2 cars in front of me for an oil change. Some guy tells the check in tech, tell everyone it is 6 hours. I m told 6 hour wait. I pull away as did the guy in front of me and behind. I shopped inside, returned 1 hour later to find no cars waiting. 3 attendants were standing around. I guess they were standing around on the clock with nothing to do. I drove somewhere else. Fed up with Walmart Newport oil Center

they are useless got there 3 hours before closing and no one in line and they couldn't find time too rotate tires they was just doing flats they should just close the shop if they cant fill a services they sold me

Best Walmart Auto Department around. They pay attention to detail and really help the customers. Good prices on tires too.

Add dish towards customer service has continued over the years to gradually get better and better and better the people that work there now are amazing to work with and are always helpful and go out of their way to make sure that you are taking care of and that your needs are met when you had no idea that they even served or sold products that you would like to have.

Brought the car in at 1:30 pm for an oil change, and 4 tires. That I ordered online. Called ahead, said there was 6 cars ahead of us, maybe 2 to 3 hour wait, no problem. I left 5 hours later. 2 guys in the garage. I don't blame them. I blame management. Guy in garage was cool. I remained cool. But they knew, I was there way too long. I like the idea, that Walmart is across the country, and if I have a problem, they are everywhere. No longer. Think that ended my Walmart tire buying days. I'll find other options. I hope Corporate here's of this. So sad. I wouldn't mess with these guys. Hope management gets fired. No one would even come to ring me out. Finally one of the guys in the garage, rang me out. They were short handed anyway. Just very disappointing. Good luck if you go there. You have been WARNED!

Sat for 20 minutes in my car after trying to talk to the man outside with no luck. Went inside and sat for another 20 minutes in which nobody ever came to the counter. Watched a few people get upset and leave for the same reason. They WILL NOT get my business.

Was getting new tires and had a slight issue come up. Manager (Josh) came and solved my issue quickly and the technician was awesome (I believe it was JT, I should have looked better!) All employees I talked to were helpful and professional. Great experience. Busy department for sure, and people need to learn patience and realize people are working hard here. Thanks for the great customer service

Expect to spend half of your day at this auto center, even for an oil change. Came in for a tire replacement and oil change and after 1.5 hours we were informed that the do all of the oil changes before anything else. Now who knows how long we wait for the tire replacement. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. DO NOT come here for any auto work. You get what you pay for... poor service and slow as molasses work. Desk staff was hardly ever at the desk to help anyone.

Visited 11-13-2020.Waited 20 minutes at the auto care counter before a lady finally showed up carrying up their lunch.I told them I needed a tire for my Honda. And they had me go back out to get the tire specs; so I lost my place in line. Came back in and I had to wait for several people to checkout carts full of store items.The original associate disappeared.. Then another associate told me they didn't carry the tire.So I wasted about 40 minutes after having a tire blowout away from home.

it s taken 5+ hours for them to change my tires, it s past their closing time now and they ve decided to accept another customer getting his tires changed and stop all work on my vehicle to attend to the other while i continue to wait after 7pm when i came in with my car before 3pm. *edit* i finally left with NO NEW TIRES ON MY CAR. it sat in their garage for HOURS and they didn t even touch it. they claimed they tried to contact me WHEN THEY DIDNT.

The ONLY reason I am giving this place a one star is if I don t system will not allow me to put in comments. This Wal-Mart AUTO center is horrible , customer service is the worst I have seen in the many years in the Automotive Repair Industry. I stood there for 10 minutes only to not get acknowledged by 2 technicians. Finally got help after about 15 minutes by someone and even that associate seemed lost. Not her fault she got thrown into this without even clocking yet.I ordered tires online , had them delivered to this Wal-Mart with the full intentions on getting them installed there. After my first 10 minute experience. And watching the technicians work. I felt uncomfortable having them even touch my car , so I took the tires elsewhere to get installed. Only reason I did not just return the tires I ordered is cause I had already taken the day off of work. Otherwise I should have just returned them and taken my business elsewhere.Walmart Auto Center avoid it at all costs , look at their reviews. Customer service is terrible.

Drive 45 minutes there at the crack of dawn to be in when they open only to find a sign that instead of opening at 7 am, they're not open until 8 am. I'm assuming staffing issues but that's been an issue since before the pandemic, you never know when you'll get service here. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. You've now made it worth paying more at a place that operates like they want or need your business.Service: Oil change

Had a car battery replaced. Three & a half hours!!! The crew was chatting alot of the time...throwing stuff at each other, goofing. There was a couple with a baby waiting too. Told me they'd been there for hours. The people are nice but the service sucks!!!

I just spent an hour an a half watching 5 guys not touch my truck. It was the first one in the bay for a simple oil change. If there is any possible way you can avoid having your car worked on here, stay away. Also when I went to pay the attendant made me wait an extended period browsing through and showing and discussing pictures on their phone with another person not in line.

Horrible, I mean I completely understand wait times. But over an hour to patch a tire when we re here at 8:45 with maybe two other cars out there and several workers! I seen more walking & talking then anything. Run a tighter ship manager you might make it further but you all don t care! Thanks for holding up my entire morning! Awful. Will NEVER come back to this hell hole again!Horrible service & horrible timing!

My husband brought in our Chevy Silverado for a tire repair. Arrived at 4 pm. He was due to be at work around 5 pm. At 6 pm came from our home in Greeneville to switch vehicles so he could go to work. It's 7:15 pm and I'm still waiting!!! They said they were looking for a different color vehicle. They could have just asked.

They do good work for a nice price but they need more employees because it takes too long. The Walmart manager should get these over worked guys some help. That would make the Auto Care shop great then.

I should have listened to the reviews, it was like 2 hours for a simple oil change! They are nice enough though. And I did go on a Saturday. But weren t that many cars.

It absolutely sucked I bought tires from an independent dealer for $167.00 cheeper for the same tire y'all are a rip off plus walmart was charging me 80 bucks for disposal of my old tires and Walmart wasn't even mounting my new tires I was taking them with me so yeah rip off

Tried to double charge me for my tires. After that didn't work they lost my keys for over 3 hours only to find them in the pocket of service manager.

Drove an hour out of the way on our trip because online inventory listed tires available in store to get there, wait for them to open 20 minutes late, and be told they have zero tires.

I can't rate this place low enough. We have been in contact with the store over inaccuracies and just blatant neglect and their only recourse was to refund our money. Not everyone in this town is looking for a refund. Some folks actually would like some policy changes to prevent what could be a catastrophic failure on their vehicle inadvertently putting their loved ones at risk for serious injury.

The Newport Walmart is a joke. Their cheap car batteries die before the year is up. Good luck trying to get an exchange. The staff is pathetic. It's better to go to autozone and buy a good battery. Walmart has fallen in quality and customer satisfaction. This store also goes thru alot of management because this store has no pride in its self

I have been here twice. Both times the crew told us that it was a bad place to bring our cars because of the long wait times. On the 2nd visit they refused to change my oil and told me to go to Newport pitstop. I did and those guys are great!

Just want to give a shout out the the young man behind the counter last week Tuesday or Wednesday not sure on the day , he was very friendly and helpful , seemed to care about his job

Tires are not bad but they charge for every little thing that they do im a walmart employee and I advise ya not to go here inhave nothing against the boys in the back its just that they overcharge and that some of the work ain't done worth a hoot took mine to Eastport Exxon and they hooked me right up all I paid for was the tire and waste fee and even the guy didn't have good things to say Eastport Exxon is one of the best places in town to get your tiresService: Tires

Took my 01 honda accord to get a new tire and had it put on. Went to eastport Exxon in Newport tn to get my tired switched to a new vehicle and the tire that he replaced he messed up 2 studs on them. The guy who was working on my vehicle was the one to inform me that the guy who put them on cross threaded them and the studs and lugnut broke off the car. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED

Lug and stud cross threaded courtesy of your tech that changed my tires. Shavings on my jeans that came out of the lug.

Buyer beware! Tires ordered and paid for were not tires installed. Manager never followed up on complaint. I purchased 350 tires and 200 were put on car, scam!
