Highly recommend this place!They were such a huge help when our truck broke down on our way to Kentucky. We showed up in the rain, 30 minutes before they closed. They diagnosed the issue and helped us get to the car rental shop. Reasonable cost, truthful and trustworthy place.Thanks for all your help!

I cannot thank this garage enough for helping our family last weekend. I was alone with my 6 kiddos, visiting family out of town and broke down halfway through our trip. We didn't know anyone or have anyway to figure out a plan. This shop immediately got us settled in their office, and went to work to diagnose and fix the problem. At any other shop, this would have taken all day, but here they scrambled and got us in and out of there in one hour. Treated us so well. I will always be thankful for this place!!

Have to give a real big shout out to David and crew! Helped this weary Texas traveler with a fast diagnosis and quick wheel hub replacement on our Cherokee. Dave and Sam diagnosed in a quick drive, ordered the part and had the fixed vehicle to us in two hours. Price was certainly inline with service provided and the best down to earth friendly folks. You just will not find better service.

I gave them 5 STARS because of Dave I asked him for a good set of tires and he got them at an awesome price YES I will be back for brake service and I suggest that YOU do the same for your automotive service

Very pleased with the service. I bought four new tires, a new battery and an oil change. The mechanics were very knowledgeable and informative, took care of everything and did it quickly. Highly recommend.

These guys were awesome!! We were traveling with our family- 2 cars and lost brakes in our jeep. They not only got us back on the road in 1.5hr but came and pick us up where we were off the exit! Amazing service, very impressive!! Thank you so much!!

I have a 2005 Ford F250 Diesel Crew Cab. The front "Shock Towers" had about rusted thru allowing the coil springs to buckle. I watched 5 Youtube videos & realized I could try it but a real mechanic could do it faster. I tried at least 30 repair shops & even the local Ford dealers & all I got was excuses how "we don't deal with rust", "that's too hard", "we can't warranty that repair", "we can't get the parts", blah, blah, blah. So I ordered all the parts online & kept asking around for a professional mechanic. My electrician suggested David the owner of Cosby Hywy. Service Center. I spoke with Mike & he said "Bring it in next Tuesday & we'll do it"! I showed up on time, they had a few emergencies to help other customers, then they jumped on my problem AS PROMISED & had it done by the next morning! Their prices were fair & worth it. I rounded up the Total Bill & also tipped Mike since he did most of the work. I had a GREAT experience with these professionals.

These guys are great guys. My brakes went out on me and they were super helpful and patient with me to explain everything so I understood everything going on along the way. Dropped my car off to them in the morning and by the afternoon they had my car ready for me to pick up! I live in Sevierville but will definitely be driving out to their shop for any needs I have with my car! Highly recommend them to anyone needing help with their car especially if you re like me and don't know much about cars!

We were from out of town and had a flat and they were able to plug the tire and get our car put back together very quickly with great service and a good price!

Throttle body on my van went out as I was leaving walmart at 11:00. Had to be in NC by 5pm. Limped van to their shop at 2mph. He checked codes , I went in to see if he had determined if it was throttle body. Said it would be 1pm before he could check. When I asked if it would be done in time for me to make my delivery, so I could let dispatch know. He became very angry and almost came off ladder, shouting at me and shaking his finger at me n accusing me of expecting him to move me ahead of everyone else. I told him that was not so and needed something to give dispatch a heads up to rescue load if I couldn't make it. That I had not asked my van to break down at his door. I left and limped across town to Advanced Auto. Got the part I needed and installed it myself. Made my delivery with 2 hours to spare. I'm 66 years old and he stressed my day. I do not recommend this place. Lot is so packed with autos you won't find a parking spot.

This place was amazing. Found a hole in the sidewall of our tire while vacationing in Gatlinburg. This was the nearest place to stop and they were fantastic. Immediately took the tire off and found a solution to get us home safely (all with the kids and dog in the car). Inexpensive and great customer service. Very grateful for these gentlemen!

I was traveling across the country and stopped to get gas. When I started my car back up, it made an awful sound. I looked for the nearest mechanic on Google maps. I called this shop, they answered quickly and said they would look at it. I drove it over, and they quickly diagnosed the problem. They got my car into a bay speedily and had me back on the road in two hours. I'm grateful for the speed and friendly service I experienced. The waiting room and restroom were clean and comfortable. I would recommend Cosby Highway Service Center to anyone who needs a good mechanic shop for a fair price.

Had a tire blowout on highway and insurance didn t cover our roadside assistance needs. Called up Cosby and they came to the rescue! They didn t have our tires in stock and went above and beyond to find and get the very unique tires we needed. Thank you for all your help and being so reasonable!

On our way home (ohio) from Florida, our check engine light came on at 6AM. While panicking, we pulled into this shop hoping they would be able to help us. They immediately helped us the second they opened and got our car fixed and back on the road within an hour. And for a very reasonable price. They definitely saved our day. Highly recommend!!

Wow- these guys blessed my farm in a great way. We were headed to North Carolina with a load of produce- Truck Broke down. These guys put me at the front of the line and had my truck up and running within 2 hours. Without their generosity we would have lost thousands of dollars worth of produce. I can't say enough good things about them. I've never considered sending cookies, cakes, and a meal to a mechanic shop before- but will be doing that soon! Thank you Guys. I had a caliper lock up on me while heading home from vacation. Started calling mechanics in the area and no one could get me in on the same day. We called Cosbys and they said they could do it but it would be a wait so we got over there and were greeted. They were extremely kind and honest about the time it would take and the price. Very grateful for these guys!

Walked in for an oil change. They put me up on the lift ahead of everyone since it was just an oil change. Friendly folk, fast service, good price.

My family and I were visiting the Smoky Mountains and my wife noticed one of her tires was wearing unevenly. Luckily we had two vehicles with us so we stopped by the repair shop to see if they could take a look at it. Long story short, they provided excellent and honest service at a more than reasonable rate. If I lived in the area they would definitely be my go to shop. If we ever have vehicle issues when we return to the area there is no doubt I will be a repeat customer.

I had to be towed to a Newport TN motel on a Friday night. I called David the next morning who brought a battery box to my car and charged it enough to drive it to his shop. Although he had several other important obligations and jobs that day, he repaired my Honda Accord by that afternoon which needed a new alternator. I think he s the best!

Our brakes went out at 8:45 pm, next morning we were at the shop by 7:45 and they took us right in. Immediately fixed the problems, and in 2 hrs were back on the road. They are good ole mtn boys, and did awesome work, and treated us very kindly. I would highly recommend them.

We had our truck serviced a few weeks ago. The rear shackles were broken. Dave did an excellent job on the repair. He even drove my husband back to our house, 30 minutes away, so he wouldn t have to sit and wait on the repair. He delivered the truck back to us as well. Excellent work, excellent service, excellent price. Thank you SO much!

I got a flat on the side of 40 and my Donuts valve stem was leaking as well. Limped it to their shop and was able to get it repaired.

I was on my way home from Fort Gordon, GA on a Sunday for a family emergency when my alternator went out. My tow brought me to Cosby's for service, but they were closed, however, there was a mechanic was there working on a vehicle. He was on his way out when we arrived, but spared his time to order the part I needed and fix it to get me back on the road to be with my wife in her time of loss. Thank you very much for what you did for me!!! It meant a lot to me and my wife!!! I wish there were more business like yours that are understanding and a customer first organization. Great, friendly service and I recommend to everyone!!! Thanks again!

Excellent service! We were on our way home from Savannah GA, driving to Ohio and our car died on the interstate. After checking the fluids and the most basic things we could think of, we quickly googled an automotive repair service and Cosby's popped up. We managed to get the car there, though it died several times, and they were able to diagnose the problem, being a bee in the mass air flow system. Easy fix and we were back on the road! We are so greatful for their willingness to pause their work and help us out! We highly recommend this place! Good, honest mechanics that know what they're doing!! Thank you guys so much!!

This gentleman is a life saver. I came in on a Friday afternoon at almost quitting time. Had a front wheel bearing go out on my F-250...four hours from home. They took me in, had me fixed in less than two hours and on my way. Great guys to do business with!!

GO HERE! Traveling from CA and noticed a softness and shimmy in our truck brakes. Called Westgate Tire Pros first but they we're honest & said couldn't get us in. Referred us to Dave at Cosby and set an appointment for the same day. After confirming repairs needed & parts were available they took the truck right in. Repairs were first rate and fast. Price was very reasonable. Rotated the tires for FREE. They even offered a ride back to our campground if I didn't want to wait. Highly recommend this place. Will use them again if needed.Btw If can't get an appointment at Cosby, go to Westgate Tire Pros. They were honest in saying, because temporarily short handed, that we should call Cosby. Glad we did.

Was traveling through and I thought I had a car issue. They were the only shop in town that would see my car the same day. Took their time looking it over, and they said it was OK (which I could not tell by myself). Best of all they did not charge me, which was such a blessing. Would go to them again!

Dave was very rude and unhelpful when I brought my jeep to him on Friday. He claimed it was a "bad day" and that because it was 4:30, he wouldn't work on my vehicle. Dave also blamed me for my brake problems by claiming that my emergency break was engaged the whole time. My father overheard him tell another mechanic that I was a "pedal pumper" and that he was in a hurry to go hunting. It is now Wednesday and Dave has still not fixed my jeep, so I do not recommend doing business with the Cosby Highway Service Center.

I only needed a hose put on and they had my car for 7 hours. I asked them when I dropped.it.off to.let me know the price before anything was done. They did not contact me but fixed it without letting me know anything.
