For convenience in Tellico it gets all stars. For inventory range and availability it gets four stars. It also gets low marks for prices. It's not their fault, and they can't ever compete price wise with the big outlets, but sometimes their prices are ballooned.

The staff at Yates is very awesome. One of the lady's there help me for a hour and a half today to help me find just what I needed.

Parking is a bit of a trick to navigate as there are other businesses. Yates is the only hardware store in Tellico Plains so prices are a bit higher than stores further away. On a better note, they pretty much have a little of everything from lumber to appliances, doors to air filters, plumbing and paint, and nails and screws. I love this store.

This store gem of our community. JR went above and beyond to help me find all the parts I needed to fix my busted pipes from arctic blast 2022. I also got a recommendation for a great plumber. Y'all have a happy customer who will definitely be back.

Yates Home store is a family owned and operated hardware, lumber, appliances, and much more. They are friendly to customers and offer some great deals.

The staff was very helpful, polite and knowledgeable. They helped me find everything I needed to do my projects and were very fairly priced.

I love Yates it s a cool little hardware store way out here in the middle of nowhere, where I live. It s a two minute drive from my house so when I notice their prices may be a bit higher than other hardware stores I quickly remind myself that paying for convenience is a real thing. Everyone who works there is always kind.

I've lived in Tellico Plains all my life and Yates Home Store has always been a part of the community and has supplied building material ,appliances, and hardware at a great price. Family owned and staffed its a great store to deal with. Highly recommend buying for them!

Family owned hardware store, if they don't have it, they will get it! Very helpful with great attitude, it is actually fun to shop there. Especially once they get to know you on a personal level.

Grossly over priced on almost all items. Horrible customer service. Such an un-Christian attitude toward locals in their hiring process too. I recommend everyone avoid this place. Try Sloan hardware in Madisonville.

It's nice to have a place to go close to home to get hardware and farm products. Family run, with friendly professional staff. Plus they make keys, and do a very good job at getting them right!

Fast and had what I needed to get me on the road. My waterpump went out so I had to put a new one on. Quality of waterpump and belts was great. Now the thermostat was a different story. After getting everything done and went my first test my truck got hot. I pulled the thermostat out and boiled it to see what temperature it open and that was 205� on a truck with a all aluminum motor that's not good its bad. So went back and got 2nd new it opened up at 202� so I Findley one to open 195� took 3 times. Its not the store but who built it. So if you have to put a new thermostat in your vehicle make sure you boil it to make sure it opens up at 195�.

When you walk in straight to looking at weedeaters...and nobody can get up off the barstool to convince you to by a "redmax"...then you go up the road to Tylers and by a stihl. Price the same, sales is the game
