Long story short, I paid Doug to build me an exhaust manifold and we decided he would make me one quickly. Though after 4 weeks it was still not done and he claimed it would be another 2 weeks. After those 2 weeks passed he claimed he needed another day, that day turned into another week, and then all forms of communication were no longer being answered. after about 10 days of him ignoring me I had no choice but to file a claim through paypal. Luckily they retrieved my money from him but he wasted a lot of my time, buy from reputable company like I should have done from the beginning.

Doug was paid upfront for a number of projects for my Galant VR4. Once I picked my vehicle up from him, over 3 years later (I tried many times to get it from him before but he kept giving scheduling reasons as to why I couldn't pick up the car), a majority of the work was NOT completed. 2 of the major big ticket items, were not completed. I have no evidence the components were ever even touched. As soon as he received his money he stopped answering my calls. This operation is a TOTAL scam. Do not do business with this man!!

My fiancee sent a transmission to Doug in October 2017. The cost was around $2500. We have had little to no contact with Doug after trying to reach him MANY times throughout the months. The last 2 times we have heard from him were this morning and 3 months ago after contacting his family via social media to have him return our phone calls. We received a text from him this morning asking us to not do this and that we should have gotten an email confirming the transmission being sent to us last week. NOT TRUE. We received NO email and the transmission is still not here!!! And he had already told us 3 months ago that he was sending back the transmission first thing Monday morning the weekend after he FINALLY called us back with a FREE part for this hassle.Doug, if you see this please text or call Cameron Moncy ASAP. We are tired of dealing with this, we just want the damn transmission back!

I have to agree with most posts about this person. I paid him over 5000.00 up front to rebuild my engine in my 3000gt. After 18 months I came back to Tennessee to get the car expecting a new rebuilt engine. It was left outside and the dash cracked under the sun, but the worst part is that the engine was never rebuilt as he said he would do, I've had several mechanics tell me the engine has never been out of the car, plus it still smokes as bad as when I took it. It also will not run without spitting and sputtering. I was also told the injectors and fuel system was cleaned, it was not. I am now trying to do it myself since the money I saved for this is gone. I am back in Tennessee doing chemo and have tried to contact Doug on several occasions, no response as usual. Please, do not go here, be smarter than me and take it to a reputable mechanic or even a dealer. I know I'll never get my money back or my car fixed.

My brother dropped his car off here to get a cam, tuner, and cleaned up... charged him for work he didn't do that it had already done to it. Claimed to have the flue 6 times in 2 months. Was supposed to have the work done in a week - 2 weeks max, took 2 months to finish. This man had done good work for me in the past, but took advantage of my brother that doesn't know much about cars. Used my trust - never again can I recommend this person to do work on anyone's vehicle I know. Best I can do is leave this review, believe his response if you want, but if you'd like proof we have receipts where the other work was done prior - feel free to message me.

Doug is extremely knowledgeable and professional. The work he does is amazing, whether it be fabricating, electrical, tuning etc.. if it's between the bumpers you can guarantee you are getting exceptional work for a competitive price. He does everything from basic repairs to fabricating custom manifolds and exhaust to building stand alone engine management system and tuning, a 1 stop shop for performance and quality work!

Sent transmission for my 98 talon TSI over 9 months ago along with $2500. He claimed it was done and ready to ship months and months ago. Now haven t heard from him in months and he has blocked my number. Getting a lawyer now. If you see this Doug just call me or ship my transmission and send me tracking number.

Do not do business with xtreme performance services I purchased a stage 2 NV-t350 transaxle rebuild for my neon exactly one year ago for $2200 not including shipping costs (~200$).after I sent my transaxle I gave a call call a few days later and I was told that my transmission made it to the shop safely. (if the shop even exists). This was the only time I had communication with xtreme performance services. I have called many times wondering about the build status, but nobody ever answered..They even blocked my number because the call would just drop not even ringing once .On their website they claim 4-16 weeks for the services to take place. One year is definitely enough time to rebuild a transmission and I still haven t heard anything about the build. Overall I can say that I m dissatisfied with this ordeal. I could have bought many NV-t350 transmissions instead or even a couple cars for the price of these services. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM,!!!

maybe a few years ago you'd get a product but it seems Doug Lincicome's only prerogative is to accept money and shirk jobs pocketing hard working peoples savings and leaving them without parts until somebody heads down to tennessee and has a chit chat with this pos.Doug, you are known. This will not continue.

DO NOT MAKE ANY PURCHASE FROM DOUG AT XTREME PERFORMANCE . HE IS A SCAM. I SHIPPED MY DSM AWD TRANSMISSION ON OCT 2017 FOR THE STAGE 4 PACKADGE AND RECEIVED NOTHING . I HAVE TO FILE A CLAIM THROUGH PAYPAL . I HOPE THIS GUY GETS WHAT HE DESERVES.. TRANSMISSION$2.510 CLUTCH $449.16 = WASTE OF TIME = LOOSE MY TRANSMISSION. Fully paid for a built car in advance and he will not even return a phone call, be careful because as soon as he has the money good luck trying to get what you paid for....
