Our Room was clean, comfortable and quiet.Could use a bigger coffee maker though so take your own or buy one at the Dollar General just up the road.Service is exemplary and very polite.Breakfast is pretty good. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles.Coffee, apple juice and orange juice, and cereal.Rooms: Room was very clean and comfortable and fit our needs. Great price compared to others in the vicinity.Could use a bigger coffee maker though lol.

My experience at this hotel was excellent. The rooms are not high-end, but they are very well equipped with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and decent personal items (soaps, shampoo, etc.) The room/bathroom were very clean and the sheets and towels were clean and fresh. The staff at this location were all friendly and welcoming. For the price I paid, I feel this was a very good value. Location is good to Cades Cove and many trails in the area. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others.

UPDATE: HORRIBLE NEVER STAY HERE!!!! Kanis was super helpful and sweet. Super excited for the breakfast will update later but they have Folgers and hazelnut creamer so I'm beyond sold already!!!!I was wrong! The rest of the staff was absolutely horrible. The housekeeper just came in our room shoving her way in. When I told her I still had a couple of loads to bring down she said ok fine I'll give up my time for your time. Then sent every other staff member up to tell us to leave. We ended up not leaving until 11,:30 because we had to keep opening the door and telling the staff we were trying. Then when we checked out they were vacuuming and completely ignored me! To top it all off I got a $60 extra charge that no one told me about. I'm assuming it's because of the late checkout but they didn't say anything about it and had me in tears from their forceful demeanors. The coffee was good but DO NOT STAY HERE!!!Noteworthy details: Folgers and hazelnut creamer!!!! And jacuzzi room!

We stayed mid-march 2024 - in room #206 - unfortunately I had to wake up my little one in the middle of the night because I noticed a bunch of bugs in the bed with me. It was surreal and very disturbing.Thankfully the night staff was able to move me into a different room (I didn't notice bugs in the new room) but the damage was already done. I was unable to get a good nights sleep and the next morning everyone was groggy and tired due to having to move in the middle of the night.I do want to mention one thing, management was very responsive and helpful. Although the room with the bedbugs was very disappointing they did move me quickly and tried to make it right.

We re staying here for the 3rd night in a row. We ve been woken up by loud guests around midnight all 3 nights. Tonight we ve been awoken by the loud smell of weed. The manager refused to move us. We ve stayed here many times before, but will definitely find a new place to stay from now on. The air condition unit also kept us up all night because of the loud squeaking noise it would make the first ten minutes it came on. We finally had to turn it off.

Great price! Great location(very near entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain Entrance. Cades Cove just a very few miles away. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was amazing.Only complaint I had was the website not showing a King bed room available. Upon arrival, clerk said in fact there were King s available. She said she would have to cancel my current reservation and with it being past check-in time, she could not. To top it off, she says there were six others who had shared there being no Kings available online. If you ve got something available to better accommodate a larger guest, oblige the customer.Rooms: A little "dated" furnishings but EXTREMELY CLEAN!!Nearby activities: Cades Cove entrance within 5 milesFood & drinks: Breakfast had an extended choices

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. They should be shut down immediately by the health department! We were stuck from road closures due to the ice storm from our original cabin and needed somewhere quick to stay for the night. First, we arrived at midnight after battling ice and dangerous road conditions and was charged $140 for half a night stay. The lady at the front desk was rude and no help at all with any questions we had. Then we get to our rooms and notice COCKROACHES crawling all over the bathroom. We were so tempted to sleep in our car at this point but we were so exhausted from the night we decided to close off the bathroom and get a quick shut eye. We had one tiny blanket and when we called asking for more since we had large groups, we were told they didn t have any extra to give us. Here comes the fun part, when we were checking out at 8:50am we told the front desk employees about the cockroach issues and they argued with us that they just sprayed and basically said we were lying. My sister had pics in her room (two doors away, same floor) of them so the manager offered her a full refund but because I did not get pics they started becoming aggressive with me and saying they were not going to offer any accommodation to me. I offered for them to come to the room and allow me to show them but they said no they are not going outside . The man started raising his hand to me as a motion to get out and was telling me to leave. I never raised my voice and tried to insist on them to listen to me but they were telling me to get out and were so rude. I don t believe I have ever been treated this way by what is supposed to be a hotel staff. This place is a pig stye with no management skills at all and the rudest employees! Please do NOT stay here! Save yourself this horrible experience and stay elsewhere!

Service was great, very friendly staff. Rooms were ok, but it was strange having hard floors instead of carpet. Made it cold for the kids feet. Also the heater is loud and sounds like a truck hitting the exaughst brake every 15 minutes or so. Good place for the money though. Nothing around town for food that will deliver, so eat before you come to hotel. Breakfast is good as well.

The property was decent but the man at the check in was very rude, I came to the property with my spouse, my service dog and our family dog and when telling the man at the desk I had a dog and a service dog he continued to ask for paperwork for my service dog which by ADA laws there is no service dog paperwork. When I tried to explain this to the man he told me to go do my research the man was very rude and even rolled his eyes when I tried to explain anything about my service animal, very unprofessional.

Room was clean enough for a one night stay and location was good. However the lady working was not very welcoming or helpful. We checked in on a Saturday hoping to catch a few football games, however the small TV had multiple main channels missing. Guide had listed all main channels so I asked for help. The woman working could not have cared less. She didn t even attempt to help solve the problem. We never felt welcomed here. Won t be back.

I never leave reviews, but this was a complete joke After paying $460 for 2 nights, we automatically assumed we would be staying in a nice room. We basically paid Hilton prices for a motel. We originally were supposed to have a King room but they moved my husband and me to a queen room because we had a dog that was not allowed in that particular room. Upon arrival, our light switch at the entry of our room turned nothing on. It was pitch black and we were scrambling around in the dark trying to figure out how to turn on lamps. Come to find out, the light bulb in the entryway was blown. We picked up the phone to call the front desk but it did not work. We walked back to the front office, someone came back to replace the bulb, but replaced it with what had the appearance of a nightlight did not illuminate hardly at all. It has been flickering since replaced. They also attempted to fix the phone, but ended up telling us just to use it on speaker phone since that seemed to work. Really bummed because this was supposed to be our last little getaway before our baby arrives. Had all the other hotels not been sold out, we would have moved hotels at midnight Will not be staying here again and will not recommend to anyone. Just stay in Pigeon Forge and make the drive. You ll thank me later.

When we first walked into the room it looked pretty good. Then we turned the lights on. There was a mystery wet spot on the floor, we saw a roach run across the floor and another run up the wall. We decided to stay because it was very late when we got there. As I was checking for any other kinds of bugs I found tons of spider webs and dust all around the head board. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. It was also $200 for a night so I don't feel we got what we paid for.Rooms: Have roaches

The location is nice. Townsend is a beautiful town. However, this hotel is not at it's best. The matress cover and matress is covered in multiple stains. When we unzipped it there was obvious signs of bed bugs. There was 2 other type bugs crawling in the bathroom. I showed the front desk and was told it was impossible because they deep cleaned everything. She said she wasnt authorized to give a refund. We left regardless. No amount is worth taking these things home. I tried calling for 2 days to speak to a manager who just happened to leave the building every time I called. Then minutes after the front desk lady called me back and said she spoke with the manager and no refund. BW customer relations listened to my concern but cannot do anything in regards to the bed bug situation or a refund. I hope to save someone the hassle of this place. They are your typical people who will steal and lie to get your money.UPDATE: After this message from the owner I replied if he could call and speak with me so we could talk the issues over. He called and very rude. Yelled over the phone and told me I was not to open the matress cover. That me doing that caused the problem. I said I always check matresses. He said "NO YOU NEVER EVER DO THAT. AND LISTEN TO ME.....YOU DONT WANT TO START WITH ME. DO YOU HEAR ME?" And then mumbling/threatening me that they had my info.Save your time and money and go elsewhere. The BWs is Pigeon Forge are great!

We just stayed at this hotel for a local car show. We selected this hotel because they are pet friendly for pets under 80lbs. The one thing that is not mentioned on their website or by the lady I made the reservations with is the pet cannot be left alone in the room at anytime. I f I had been told this I would never had booked. I was informed upon arrival. We always take a dog create and bark limiter with us. We only leave our pet in the room when going out to eat. It really ruined our trip. They also charged my credit card for the stay 10 hrs before arriving when I asked the lady not to because I would be paying cash. She told me she did not do that but my card is set up to text me when charges are made. Parking is minimal at best especially if you have a big truck with a trailer. The breakfast is not fit for my dog. I met many unhappy customers during my stay. During my stay three groups of people arrived only find out their reservations where canceled on some of the rooms for their group. They told them their credit card didn't clear when they told them they would be paying cash like me. Rates go up based on occupancy and some hotels will cancel reservations to get a higher rate. The rooms where clean with a comfortable bed. The TV was small with limited channel selection. They never changed the sheets during my five day stay even after I requested them to do so. I am a very responsible pet owner and I do understand some are not but think they should be upfront about their polices. All the hotels I have stayed in don't charge your card until you check out

We found the hotel to be older but redone not too long ago. Room was clean. Bedding and towels looked new. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. Took a while for the fridge to get cold once we turned it on. Hairdryer worked but needed to be replaced. We didn t use room service. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, better on the weekend then during the week. Needs more seating in the breakfast area. Did not like that the front desk was not staffed between 11pm - 7am. It s two story and there is no elevator. The pool was not open. Hadn t even been uncovered. We were never informed of this at any time when booking or checking in. Didn t really matter to us but would ve been mad if we had kids. Ice machine on 1st floor was out of order. Vending machine on 2nd floor was empty and unplugged. Enjoyed staying in Townsend. A lot quieter and less traffic. Would we stay here again? Probably but may try a different place next trip.

Had one of the best hotel experiences I've had here. Keep in mind, this is not a luxury or fancy hotel, but our room was immaculate. It looked as though it had been recently renovated and everything was clean. We were even upgraded to a suite which was a wonderful surprise. The desk clerk was great. Extremely nice and helpful. In the morning we had a minor problem with the shower. Same person at the desk immediately sent someone to check. Turns out the valve had just been turned off too tight. I didn't want to force it and break it, but it turned out to be working fine. The breakfast is extremely good. Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Waffle maker, grits, oatmeal, and more. Juice and coffee were good. I couldn't ask for a better stay.

This hotel was amazing from start to finish. Check in was easy, we requested 1st floor, they said,'no problem'. The room was updated beautifully. It was SPOTLESS, so clean that it looked like a "show room" or model home for tires. I am not exaggerating, this place was great. The breakfast (7am) served eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, muffins, danishes, 3 juices, milk, almond milk, yogurt, Total Raisin bran, bananas, apples, and oranges... And more. All fresh, hot, all beautifully displayed, and delicious. The staff was kind and considerate, and eager to help with whatever we needed. Beds were comfy and pristine. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful weekend.

I don t know why this hotel got a 3.8 star. This deserves a 5. I loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are really nice , spacious and clean. The bathrooms are nice too with an extra wash basin. The exterior of the hotel is very beautiful. It is bang opposite a great restaurant Steak and Trout. The hotel staff is very courteous and accommodating. The breakfast they served in the morning was excellent. We all loved it. The pool was under renovation so that was just one thing that we could not use.Nearby activities: Cade cove and clingman s dome both are close by.Safety: Safety was never a concernWalkability: You can walk to the restaurant right opposite for dinner just across the street .Noteworthy details: Just 10 mins from Smoky Mountains Cade cove loop road.

The only good thing that I can say about this hotel is that the breakfast was ok. Other than that, we had a horrible experience staying there. The a/c in our room didn't work properly making the room so humid that the sheets felt wet. Bathroom floor was nasty in the corners with hair and dirt, lots of millipedes, and mildew around the bathtub. Ice machine on the first floor didn't work properly and when I asked about not having ice, I was given a mini lecture on "it's the fault of the people pushing the lever trying to get ice that makes the ice machine not work". Staff was very rude, argumentive, and uncaring. We weren't the only guests that had complaints as I found out by talking to others. Upon check out I wasn't asked if my stay was pleasant, nor did I even get a " thank you" for staying there. Corporate will hear from me. The only reason I gave it one star was because it would not let me post zero stars.
