These guys are absolutely the best at what they do. We can not thank them enough, not only for the services they performed but the speed at which they did it. Like many people visiting the smokey mountains, our brake pads began scrubbing, so we knew it needed to be fixed. We had taken the truck into a different shop before our trip to make sure it was up for the trip, but that is a whole other story that we won't go into. We pulled in early that morning, told them what was going on, and was told it was no problem at all and would be back on the road within the hour. We handed them the keys and walked to the general store about a block up the street that the wife wanted to visit. Once we were done, we walked back, and it was done. Literally in less than an hour, which included waiting for the parts to arrive. They were up front about the pricing and the parts they used and didn't try selling us something we didn't need. Mark and Loyd, we cannot thank you two enough for all your hard work and honesty when we were down on our luck. Please, if you ever need work done on your vehicle while in Tennessee, you owe it to yourself to give them a shot, you won't regret it. Again, thank you both so much. You saved our vacation.

We were on vacation and towing a fifth wheel when we started hearing some brake noise. They got us in and fixed in a jiffy. They showed us exactly what had failed and went the extra mile to make sure we would be safe on the road again. Very friendly and fair priced. They could ve charged more. Thanks guys. Highly recommend this honest mechanic.

Great shop. I m from out of town and the owner worked with me to identify and fix not repair the problem. He was upfront about the cost. He ordered the parts and had the vehicle fixed in a very timely manner. Highly recommend.

Had to make a somewhat long trip in an older F150. Had the lads at WVBAC check the old girl out. Hidden from view they found where ground squirrels had chewed sensor wires. Made the trip without issue. Well done

Very kind and professional. When my Hyundai gave up on me he did everything he could to help me out including trying to find an engine that didn't cost a fortune. Even though we didn't find one, I still really appreciated the effort. He even showed me how to sign over my title to the scrap company when it was time.

My wife and I were camping in Pigeon Forge and while sight seeing in the Smoky Mountains I heard a noise from my front brake. We pulled over and I could smell a burning odor and the front wheel/rim was very hot. Since we would be pulling our trailer back home in a few days I wanted to get it checked out as soon as possible. Wears Valley was nearby and I was hoping someone could at least take a look at it and maybe schedule something for the next day if needed. It was already about 3PM. I was greeted by Mark and he said no problem and mechanic Lloyd jacked it up and determined the brake pad was shot. Without hesitation they asked if I wanted to fix it today. I was happy to have it done immediately. Within two hours or less they got the parts and we were on our way. The price was even below what I could have been charged in many other places especially since we were just passing through. Mark and Lloyd are two honest hardworking guys and can't thank them enough for helping us out. I stopped in the next day with a squeak in rear brake, but it was just some dust and dirt. Lloyd cleaned it and test drove it with no charge.

Had to use them to plug a tire for a nail. Very quick and reasonable pricing. One of the few places that will still do plugs.Excellent job and thank you for saving a tire (3/4 life left and nail in the middle of a tread groove) other places would have replaced! Thanks for getting us back on the road so quickly!

Fantastic people! While my daughter is working at the state park she had a starting issue with her car. They went above and beyond to make a mom less worried from several states away! Helped us find a fair towing company and fixed her car right up for an honest cost! Very happy to have come across these genuine people! If I could give more stars I would! As someone in the industry it s nice to know there are fair and honest shops like this around!

Used this place in a pinch because its location happened to be where I had a vehicle emergency. I would give the shop a mediocre rating due to the fact that it was not specifically a spectacular experience nor would I say that it was a negative experience either. As for going back, I d have to see in the future how the work holds up.

Excellent service and exceptional integrity. Auto zone machine recommended $200 o2 sensors for my car. Wears Valley auto repair examined the car and said I didn t need it. Took it to dealership where they diagnosed and changed fuel injectors. Fixed the problem. Mechanic in the Valley could have easily changed the part anyway and charged me for the work. But he didn t. He treated my vehicle and pocketbook like his own. This man and his team are true assets to our valley. I highly recommend them!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

One thing I appreciated the most was how Mark treated me so kindly and considerately. I was able to get my brakes checked and found out that the rotors needed replacing. The job was done ahead of schedule and done at a fair price. We were on vacation, and I loved being able to help out a local guy who does tremendous work right here in this community. I would recommend him for anyone needing brakes and kind customer service at the same time. Well done Mark!Service: Brakes

This place saved us while on vacation in TN. Our brakes were making grinding noises and we were getting increasingly worried about driving back to PA. We heard about Wears Valley Breaks from the manager of our Air B and B. We called and they got us in the next morning and fixed the brakes that day, so we didnt get stuck in TN longer. The owner even gave me a ride back to my cabin and picked me up again, since it would take a few hours to get the calipers. Amazing, quick service and very good people!

We were here on vacation from Texas. 1000 miles from home, and of course, our car started over heating. They didn't waste a moment on taking our car in and diagnosing the problem. A beautiful view while we waited and they not only diagnosed the issue but advised us on how to nurse it home and started the process on a warranty repair that we can complete when we get home. Great people and great service. Use them if you can!

The owner and his employee were nothing but nice to us! We drove from Chicago and ended up having some car trouble. Stopped here without an appointment to see if they could take a look at it. They did a diagnostic test and turns out we might have just had some air in the fuel line that needed to make its way out. Made us feel much more comfortable about driving home! Thank you for being so kind to us out of towners !

Lost breaks while on vacation and took it to Mark's shop. One of his mechanics (Lloyd) drove me to the place were renting and said he will get the problem fixed. Within two hours the master cylinder was replaced, lines bled and my vehicle was ready to be picked up! Not too many shops left like this, where you can take your vehicle and know that you're going to be treated honestly, fairly and with the utmost RESPECT!! I can't thank Mark enough!!!Service: Brakes

I have nothing but the highest praise for Mark and his guy. They did my brakes under what was quoted and faster than I expected. Had just about everything replaced on the rear brakes including the brake lines. My Dodge pickup has over 218,000 miles and this the first time the rotors and calipers have been touched. Great work, quality work and honest work. Things that are hard to find today.
