I m very upset and feel I was lied to from a sales person from this Dealership!! First of all we called the sales department to ask about a truck they had. We talked to the sales representative and told them what we were looking for and that we were interested in a specific truck. He gave us a quote on the truck. Needless to say we did not agree on the pricing so we wished him a good day and hung up the phone and move on with our search! The next day, the gentleman called us and asked us if we were still interested, And we said we re interested in the truck, but not interested in the pricing! That was a lot more than we were wanting to pay so he asked me if could he run some numbers and get back in touch with me I said, most certainly!! He returned the call about an hour later and said that he had come up with a figure and would this work with us and I said no so that s a little bit higher than what we told you that we were really wanting to spend! The gentleman said OK can I ask what you re wanting to spend and I share this information with him? And then hung up the phone about two hours later he called me back and made another offer and I said I don t know if we can do that or not. He said well I can do this if you gave me another thousand dollars down it would be a done deal, he quoted the amount of the payment on 72 months and we would have to put an extra thousand dollars down so I talked with my husband and we agreed so I called him back and said that we agree !! At this time I went over everything that had been said with him that he had told me he could do. He said, as long as we had a good credit score, We have 820 credit score I don t know how you can get much better than that but anyways, we are debt-free!! We own our home and two other automobiles, and a nice bass boat!! So, after going over everything, he said, as long as I was telling him the truth, it would be approved!! which was a lie. He had not gotten the deal approved that he had offered me and then he kept changing it and changing it and changing it but by this time he had done gathered our information and run our credit a few times , lowered our credit score because he lied to us and offered us a deal that he did not have on the table !! So if you do any business with the dealership, you need to know this!!

I took my 2015 Silverado truck to Volunteer Chevrolet which is the same dealership that I purchased it from. ($60k dollar truck). I told them what my truck was doing. It was scheduled to be looked at and diagnosed on a Tuesday. Wednesday I had to call to see what was going on. They said they can't seem to find anything at all wrong. I told them again what was going on. They said we will look at it again. Thursday evening rolls around and nothing. I call back to see what the status is. They can't find anything at all. I proceeded to tell them again what its doing. The gentleman said we will test it out again. Friday no call back. Monday I get a call to finally tell me it's the transmission and that it's going to cost this much. I said well I will have to wait on that since it's the cost of a good used car. I go to pick it up and I have a $195 diagnostic fee! Mind you I have purchased this vehicle from them. I am sorry but this is not good business! I paid it, but moving forward I WILL NOT PURCHASE OR HAVE ANY VEHICLE SERVICED THERE! So much for taking care of people that purchase from you.Best regards,Michael McReynolds

After 2 cancelled appointments by VC, finally got car looked at. Got costly quote. Have questions. Not explained well while there. And, I can NEVER get through when I call, and NO ONE RETURNS a call. Pretty sure you're not getting my $3,000. Going elsewhere for repair.

The best car dealership and auto repair in town! They are honest and dependable. They went above and beyond to help me get a good, reliable second vehicle. I could not have gotten better service. I m extremely satisfied with my purchase and how they handled the transaction. Great customer service!

Brett Nicely is an all around nice person. I had my 90yr old father-in-law come with me to pick up my new Blazer. Brett treated him with respect and even helped him into the front passenger seat. Everyone made the purchase easy andquick

We were recently on vacation in Gatlinburg and having car trouble. We called the dealership, as we didn't know of a repair shop locally and they told us they could try to work us in for a diagnostic. I was hopeful that this wouldn't take too long...We dropped the car off on Monday and called back Wednesday and they hadn't even run a Dx on the vehicle yet. Called Thursday and left a voicemail, no response. Called Friday morning and they finally had run the diagnostic....and made the repairs within 2 hours.Honestly - I was thankful that we got the car fixed but upset that it had to sit for 5 days (and my family was without a vehicle while on vacation!) before they even ran the diagnostic. I know from taking the vehicle to my local Chevy dealer that running the Dx only takes 5 minutes at most. I understood that they were working us in (and they made sure to tell us they were short staffed), but had we known the root cause we could have easily taken the car somewhere else to be repaired same-day or next-day. Instead we were 100% reliant on public transportation and Ubers for our trip...A little bit of extra-mile service could have gone a long way here!

My son was in Gatlinburg for the weekend and had the unfortunate experience of losing the transmission in his truck four hours from home. The team at Volunteer is getting his repairs expedited and getting him an excellent nationwide warranty on the transmission as well. People always say dealers take forever. NOT THESE GUYS! They jumped through hoops to take care of a stranded tourist and it is greatly appreciated! I only wish Google allowed a 6-star rating.

Absolutely horrible! I went here for auto repairs and they charged almost $600 for what at first they said was 1 hour of labor, when I confronted them when I got the bill they tried to change the story and said that they spent 3 hours. They are not honest about the work and labor costs that they charge. And forget about it if your car needs new parts on the bill it says they charge a 35% restocking fee on new parts. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!

I had an appointment for my vehicle to be looked at due to a loud rattle upon start and during high revs. I dropped the car off the night before my appointment to ensure they could hear what I was talking about as it's more prevalent on a cold start. My car was not looked at for nearly 3 business days and not once did anyone call me with a status update, I had to call for an update everyday and was made to feel like a nuisance for doing so. After having my car for 3 business days I was told all my injectors needed to be replaced and that would solve the issue. I picked my car up the next afternoon and upon starting my car it made the same loud rattling sound. I called the service department about it still making the sound the next morning and was told to bring it back in. I dropped my car off that same day and was told they would start it the next morning. I waited until 2:30 the next afternoon to call to get an update on my car and was told they checked it that morning but they could not hear any sounds, why they never called me to tell me this I do not understand. I picked up my vehicle and made an appointment at a different mechanics shop in the area. This other mechanic was able to diagnose the rattle sound within one day which was something pretty important to fix. I am disappointed in all aspects of the service department at this dealership from the appointment making process down to the customer service and am regretful that I chose this dealership for my vehicle purchase due to my service agreement being there. Very thankful for the other mechanic that diagnosed and fixed my issue.

I recommend salesman Cody Allen, very down to earth , It was the most easiest process on purchasing a truck, compared to my past experiences when lived in Florida. It didn't take forever with the games playing on prices and hassling. Tennessee rocks .

Charged me 880 dollars which did not fix the problem, Then they said they could not fix it and to come get my vehicle. The manager was rude and kept putting words in my mouth. When I called to pay they hung up on me. Great place.. Casey was helpful, the manager was a joke.

I had a wonderful experience with Volunteer Chevrolet. Brett was very helpful and clear in explaining my options, patient in answering my questions, and worked with me so that I left knowing I had received a very fair price on an excellent vehicle. Thankful for the experience!

Volunteer Chevy saved my tail last weekend. Transmission went out in my 2015 Silverado and I was able to limp it in on Saturday. I was 5 hours from home. Volunteer had a reman transmission in stock and had my truck running the Tuesday following a Monday holiday. I could not have asked for a better experience. Service gets an A plus!

Prices for services was not made clear. When asked about this I was told "we have a sign stating our prices, your wife should have looked at it." Made it a point to look for sign when picking up our vehicle and still didn't see it. Just so everyone knows, if you take your silverado for a brake change, they have an issue that if something that is super specific isn't done it tells the truck software that the brake system is failing and limits it to 43mph until you take it to a dealer to clear the codes out, which costs $168+tax just to diagnose. After talking to another two dealerships about this they both said that there is a bulletin out for this but that the bulletin is for dealerships only. I only used Volunteer Chevrolet because it was close but I will trailer my vehicles to Reeder before ever using Volunteer again. Also, side note, as a transportation and guest services manager myself, the manager that I dealt with could use quite a bit of training before letting her deal with customers anymore.

The service writer was patronizing and condescending regarding what we knew about our service needs and we had to get the salesman involved to get a basic oil change that was covered under our warranty. Treating people with a measure of politeness is an important skill when it comes to customer service.

I recommend Volunteer Chevrolet, I received a new transmission within 24 hours. They even let me have a loaner car for the night. They worked with my warranty company to get the repairs covered

Shawn was outstanding in finding our vehicles problem, fixing it quickly and making sure we felt comfortable. I wouldn't trust anyone but Shawn to handle my future needs in the area. Top notch technicians that work under him as well.

If I could give a 0 star review, I would. The customer service there is absolutely horrible. My car broke down in the mountains and its been 2 weeks and they are just getting around to it. I'd call and call to check in, since I'm not from Tennessee and I'm 800 miles away, and I'd call multiple times throughout the day and the phone would ring and ring and go to voicemail. They said they'd call to update me, and I never got any calls. I am just beyond frustrated. I have limited time and vacation time to get back to Tennessee. Apparently things are done differently in the south.

The work was fine but the lack of communication is an issue. I would be told I would get called to get updates on work or parts but no call would happen. I would call and have to leave messages with no call back. One day I was on hold for 45 minuets waiting for the consultant to come on and when someone picked up again they hung up when they picked it up off of hold. Customer service is lacking.

Don"t get your vehicle serviced here. It's been apsolutely a nightmare. Everytime we called for information, and also leave a message. One they don't answer there phone and 2, they don't call back. It's been almost a month, and we still don't have the vehicle. It took them 2 weeks just to look at the car. I know this is crazy. I know how to run a car repair shop. And at least try to bring the vehicle in to see what's wrong, in case you need to order parts. In todays problem of getting parts, that should of been first priority. I know diagnosing a car can be difficult. But i know they have out sources they can call if there having problems . I don't know even if they have service people that have taken classes, or if these people don't keep up with what is new . It's the responsiblility of who's owns the shop that there people keep up with seminars. Yes I'm discussed. I can't even rate it. can't get lower then a 0 !!!!!!!!!!

Dropped off my 2015 Mustang GT Premium to have the rear bumper repaired and painted. The car is Magnetic Grey/Silver and I was very skeptical that they could spray it and make it match without being able to tell it had been repaired. Shop Manager Brandon Surber handled the entire repair with the upmost professionalism start to finish. He also handled my rental car. He took all the headache out of this. His team went right to work on my car and the body work guys knocked it outta the park. Painter Gary Reagan blended the very tough color like an absolute pro and when I came to pick up my baby just 3 days after dropping it off, it is FLAWLESS. I could not recommend a place any more than I do this one.Typically, I don't take the time to do reviews but this time, more than warranted one. My car is my pride and joy like they are to a lot of people and to say I was nervous would be a massive understatement. Being able to see the blend, especially with a color that is nothing but metallics is almost a guarantee in my past experience and although Mr. Surber advised me that this would not be an issue for his team I was incredibly skeptical. Upon picking the car up I went over it with a fine tooth comb, checking every angle, even using a flashlight to find any imperfections and not only was there zero imperfections, the finish matched absolutely perfect to the factory paint next to it.The detail team also does not need to go unmentioned here as they cleaned the car inside and out and it literally looked just as good as it did the day I drove it home new. This entire team went above and beyond any and all previous experiences I've had at body shops in the past. My business will never go elsewhere from now on. I highly suggest Brandon Surber and his team at Volunteer Chevrolet Body Shop . Thanks guys!!

I took my 2013 Chevy Equinox in to Volunteer Chevrolet in Sevierville Tennessee for a recall repair and oil change and upon my arrival as I entered the absolutely gorgeous Studio that they had for displaying the cars you see a handsome young man with the big smile on his face greeting you and putting you in the right direction also the service guy that was helping me you know check in and everything was super super nice and very informant he knew exactly what I was therefore because I used my Chevy app to make the appointment so they knew all of the information I just had to sign and dates one paper and it was ready to go while I waited they had a really nice layout for the people to wait while their cars are being serviced but I chose to just take a walk around the lot to look at all the cars and I actually found a car that we are going to purchase and the sales guy I spoke with was amazing he let me know about plenty of options that I had no idea about that would lower my payment give me better interest rates Therefore because I used my Chevy app to make the appointment so they knew all of the information I just had to sign and date one paper and it was ready to go while I waited they had a really nice layout for the people to wait while their cars are being serviced but I chose to just take a walk around the lot to look at all the cars and I actually found a car that we are going to purchase and the sales guy I spoke with was amazing as well. He knew exactly what I wanted and gave me lots of knowledge about how we could get a new ride and still be able to get our daughter a new ride as a graduation gift. So thanks to everyone at VOLUNTEER CHEVROLET.

I never expected to have a great experience at a car dealership, but these guys were GREAT! Chris Cain (YOU ROCK!) went WAY above and beyond to accommodate our requests. Jason Whaley was awesome, too. Test drove, bought and took one home the same day. No pressure, just attention to the customers' needs. Thank you, gentlemen. You have my admiration.
