My whole experience here has been God awful. I brought my mustang here about two years ago to get the muffler fix. It came out great, people were kind and honest. And I really respected that because it s hard to find good mechanics. My boyfriends car had a fuel pump going bad so I recommend him to this place. Horrible mistake. I don t know if they ve gotten different mechanics now or what, but they don t have a lick of sense what they are doing. We ve had to come back 3 times !! Cause each time they always would put in a bad fuel pump. And I m not saying that just to say that, they literally told us they put in a bad fuel pump. The first time after we got the car back the car made a bad loud whining noise coming from the back and after a few weeks the whole car shut off!! We had to call a tow truck to come hall it back to the shop. And when we got it back they told us they had put in a bad fuel pump in it!! We payed over 600 for a company to give use a bad fuel pump!! And that s not where it ends there. After receiving the car a second time it still made that God awful bad whining noise and not even that they broke the handle off the latch to open the hood. Literally just left it broken with out contacting us telling us about it, just handed it back broken. When I called to tell them that it was still making the noise it did in the beginning the mechanic literally told me that it wasn t true!! That they never heard the noise!! When you start the car the noise immediately starts going, which tells me they are either lying or they never started the car when we had it there in the shop to check if they fixed the problem. So whenever I took it back for the third time I made a mechanic go out there with me to listen to it. And that s when he admitted that he could hear it clear as day and it sounded like a bad fuel pump. So what I m getting from this is that not once not twice but 3 time they put in a bad fuel pump?? I m paying 600 for a bad fuel pump?? So when I received it for the final time after it still makes the bad whining noise and now there s a huge slice in the drivers seat, as if someone got a knife and sliced open the seat!! And would you believe if I told you they never told us about it. Never call and apologized or gave us a reason about how it happened just sent it back like that. How unprofessional. So I went up there to complain to get my car fixed and the woman receptionist told me she d give me a call to get everything fixed the latch and the seat it s been over a week and never got a call. I have been going back-and-forth with this place trying to get his car fixed and I also feel like it s my responsibility to get it all fixed since I recommended him to this place. Which was the worst mistake. I wanted to know if I was the only one having problems with this place and whenever I check the comments, it seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem I m having. Which I get it now this place is not professional or trustworthy. I m so glad I never brought my mustang back here, but I m also upset that I recommend him to this place and now his car is messed up. If I don t get his car back to how it should be with fixing the damages and the noise I will unfortunately have to make a small claim and call my attorney to take it to court to get my money back and have it take it to a new mechanic. Highly highly suggest not coming here if you love your car.

Would not trust them with your car. They have horrible mechanics there. This whole place is a joke. I see why people complain about this place.

Well, it's a long story. Used tire buyer, and they shipped the tires to this place.I had went the morning the tires were supposed to be delivered, told the guy we were leaving for Florida in the morning and needed to get a tire before I went. He told me they mite come in this afternoon to be patient and they would let me know. Never did hear from them so I went and got a used tire, this was on a Thursday, that Monday, I looked at my email, and seen they were delivered, not me upset, but hey no biggie, never did hear from them saying they had my tires, so I called on Wednesday to see if I could get them put on, and a alignment as well, Made an appointment for Friday at 10 to put the tires on and 11 for the alignment, so it would be ready at 12, drop it off, go get something to eat, come back at 12, just for them to tell me it would be another few hours before they could do the alignment, I couldn't waist my day, I had to go to work. But if they would've let me known at 11, that they couldn't do the alignment I could've gotten it done somewhere else. I get ready to leave guy pulls it up, and says oh by the way your tire light is on, I ask him what was the deal with it, because it wasnt on when I pulled in here? He said I'm just a laborer, but if you need to get it looked at they could put it on the machine, but it would cost money. By this time I'm upset, I tell him no it ain't, he said I needed to talk to the guy at the desk, so 30 mins later, after i tell the guy what i need, Thank you Google, another guy comes out and fixes it. So now I'm at 3 hours just to get 4 tires put on, which is why I made an appointment in the first place to avoid. I will not return..

I can t say enough great things about Tire & Muffler USA! I called a few different shops because I knew exactly the tires I wanted, and not only were they the best priced, the service was out of this world! The staff were kind, the waiting room was clean and comfortable, I have no negatives to mention! I have total confidence in their work and am definitely going to be a repeat customer!

My husband and I have been going to USA tire and muffler in Shelbyville Tn for several years. They have always treated us with respect and kindness. The sweet lady (Dawn) at the desk is amazing.. She always has a smile on our face and is always ready to help you! The mechanics are very knowledgeable about what needs to be done to your vehicle. I would recommend anybody to go and give them an opportunity to show you just what they can do for you! Thank you all so much and have a blessed day!

I wish I could tell you how great they are but I can t get over how rude the receptionist is. I can understand a bad day, but not every time I ve walked into the place. I ll take my money elsewhere

Jesse was the sweetest! He took me to work so I didn t have to wait on my battery repair! They also didn t charge a penny to fix my battery connector when other places wanted 100$ plus. I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks again Jesse

Left a bolt loose on a water pump that started leaking..got a reply that things like that happens!!Then replaced the clutch on fan the mechanic guaranteed me that would fix my coolant issue...truck is running 10 degrees hotter!!Worked on truck for 29 minutes..charged me for a hr labor..252.00 repair that got me no were..water pump was leaking also before bolt was tightened!!Never came back 10 minutes later and told anyone it was ok..never left parking lot!!Came back and asked about the noise from new clutch..you've worked on my truck for the last time...Christian beliefs my foot!!!

Great prices and courteous service. Miss. Dawn is busy but takes the time to get to know you and make your experience pleasant. It was time for new tires on my Ford Fusion and Tire & Muffler USA had the beat deal and service! I love supporting local businesses!

Very nice people. I had to install a new battery. the only problem was it took about 4 hours. But they got the job done. I guess they had to wait on O'reilly's to bring them parts which kind of messed up my day. Other than that fairly reasonable prices . I will be back If I have car problems in this area

This place has changed my attitude about service people. The team that worked on my car made sure everything was perfect before they let me leave. The manager worked for me with the owners to make sure I got the best deal possible . While I waited on my car I witnessed many occasions that service and cost was more than fair to several customers. My thanks to all there for saving me lots of money.

Outstanding customer service, fair prices, and qualified, helpful staff. Tire and Muffler USA is my choice shop when I don't have time to work on my vehicle myself. I appreciate their honesty and dedication to their customers. My fuel pump went out on 231 south 7:30 at night. Called the shop at 7:30 the next day, they recommended a tow from Ray's Towing (also outstanding) and they had it fixed by 2:00 the next day. Great staff! Keep up the good work guys! And thanks for fixing my truck!- Justin

I go here for my oil change its a very good price since the Newtown dealership is over priced as hell but here I save about half the price for an oil change and services then going to my dealership and I'm still under warranty so this place won't void your warranty which Is really good! I highly recommend them to everyone that needs services for their car

They fixed my flat and put it on, without changing me. Then one young man even told me a good place to buy used tires. All the employees were friendly, said hello. I highly recommend this place to everyone!. I know I will be a loyal customer from now on.

Stopped in to get an oil change, and it was super speedy with great service! I also asked about tires on the car, and they went above and beyond to make sure I knew exact prices and what not. Will definitely be back for all my future service needs!

First time doing business here. Took a day longer to get in tires I ordered but when they came in the service was excellent, fast friendly people. I am now a loyal customer who will not hesitate to recommend you to my friends. Thank you!

We took my van (2001 Mazda mpv) in with some huge major issues. Hopeful we just needed a catalytic converter but knew she was having some insanely major issues. These wonderful people never gave up getting her running right again!! They tried one thing after another after another and at the end-when I was able to go pick her up- she runs better than she has since I bought her!!! Thank you so so much guys for never giving up!!! As a single mother going to school this van is so very important to us :) I truly can never say thank you enough.

Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing before they start the work.Was told one price and then given another price and then when I ask about why it was soooo much more I was shown at work order that I never seen.

Great, honest people. Budget Brakes in Murfreesboro tried to take advantage of me not knowing much about cars and told me my repair would cost $550. In reality, I was just paranoid about my brakes and they re just fine. Any time I need car help, I ll be going here.

It was a Monday, and I know that things can go wrong so I'm going to give'em the benefit of the doubt....... Edit:That's how I began my previous review. Then the folks at Tire & Muffler contacted me and suggested that we try again. So we did.I wasn't looking for a high mileage tire for my old pickup truck, I wanted a good value: reasonable price, smooth ride, fair handling and basically trouble free operation. I feel like my initial needs have been met. The tires that I purchased are not winter tires; they are summer highway tires and, honestly, that's what I need 90% of the time.If these nice people provide the service, as advertised, on my purchase, then my future edited review will be:"Awesome."

Came in with a loose heat shield and they quickly solved my problem and didn t charge me for their work. Treated me very nicely since I was from out of town. Highly recommend them

Revised 2/11/2020Had a great experience from them today. I put very few miles on my vehicle, around 2300 per year. I finally took my truck in to have tires balanced and rotated that I bought from them in November 2016. I originally purchased their lifetime service agreement so there was no charge today. I need to add, I've had a problem with driver's front going flat for about a year now. I've brought it in numerous times to get the tire reflated and never been charged. Once they even carefully checked the tire and told me there is a minor flaw in the rim causing the issue. Today they removed that tire from the rim and "roughed up" the contact points with the tires all the way around, remounted the tire with a sealant, balanced it then did a normal balance & rotate the tires. Also, I am now disabled so I had a friend who works at a nearby business drive the truck to work. The guys at Tire Muffler picked up and dropped off the truck to his workplace. NONE OF THIS WAS I CHARGED FOR! I have depended on them for nearly 10 years since moving to Shelbyville. I had one visit with a hiccup but otherwise every visit has been handled with kindness and professionalism. These guys definitely go out of their way to make their customers happy and I can say without hesitation that from me, they have a customer for life!
