, "As I told you it would be 6 to 8 weeks." I told him that the statement was not true and he said he would look at it, diagnose it, send it in to warranty, and then it would be around 3 weeks. Payless Auto sales the vehicle, gives you the warranty for "free" and then leaves it up for service department to use your warranty to correct the problems that they should of corrected in the first place. My vehicle should not be sitting there for three weeks and not even been diagnosed yet. On top of it all, Tommy is rude or rushing you off the phone. Very unprofessional. Once it is fixed it will be about a year that we have not been able to drive the vehicle and still have to make the payments and pay the insurance for it. I know I didn't get the vehicle to the Service department for 6 months only because I didn't trust them and this gives me good reason why I didn't want to have to take it to them.

This is not a buy here pay here . It was raining today as we pulled up to the door on it reads please use side door then as we pulled to that door they there at the door waiting on us. They are very nice and helpful. Very roomie very clean.

I filled out a credit application 3 days ago. And requested a phone call with the guy I spoke to that day. I haven t had any contact from anyone at this time! A man named Tyler called and apologized to me after seeing my review. I really appreciate the call! He sounded sincere and concerned about me not being contacted. So I will adjust my rating for now.

UPDATE - as of 04/15/23. They told me a sensor light was on and it was an easy $300 fix. We said that was fine we would get it fixed for $300 off the bill. We have now been to the mechanic FOUR times and my engine light remains still on . I have had this vehicle less than a month . Called and asked about it , basically got told sorry as is . MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR RESEARCH before you buy. You can t trust this car lot . They are selling messed up cars .Tyler was amazing. He helped me and my husband find the perfect car and was willing to help us with our budget . Definitely recommend

I was looking for a vehicle for the first time and didn't really have any luck until I came here. They had several options on vehicles on there lot and all looked in pretty good conditions. After looking around and thinking for a while, I picked one and bought it. It runs great and and I got great service. So if you want a vehicle, I would recommend coming here and asking for a guy named Tyler Wright. He was very kind and very helpful since this was the first time buying a car. He actually talked to me like a helpful friend. So thank you to Tyler and thank you to Payless Auto

I just recently bought a car after mine was totaled and Tyler made it such an easy process. They didn t have a car available immediately due to how the market has been, but as soon as they got one in they called me to come in and I drove it home that day! I was able to purchase a one owner car under 100k miles WITH a warranty that s good for 5 years! The price and service was unbeatable compared to other car dealerships. I highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Got a great deal on a 21 Nissan Altima. The dealer, Tyler, got me a low interest rate, premier warranty that'll basically last the life of the loan, and low monthly payments. Great service, quick service and I didn't spend all day waiting for answers.

Beware!!!!! DO NOT BUY. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!They are the epitome of the description of greasy used car salesman.! Taking advantage of people as much as they can. I honestly couldn t be more discouraged or more heartbroken over this place. Tyler Wright sold us a lemon and unfortunately Tennessee won t allow us to do much about it! We paid full price $10,000 in cash and traded in our perfectly good Honda for 4000 that s $14,000 we are completely in utterly out of! But you know that money went into their pocket happily. We have come to them after only having our van for under six months and the transmission has gone, we had multiple problems leading up to this point with it It was in an out of their garage almost just a month after purchasing it and nothing was fixed and eventually the car just blew up in less than six months! We contacted them with their empty promises of helping us and here it is another six months and they have done absolutely nothing with always an excuse that they haven t had any inventory! We are not a rich family and unfortunately we have now been stuck without any car, we are as active foster parents with sometimes 5+ children. We have not been able to be foster due to this lack of car situation at the moment and it s just so discouraging! How can people be so heartless and so evil, so greedy!!!and not even care. John the owner literally told my husband and I tough luck we can either trade the van in with a minimum payment on another car of 200+ monthly or he would consider looking at the bill if we were to get the transmission fixed but only pay partial. Never again will I ever buy from another used car lot I have never experienced such slimy greasy people. So disappointed in this society . I have held off on posting this for so long because I held out hope. But now I can see that I was just na�ve I guess we are out $14,000 in a car hopefully we will be able to figure this out as a family

I had the pleasure of working with Tyler. Outstanding communication from beginning to the end. I laid out what I was looking for, as well as what I was wanting to spend and I have to say he was so patient working with me. He crunched and recrunched the numbers and we narrowed it down to a few on the lot that would fit my needs. I swear this was the easiest in and out buying process I've ever been through. What I really enjoyed about working with Tyler and this company was nothing was rushed or pushed. It wasn't about a sale! It was about making me happy and getting me into something I wanted and felt great driving. If you're looking for a place to go and feel like you're a person and not a number this is exactly where you need to go. I'm so excited and I hope to purchase more vehicles in the future.

We got a vehicle from payless auto in November. Every week there was a new problem with the paperwork. We were threatened weekly that the car would be taken back even though our payments were current. On January 27th we received a call from Tyler stating that the finance company had over extended themselves and wanted the car back and we had 2 days to return it. We called the finance company and was advised that they did not ask for the car back Payless Auto did. We have been unsuccessful getting any paperwork or documentation from Payless to show what the real issue is. This has cost us time off work, cost of a rental car until we could get something else and a hospital stay. My wife has stress induced seizures and suffered 5 seizures and had to be hospitalized. I do not recommend Payless Auto to anyone.

I am so glad that I found a car lot that has went above and beyond to help me and my husband find the right vehicle. We let them know what we were looking for something within our budget that met our needs. Tyler at Payless Auto was very helpful and put forth the effort to get us what we wanted/needed. Tyler at Payless Auto helped me out tremendously!!! I upgraded my 2018 jeep renegade to a 2021 jeep cherokee, and he helped me get the payments as close as possible to me original payments. He came in on his day off to help me get this car!!! Thank you Tyler for being the man and helping me get into an upgrade!!!
