Elite is by far the worst shop in tn!!!!Started off ok but took a turn for the worse. I took my Audi r8 to them to have work done and twin turbos put on and meet with the guys and they talk a big game but I learned really fast that I should have not took my car there!!! The owner Sean told me he would put the kit on that him and Marcel said would fit my car on for 4 to 5k. And the first day started off to the point that they could not even get the wing off my car for 8 hours and the next day they pulled the motor and this is where it becomes a joke. They let the Motor hang in the air on a cherry picker for 3weeks till I lost my cool with the service manger! Then I went by and stood there so he would work on my car. Then they told me it would be a few days and I would have it back. Well another month goes by and they have not done anything else so I sent a message with service manger, Marcel and Sean and then a few days later he responded. And then another week went by and he after starting my car he told me he didn t want to do the work and just keep dragging it out. The service manager seem to push to get the car done and then Sean took his title away from him because he was trying to help me. And then another month went by and I told them I was coming to get my car so they took the whole under carage off my car and the wheels and drive shafts out of it too so I could not pick it up . So know it took 2 more week to get them to put the car half back together so I could pick it up with a role back and these lying people charged me 15k for half way doing the work on my car. And the other shop I took it too has found a broken water bottle, 3 vacuums lines under the intake not hooked up and 4 around the motor not hooked up and they put a bad throw out bearing on the clutch they put it the car. And I told them if it needed one to put one in. and we found 3 broke wires in the engine harness and we found the the alternator wires were not tightened up and the told me they put ac refrigerate in the car witch was a lie, there were other thing like body grounds and it had 3 oil leaked from them taking the motor out, the paint on the intakes are scratched all to hell and so are the valve covers and the paint around the engine compartment, the wiper blades were not on the car when I picked it up and they lost the bolts and they took out one of the dash bolts and lost it too, and they told me they could tune the car for the turbos they put on. They lied!!! There are other things they messed up on my car like scratching the paint and poking a hole in the leather seat and letting it ran in the passenger side window (for the 4 months they had my car) from a roof leak of the shop roof and they would not hook a power prob up to the window and roll it up. So I would never take a car to these people again in my life. And anything I told to Marcel is just blamed on my. Like I m the one that worked there and he say he has no control over his employees. This place is a joke!!! You have been warned!!!

The best towing company in the area. Tonight, in terrible icy conditions, Elite came to tow my car out of a ditch. They were prompt, kind, and so professional. They did an excellent job even in the ice and snow. And when insurance was difficult to deal with and kept dropping calls, they were super patient and even offered to share snacks and drinks with me while we waited. Went above and beyond the whole time. 10/10 recommend.

These people are extremely untrustworthy compulsive liars. I just got my car back after 5 weeks, two attempts to fix the motor, 7 delays and broken promises of "it'll be fixed by next week/ Friday/ noon tomorrow," 4 rental cars, countless stressful calls, 7 days I missed from work because I couldn't get a rental because of their last-minute delays, $2200, and an overall stressful experience. Hopefully this time it holds up, but even as I was driving out thy were telling me it needs tires (then why didn't you tell me that before and actually fix the issue?) Terrible, would not recommend.

I was all but stranded 6 hours from home with a transmission issue in my '96 VW. Brought it to these guys and was told it would have to be replaced to get me home by the weekend. They were able to find a replacement, but it was 1800 incl. Labor with no warranty as the one they found was a junkyard pull. Luckily, Kevin was open and honest with me about the risks and gave me a couple of options and time to think it through. Ended opting to tow it home with a U-haul. Kevin was great. He was understanding, helpful, and waived my diag. Fee due to the state of my dilemma. Thanks yall

Elite automotive was a great decision to take my husband's truck there after a deer hit his truck. It did take a whole to get it back, but there was so much to fix, mechanical, and body work. We were astonished how great his truck turned out. It looked brand new. Thanks Marcell to you and your staff

I needed to rent a vehicle at a moment's notice and Elite took great care of me. I thought it would cost me a lot of money since I hadn't been able to call ahead to reserve, but I was surprised. Casey was awesome in getting things in order before I arrived, and I was on my way out the door within five minutes. Great people to deal with and I loved the littlered Mini Cooper. It was perfect for me. I will definitely be back to rent a car if needed or to have my own vehicle serviced. Very pleased.

I took my vehicle to Elite recently to which I have taken my vehicle as well as my wife's vehicle for several years. I had a misfire at high RPM's and was told that it was due to worn out plugs and wires. They replaced worn out plugs/wires which indeed fixed the problem. A short 3 months/1300 miles later my car began to have the same exact issues as before (missing at high RPM). I then took my vehicle back to elite to resolve the issue but after a few days I was called and told that they could not determine the problem. I spent near $1,400 for plugs and wires to fix the issue at hand and when I went to pick up my pick up my vehicle for the second time I was charged an additional $130 for attempting to diagnose the problem. Now I am out over $1,500 and nothing resolved whatsoever. James has always been very helpful in diagnosing and his service techs resolving any issue in the past. I am very disappointed in the way this was handled. I have referred several friends and family members to Elite and this is unfortunate that I can't recommend them anymore.

My first visit with Elite. Wonderful experience. Everyone, not just management, i mean everyone is concerned about doing the best possible job and making sure you are informed and have a positive experience. My Audi TT needed 60k service, brakes and convertible top motors. The dealership would have been outrageously expensive but I feel elite saved me some money and cared about doing it right. 24 month/24000 mile help if I have an issue with the convertible top is awesome. I brought in two Mercedes Benz Sprinters for body damage - one was a driver side dent and the window would only go half way up and the other one was for rear passenger side damage. FIXED IN 1.5 WEEKS! With so many part shortages nowadays, they managed well and had a quick turnaround, all the body shops in the Nashville-Middle TN area had wait times up to a month and even longer than that. Professional and informative staff, they detailed my vehicles at time of pick up. They take extra care of your vehicles while it s in their shop. Also, their customer lounge, help yourself with a quick complimentary drink to keep you going in the hot weather now that summer is upon us. Overall, had a great experience while I was there to take my vehicles in and they re easy to communicate with if you re a person who needs constant updates on your vehicles to get you back on the road, whether if it s for personal use or business use. These guys are definitely top-notch mechanics, honest and transparent, and extremely thorough with their diagnostics. I had some engine trouble (cylinder misfires) along with some steering system problems and bounced between 3 different shops in Cookeville. None of them could accurately diagnose the engine issues on my 2005 Mercedes, and all 3 of them totally missed the true underlying problem affecting my steering system in their inspections. It was only until I got my vehicle down to Elite that we figured out precisely what the engine needed. And they almost instantly spotted the real steering problem, which was my rack and pinion. They broke down everything that needed attention in incredible detail, revealing much more than the prior inspections, and took care of my immediate needs so I could safely drive back to Nashville. I wish I could afford to let them replace the rack and everything else right now, because I know the quality of their work is impeccable. I would give them 5 stars if they were a little more flexible on sourcing parts. I found many of the parts I needed, OEM, new, for far less than what they quoted me. I understand, though, they have a high standard to maintain. Labor was a bit pricey too, but you get what you pay for on maintaining German vehicles. So, 5 stars on quality and professionalism. 4 and a half overall if you're on a tight budget. To my fellow Mercedes owners, don't even mess with the shops in Cookeville. Take it down to Elite to get the job done right.

Took my well maintained 2010 X5 (126k miles) in for a check engine light. Elite kept finding additional issues. Spent nearly $6k for repairs. Yes, it's a BMW but parts and labor too expensive. Less than 100 miles later other issues came up. Finding a good repair shop is a lot about trust, to be fair, I don't trust them.The problem turned out to be the breaks. Obnoxious owner? or at least he said so. Then made excuse after excuse. Different story from different person each time. Suddenly there is a threat for storage fees once they told me my repairs needed. I went back to the dealership!

Call to ask how much an alignment would be and got told I don t know .we don t give prices over the phone One of the many reasons I have stopped going here and now will no longer go here for even the simple things

I took my F250 Powerstroke in for a extensive and time consuming cab-off repair. The estimates were accurate and they kept in constant communications with any additional problems they found along the way, also they didn't try selling me additional service or parts that didn't warrant replacing.I did have to take the vehicle back for some minor corrections but it was handled promptly and without hassle.They say they specialize in European cars but do not hesitate to take your heavy pickups in for repair, their pricing is more than competitive, especially considering they use all OEM parts where applicable and they include many items in the standard job where other shops just simply reinstall the old.Thanks to Sean, James, Anthony and the rest of the staff.Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

Contrary to the previous post, I've had lots of work done here on multiple vehicles over the past several years and I've never had a problem. The office personnel are always extremely nice and informative, and the owner will usually discuss the finer points of tougher issues. Yes I've had a couple of those "one thing leads to another" moments (such is life when it comes to my car...), but they've worked out in the end without my wallet draining too badly. I have NEVER felt cheated or shanghaied into any repair I didn't feel comfortable about especially being an enthusiast who is prone to self diagnosing, this is just about the only place I trust in this area with a German car.

Was traveling when my car malfunctioned. I happened to be near Sparta and someone directed me to them. They diagnosed my car's problem and set me up in one of their rental/loaners so I could be, safely, on my way before the winter storm hit. Sean and his crew have always been very professional and helpful to me. I'm not the best with cars, and Sean has always seen fit to explain everything that is going on so that even a car novice like myself understands. They've always been fair with me on price and they stay in constant communication with you about the status of your car. They are the best of the best, and I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone and everyone

I took my son's Volvo in for an inspection of several different lights coming on sporadically. As soon as the car was checked out, I got a call and everything was explained to me and I was given the choices of action to remedy the issues.From the time I walked in the door to drop the car off, until I picked the car up and walked back out the door... things could have not been better.I received great service at a great price. They have called a couple of times just to check on the car and make sure things were going well.I am thankful to have found this place and will always encourage anyone looking for a great place for auto repairs, to go to Elite Auto.

I've had a couple cars worked on at the shop and have been more than satisfied with their work. I was in quite a predicament with a new car I bought and they saved me about $1800 in unseizing a part for me. He was also able to pinpoint what was exactly wrong with another car I had through diagnostic, when I was told by other sources 5 different things that could be wrong that were completely fine. They have been very knowledgable and fair to me, and I have been happy with their work.
