A hidden gem! As a widowed mother of a young child, reliable transportation is vital and money is tight. I noticed that something looked strange under my hood and I thought my clutch was going out and might need replaced. I called around for quotes and they came in the lowest and took time to explain why I was getting quotes ranging from $1,000 to $4,000. I brought it in and that very same day they called me back and explained what I was seeing under the hood and that it's not an issue. They easily could have taken advantage of my ignorance and made themselves some money, but they were honest, respectable and took the time to educate me. I wasn't even charged for the time they took to investigate the complaint and do some diagnostics. I can't recommend them enough and will definitely be taking my vehicles there from now on and suggesting them to friends!I got the referral from Wil's Towing which is another great local business that is honest and trustworthy.

These people treat you like family, not like an invoice. I have known Danny for many years from the North side of Broadway in Knoxville. I decided to drive out and see them, get an oil change and get them to look at my wife's care. I was met with a smile, they were able to get it pulled in after they finished the one they were working on. I had requested an oil change and tire rotation. About 10 minutes into the oil change, they come and let me know, that tire rotation was a waste of money as the tires were cupped and needed to be replaced (they also showed me as well). They do not sell tires, they would have made more money doing what I asked for, but instead the did what was right. It takes me 45 minutes to go there, but it is well worth the drive to get honest automotive work performed and leaving with the peace of mind that it was done right. Keep up the great work. I will be back.

While working in Oakridge, Tn my car sprung an antifreeze leak. This is an all too common issue with my Chevy Cruze. Well I live in Memphis, Tn and needed to drive back home without breaking down (it s happened before, very expensive tow)! I started googling places to fix my car and came across Covington s reviews. They seemed genuine. I decided to give it a try. When I say I was blown away by the kindness and professionalism of this place I mean absolutely just stunned. Not only did they figure out what was wrong with my car and fixed it in less than 30 min, THEY DIDNT CHARGE ME A DIME! Any and I do mean any place in Memphis would have charged me a minimum of $100 just to look at it and diagnose my car s problem, then they would have given me a long list of things that needed to be repaired (that really didn t need to be). If I lived here in Oakridge, Covingtons would have my business for life.

Shout out to the fellas over at Covington Family Car Care for taking care of me and getting my truck back to me quickly. Almost complete front end rebuild, dropped it off Thursday night and picked it up Saturday at 8. Extremely friendly customer experience and professional service. Take your vehicle to these guys for anything y all need! You won t be disappointed!

These guys have been my go to mechanics for years. Reliable, trustworthy, and reasonable prices. Followed them from their old shop to their new one here in oak ridge. It s a longer commute for me but always worth it.

If you want people who treat your car like it is one of their own, go here. They are wonderful people, fair pricing, and straightforward. They have serviced my cars for years when they worked in a shop in farragut. I have followed them to their new business because they are that good, fair, and friendly. They are honest, up front, and genuinely care about the people and vehicles they take care of. Update... still all the stars!!! I'm helping a friend fixing a car I had that had issues. I was given a fair price for what was an extensive amount of work. The guys here knowing my intents for the car went above and beyond and did a full inspection to make sure the car would be operational and safe, a blessing not a headache to my friend. The car had sat for a couple months under a tree and had that sticky tree junk all over. They took it a step further and pressure washed nearly all that off of there so the car wash would have a good chance of polishing her up. They really go beyond expectations and tho my repairs were costly, I felt the price was exceptionally fair and reasonable.They talk to you with respect and as a female, I never feel that brush off that some people do. They are more than happy to explain anything I have a question about.I literally can not say enough about this shop and it's people.These are the people i refer everyone I know to. They are honest and fair. From simple maintenance to more in depth issues, these are the ones to count on.Plus on a light hearted note... my family have named their cars... and they know the names lol.... from the doodlebus, mallalory, Stella, and the marshmallow

I was out in Oak Ridge running an errand today and while arriving at my initial destination, my radiator hose burst. I looked up using Google to see where nearby auto repair places were located and Covington Family Car Care showed up on my list. I gave them a call and found out they were less than a mile from where I broke down. I drove down there and Kane took care of my issue. Even though they weren't officially open yet, they were gracious and welcoming to me. What a great way to run a business. Within 30 minutes, my problem was fixed and I was back on the road. Even though it's out of the way from where I live in Knoxville, I would definitely make the trip back for future auto work. I highly recommend them for handling any car issues you may have!

They are trustworthy and won t recommend things that you don t need, helping you save money for when your car does truly need work. Kane is kind, helpful, and efficient. These guys were all working previously for an unnamed corporately owned repair shop in Knoxville...Then it was sold to a franchise group of owners who are currently running that business, that these guys had built a GREAT REPUTATION, into the ground...If you need anything done please go see these guys at Covington Family Car Care...It is worth the drive to know your car will be handled with care and respected like it was their own.
