We had to have our car (Toyota RAV4) towed from I24 near Manchester to Maples on a Sunday afternoon recently. We had a nail in the tire and then the spare came off. Maples did an excellent job in working with us to replace the tire, which was under Road Hazard insurance with the tire dealer and making sure no further damage had been done in the incident. Kaylee was professional in all customer communication and Skip did an excellent job with the car and was fair with the work done and what was charged. We have brought our cars to Maples for maintenance and repairs and have always been pleased.

This shop has a very well deserved 5 star rating, and I suspect always will. Incredible service, incredible people, and incredible prices. Any one of these is rare these days, but all 3?! It's great to have a place I can rely on and trust! In between houses and needed someone to get my beast ready for an HPDE road course event . Perfect pedal feel and everything was done exactly as it should be! The car even sounds happier

Great experience with Maples and I highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs. I needed a water pump on a newish but out of warranty vehicle. Changing a water pump used to be a DIY task, however, as with most repairs now the process is far more involved with newer models. Maples has a great location; very clean and nice shop area. I was impressed from start to finish with reception, estimate, timely and professional work and follow up calls to make sure all was ok with my car. I'll go to Maples for all future repair needs. Being fairly new to the area, I am grateful to have found a fair and reliable service shop that I can trust.

Skip Maples and his team are professional and provide excellent service.I was taking a LONG road trip recently and needed new tires. Skip found the right tires for my car and did an alignment job on very short notice.The workmanship was exceptional! The car ran beautifully and everything was aligned perfectly.To many, this may seem commonplace - trust me - it is not.It takes skill and attention to detail to do things properly THE FIRST TIME.THANKS TO SKIP AND HIS TEAM!I will be a repeat customer!

I love taking my care to Maples, and not just because their Great Danes come out to great me. Skip, his wife, and their team do a great job, are fair in their pricing and I feel like they are looking out for my car (I have challenges Skip to get my van to at least 250K miles). You can spot the professionalism just by the wat they care for their shop - it is kept very clean and organized. I m so impressed with Maples Automotive! I ve had terrible experiences with mechanics in the past so anytime I need work done I feel very apprehensive. I m so glad to say I ve found my new go to place in Maple s Automotive. Not only did they quote me a way cheaper price than other places they also had my car ready to go less than 12 hours later. I was shocked. The work is top notch and my Honda Accord is back home and running like a new one! I truly appreciate the value, professionalism and speed of service. Thank you so very much! We are new to Signal Mountain and left an excellent local owner car repair shop in our previous hometown. We were looking for the same kind of business, and we have been more than pleased with our experiences at Maples. Skip is thorough, professional, and prompt. His prices are reasonable and the turn around is timely. His office staff, including the four footed ones, are friendly and courteous. We highly recommend Maples Automotive.

Skip is the best. We've looked at buying a couple of used cars in the last year and he is so thorough and honest (sometimes brutally, but that's good in this case!) about what to expect and what needs to be done. I really appreciate having a mechanic I can trust for this kind of thing in top of regular maintenance and oil changes etc

Maples did not originally want to work on my make and model of car. I asked him to check out a YouTube video and he called me back in 5 minutes and agreed to do the job.The work was done in an hour and half. Less than expected. He charged a fair price and my car didn't have any grease on the inside. The shop is so clean. I can't say enough good about this experience. My friends referred them and I am very happy and satisfied. I announced at a dinner party Sunday that if anyone needed a car to be serviced, this was the place to go. Thank you Skip!

Skip manages a very clean, organized and professional business. He provides accurate quotes for the required maintenance and completes the work by the expected date. Our family has had Skip repair several of our vehicles and never have we had to return our vehicle or follow up with Skip on incomplete or inadequate work.

Maples has become my go to place for car repairs! Skip, Jennifer, and staff are great to work with. They have always taken care of our cars even though we have a broad range of make, model, and age. It s great to have a local garage that is convenient and you can trust. They re our neighbors!

Skip Maples has been taking care of our old Honda Pilot with 200,000 miles on it for a few years and does a good job. I started using Maples when he was moonlighting from his Honda job and working from home. His business has grown b/c he does good work. His turnaround time and prices are always reasonable. Finding a capable and honest mechanic can be challenging. Maples Automotive is it.

We drive 45 mins to take our cars here bc they are so much better than any shops around us. Skip is a straight shooter and always has your car ready earlier than promised. He does incredible work for a fair price and I just can't say enough good things about this place. This family owned business is top knotch and I would recommend everyone to go there.

I have dealt with Skip a few times. Every time I leave there I am more impressed. He gets in you in and out fast and his pricing is very reasonable. He also has the latest modern tools to work on most any car. What more could you ask for? I have been sending people to him that are off the mountain and they feel it was well worth the drive.

We live on Signal Mountain and Maples is our primary mechanic. Both Skip and his wife have always been kind and honest with us. They also work on vehicles quickly & efficiently, and provide good communication. If they do not know what is causing the vehicle's problem, they will let you know. It is hard to find good mechanics, and we are thankful to have found Maples!

Maples did an outstanding job on my SUV!! I had trouble for months and the dealership I took it too said they fixed it but they did not, I kept having the issues. Maples got me right in and found the problems, fixed them and had it ready in three days. Problems are gone and the car drives great now!!! Skip has repeatedly worked on a couple of my aging vehicles. I have always found him to be very competitively priced easily beating Firestone and others, as well as his workmanship being thorough and complete, without recommending unneeded repairs. I highly recommend someone considering a long term automotive maintenance partner to give Skip and the maples team a chance.

I started taking my truck to Maples at the end of last year and couldn't be happier with the quality of service. Skip's always straightforward and transparent with the work that needs to be done and legitimately seems to care about the people that come in. Highly recommended if you need a mechanic in the Signal area.

Maples automotive was great! This was my first time using Maples Automotive as they were close to our new home. They were timely with an accurate estimate, and completed the work on time, and even followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. Would definitely use them again.

We called these gentlemen to pull our truck out of the muddy ditch. They were quick, efficient, brought 2 vehicles, and were the nicest people one could ever meet. We have been working with Skip for years and years! We have taken multiple makes/models to him and he always does a fantastic job! He is honest and the turnaround on getting the job done is, in most cases, sooner than expected! Why go off of Signal Mountain when we have this wonderful family run business in our community!

Maples got right to us, gave an honest estimate, and had our repair complete the next morning. We have found a new place to get our automotive service completed.We always heard great news about Maples, but assumed it was a little garage or home base. Believe me, it is a real automotive garage! Maples did a great job on my 212k mile truck. Identified the problem (catalytic converters), ordered parts and turned it around quickly. Reasonable price, good communication, and good work. Will certainly come back. Thank you Skip.

This was my first visit to this garage. The facility is very clean. The work on my truck was done in a professional manner. A day after they completed the job, they contacted me to make sure everything was okay. I was very impressed with that level of service. I have been going to Maples Automotive since the summer of 2017 when I moved to Chattanooga. He has taken care of me and my car each visit. I live near Hamilton Place and I tell anyone it is worth the drive everytime. I have been to other places and would leave with more problems than I showed up with. Mr. Skip gets straight to the point and is considerate of time and schedules. Also from other vehicles I've seen come and go during my visits and the creative way his shop is themed he is well-versed on the old school and new school cars. You wont regret your time and services at this family oriented business

Had Skip do an alignment recently after a friend of mine told me about his shop and them being very pleased with jobs he had done for them in the past. I Just stopped by to see if he could do it and if so could he get it in within the next few days, I was surprised when he said sure and he rolled it right in and took care of it the same day. Close to 5 months, a lot of rough roads and many miles later and it still drives as good as the day he done the alignment. I will be traveling up the mountain from now on when I need any type of work like this. Highly recommend.
