This place is fantastic. I'm from Florida and had car trouble in the way to Chicago. A gas station recommended that I go here, so I got there as they opened. They took me right in & changed the faulty oil filter & put fresh oil in my car. The lady, forgot her name was the sweetest & she even hand washed the entire back of my car removing as much oil from the hatch, window & bumper that she can. Great price, wonderful people that know how to treat a car. Please make this your go to mechanic. I can't praise them enough.

Seemed like a nice place to take my mom to buy a vehicle. We drove an hour 44 minutes to purchase just because we couldn't find anything in our area. I saw the reviews and THOUGHT this would be a good place to purchase. My mom had the van for only 4 days and the motor blew up, threw a rod straight through the engine. Engine was smooth and quiet when we test drove it. I believe there were some lies told to us when we were there, like it had a clear car fax report and it's had 20 something maintenance records. I think they knew what was wrong with this van and decided to rob us anyway. Called and asked them if there was anything they could do to help or give us our $5,500 back. We were told that we can have it towed back to them to see if it was their fault. We live in Kentucky, an hour and 44 minutes away so I'm sure it would cost $1,000-$2,000 to get it towed there. This place is a joke. Don't get pulled in by their fake hospitality and kind words. And if you do plan on purchasing something, take it to a different mechanic other than theirs because remember, the mechanic that works for the lot is always in on it too. This business WILL NOT be open much longer.

Little odd, but as with any used car dealer, do your research and you'll drive away with a gold nugget. The people here were really patient with us, despite being busy and understaffed at the time.

To Ali and his team!Amazing service and super friendly staff!! Brought my 1988 Chevy truck in with some starter problems. From the time I made the initial call, to departing from their building, these folks were professional and very accommodating. James called me three times to ask the questions about the history of the truck/problem, cost and service. He is a kind and gentle soul who is very knowledgeable of his trade. He reminded me of the mechanics of long ago who would spend time explaining the problem. I was impressed. I will continue to use their services!Great work gents!!

I would give negative stars if Google would allow it.Mandy and her team sold a van to a family member six days ago, and the motor blew up yesterday morning. A licensed mechanic confirmed that it threw a rod and is in operable without replacing the motor. Less than a week of owning the vehicle and it is now a $7000 paperweight.Being on a fixed income and tending to small children, there is no additional money whatsoever to purchase a second vehicle or repair this one. Even after begging and pleading for the dealership to do some thing, anything, to make this right, they scoffed and denied our requests in a way that was extremely rude and completely unnecessary.I would steer as far away from this operation as humanly possible. They will say exactly what you want to hear just to take you for as much as they can.How anyone with such lack of dignity and a moral compass can continue to go through life comfortably with no remorse is beyond me.If you were looking for that down-home, hospitable and honest American way of life, you won t find any of the above here.

Came here for the first time today for an oil change, it was recommended my husband who had used them before. I got here at 8 o clock on the dot which is what time they open and they weren t open so I parked and sat for about 10 minutes in the parking lot beside theirs. When I went back over there, one of the men that work there was standing outside, drinking coffee just stared at me for a second and then went inside. He Didn t say anything so I waited a couple minutes for someone else to see me. the lady who came out was not Overly friendly but also not rude just generally seemed to not want to be there. She didn t ask me about an oil filter or anything about high mileage, no options or recommendations. She just asked if I needed regular or synthetic I think? I said regular I guess? I really didn t know what she was talking about and she didn t explain. It was about $52 for an oil change which is fine. when I was pulling out her and another technician are standing in the oil change area smoking cigarettes which I feel like is a bad idea. Are all in all I wasn t impressed and won t go back.Service: Oil change

I called on Nov 17th and talk to them about them replacing my heater core in my truck. They told me that they would replace the heater core, the antifreeze in the radiator, and put the freon back in the ac lines, do the entire job for $550 cash. They also told me that it should only take about a day to do the job so I arranged with them to take it up there first thing on Tuesday morning. I had set that day up on Monday the 20th and took the vehicle to them on the 21st. I miss an hour of work to take the truck up there to them on that Tuesday. They didn't have the truck "finished" until Friday about 5:30 p.m. despite telling me the job would only take 1 day. The closest time I was available to pick it up was Monday the 27th. When I went to pick up the truck on that Monday I payed them the $550 to get the truck back, then they handed me the keys and this is what I found: the temperature control knob worked about half as much as it did when I took it to them on the 17th. So I told them "hey this isn't right you guys need to fix this", referring to the temperature control knob not working correctly and even showed one of the mechanics what was wrong before leaving the truck there for them to fix it. I tried calling them multiple times where they just avoided answering my calls purposefully. Had someone else call and they instantly picked up. I just got the truck back Nov 30th and it's in worse shape than it was on Monday (Nov 27th). Now the airbag light is on, the radio doesn't come on at all, my cigarette lighter doesn't work, the fan doesn't come on at all so I have no heat or AC whatsoever (the fan worked just fine on Monday the 27th), and I got home and heard a hissing noise from underneath my hood so I pop the hood on my truck and found that they had only half put on the radiator cap and it sprayed antifreeze across my entire engine and had to buy antifreeze to replace what came out, the temperature control knob moved even less than it did on Monday when I I told them it wasn't right and it needs to be fixed. The guy wrote me a $250 check to basically compensate for their absolute idiocy, if I have to take it to someone else I guarantee it's going to cost me more than the $250 to fix what they screwed up. This entire situation has been an absolute nightmare. Oh... and to top it all off they left cigarette ash in my floorboard, how nice of them.Update: found that the reason the fan wouldn't work is because when they pulled the dash out they just started cutting wires and didn't hook everything back up correctly (when I picked up the vehicle they told me the fan motor was out and it was because they cut the wires), found they had broken the part on the back of the temperature control knob and melted it then zip tied the cable to said part causing it to not work at all (the entire unit is $176 brand new, because you can't even buy just that piece that's broken), the airbags were left unplugged, the radio was left with the fuse out but even after putting one in it still doesn't work because I've lost a hot wire somewhere, the headlamp above your head in the cab no longer works either which runs off that same wire, also found that they didn't put antifreeze in the radiator instead they only put in pure water when I tested to see the strength of the antifreeze it raited at above 32F, also found that the radiator was stopped up and the hose was pulling a vacuum so I had to flush the radiator out 3 times before it started flowing correctly, both of those things cause me to still have to buy antifreeze to put back into the truck, also found a blown fuse for the cigarette lighter, and in the end I found out that they fried my radio and I had to entirely replace that as well.SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR ANY MECHANICAL WORK, THEY WILL LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE IN WORSE SHAPE THAN YOU BROUGHT IT IN. THEY SIMPLY HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING AT ALL!!!

First time going to this location, and was in and out within 30 minutes. I only went to get an oil change, was able to sit in my car like they do at Valvoline- without paying Valvoline prices.Less than $55 out the door for an F150 (extra quart of oil with this) with synthetic blend oil. These prices are unheard of this day in time- especially to be in and out within 30 minutes.Definitely will be back.

Had an o ring break after recent oil change while driving through Tenn. Oil was leaking. They don t normally work on cars like mine, but offered to do their best. They ended up needing to go to O Riley s to get new o ring & oil. Then they washed/cleaned my underside of 3 qts of oil I lost. They were kind, professional, great customer service and in my view, under charged me. They were the right people in the right place to save our vacation. Local Wendell steered us to where I presume the other locals know as being a top Notch shop. Thanks.

These mechanics have been caring for my vehicles for many years since Ali bought the business.They just did tire balance/rotation..oil change..A/C flush & system charge & break pedal repair(which I thought cool because I thought it was a brake light switch). These guys have been great and now dealer trips are fewer

The guy tried to price gouge me once before. I said I would never go back but I was desperate for a valve stem to be put in my wheel. I pulled up a few minutes before closing time (open sign still on). I asked if he could put in a valve stem for me, I had the wheel already dismounted from the vehicle. He told me no, it would be Monday and that he's not doing any more jobs today. I'm not a tire shop owner but I do know that putting a valve stem in a wheel takes about 10 minutes or less when the wheel is already off the vehicle

Absolutely ridiculous. Called twice for a used tire. Once in the morning and once on my way around 3 and asked if he had a tire he said yes come on. Get there he has me wait 30 minutes in the sun outside because there is no place for customers to wait because of the junk everywhere. Just to find out he doesn't have a tire and wanted me to buy a new tire. I suggest going to the shop up the street if don't want your time wasted.

I love these guys. They checked my car out when it died, helped me load it up onto a trailer to tow it home, and were courteous and friendly through the whole process. Didn't charge me a dime. Not to mention, they are just a cool crew of people. They were chill and honest with me and willing to go out of their way to help me. AND they got style! Such a great experience here! My husband and I were on the road from Nashville to Kentucky, and noticed one of our tires had a severe tire bubble. We decided to stop here, expecting it to be a lengthy (and expensive!) experience, but it was the opposite! Ali helped so much and found a replacement that would get us through the trip. It was quick and affordable, which was amazing. Thank you!!

I have had several oil changes done here, I've gotten my tires rotated and balanced, I bought a new set of tires from them and had my brakes done. They are always very friendly and very fair priced. I would recommend them to anyone!

Our battery went flat dead. I walked a short distance from the gas station to here and they had my battery-I knew the Y,M,&M of the car and took a pic of the battery tag. The mechanic drove me back, pulled it out, and installed the new one. Great customer service. And a good price. Saved our day. Full car.

These guys were very quick and detailed.I was amazed how courteous they were. They took me home while my car was being fixed and came back to pick me up when it was ready.It was refreshing to have a mechanic so interested in saving me money every where they could.Keep it up guys...great job!

This was my first time at Pleasant View Car Care. They balanced and rotated my tires quickly and the price was fair. However, the customer service was...weird. When I asked if I could wait inside (it was 90 degrees out and sunny and there were many empty chairs in the cash register area), the man sitting there said "You can stand outside, this area isn't open. We don't even have a bathroom for you here." I had not asked to use a bathroom so I'm not sure why that was an issue for him. So I complied and went outside to sweat in the sun for 30 minutes--I did take the liberty of sitting on the bench, I hope that was ok! I know I was told to stand! When they were finished with my car and I was allowed to come inside to pay, another gentleman rang me up and said, "I don't know why he told you to wait out in the hot sun." Not a terrible experience, but definitely different.

Before taking my car here, I took it somewhere else right down the street and they had my car for eight days just to tell me they couldn t find the problem and it seemed to be running fine. I don t think they even looked.I hardly got it home so I ended up taking it to this shop. I dropped the car off at 1:30, they called me back around 2:30, found a leak and had the part delivered, car finished by 4:30.It s runnig great!

Called and asked for a quote on tires. Got quoted for $50 more per tire than I was seeing for the same tires on the Walmart website.I simply asked if they were willing to be a bit more competitive on the price. The guy HUNG UP on me! Never had a small business treat me that way A simple "no" would've sufficed. I'll never do business at a place that treats potential customers as such. Good luck.

My daughter had her oil changed and before she got home her oil light came on. We checked her oil and there was none. I had it towed back to the business. After inspection, they found that the gasket on the oil filter was bad. The issue I had with this service is their attitude when I talked to them about the car and they continued to have bad attitudes throughout our entire interaction. There was no apology or compensation for paying $70 for an oil change that had a mistake. They fixed the issue, but only after we pushed for it. We will never be back.

Had a flat tire half way through our road trip and slowly rolled into Pleasant View Car Care. These awesome people patched/plugged our tire immediately so we could continue our drive! I can t thank them enough!! You put the A in amazing!!

To start , the owner Ali is a very nice guy who will try to help you get your car fixed even if it means recommending you to another shop. I've gotten tires there a couple times now and theyve been cheap and efficient used tires. Never had an issue yet. Seriously, if you have a mechanical issue with your vehicle, this is the place to go to get it checked out. Even as a DIY type of person , if there is anything I feel I can't do or don't have time to do, I will be coming here always.

Stopped to get a used tire put on, said 30 dollars by management, after the tire was put on , the tire changer charged me 40 dollars, had no choice but to pay it after having a blow out, the tire was in bad shape, no tread, the only one they had in the size I needed, I felt like I was taken advantage of, I won't be back. When locals treat you this way, you have no choose but to take your business elsewhere.

We take all our vehicles there for any work that needs doing. We've bought three vehicles there- so far!-- Including for our teenagers, where reliabilty is most important. I've had a flat on the interstate and they've stopped what they were doing to come remove the flat and put on a temporary tire-- at no charge-- so I could keep going 'til the one they ordered came in. Last spring break, we were shopping there for one of our boys-- we bought a great Nissan coupe that our boy LOVES-- and two families on their way from some northern state came to the shop. They were on the way to Florida and one of their SUVS had literally died. The transmission was ruined. The families had to stop the night before in Pleasant View. The shop owner was sooooo kind to them. He pulled a big SUV and got it ready for then while they waited- put new tires on it, did other stuff, I don't remember what-- but in the hour or so we were there there he saved the day for these two families and very obviously did not take advantage of their tough situation. I really could give a higher recommendation. I feel really lucky that there's a quality, trustworthy place like this right in my own home town.

Some of the most friendly people working here with an honest business model. They will be straightforward with you, and they won't try to push you toward something you don't need! Joe is my favorite, but everyone I met there was very personable and... smiling! I had a metal piece sever part of a condenser coil that rendered my a/c useless, and Joe knew what it probably was when I called him about it, got me in right away, and confirmed it with a picture to me of the problem. He even found the metal piece that was the culprit and showed me both pieces and explained how it worked and why it wasn't working. He let me know how much it would be, ordered the part and was ready to work on it the next day. Cool part, my husband was out of town, and I didn't want him to have to deal with it when he came back, so Joe helped me get everything done so that all I had to tell my husband when he got back was that there was a problem, but it's fixed because Joe took care of all of it for me. :) I will be taking all of our vehicles back there!!!!
