Rear ended someone and left a hole in my grille and bumper. My insurance AllState thankfully accepted Walter Colson for repairs. I was really worried that when I got my car back the paint was going to be off or I wasn t going to like how it looked. I was incredibly mistaken!I left my car at the shop dirty and in disrepair. Suzanne kept me updated while my car was in the shop. She was very sweet and communicable! About a week later I got my car back and was blown away at how great of a job they did! They even cleaned my car inside and out! I was so happy to see my car fixed and looking brand new. A huge shout out to Jet for making my car look like it came straight from the factory.

Walter Colson s body shop is such a wonderful neighborhood business. The customer service and the quality of the repairs is always excellent and we so appreciate how friendly all of the staff is. We have gone to them for various repairs and every time they are so kind and so transparent about how they plan to repair it and why. Absolutely recommend if you are ever in need of car repairs!

Walter Colson was hands one of the best if not the best company I have ever dealt with. The customer service was a delight to deal with and my car was repaired with perfection. If I could give more stars than 5, I would! If you are looking for great repairs and positive attitude, this is the place to go! I appreciate their business and would recommend them family and friends!

I have not had any work done on my car at this point, but I had a great interaction with Suzanne on the phone. I had been calling various shops around town trying to schedule an appointment to get an estimate after getting hit by another car. Like other shops, there was going to be a long wait time.Different from other shops, however, when I explained my situation to Suzanne she spoke to me like a real person and offered some really solid advice about how to speak to the insurer of the responsible party in order to get the best outcome. I can't speak to the quality of their work (because I haven't had any done at this point), but I can say that they employ thoughtful and honest people. Thank you, Suzanne!

Highly recommend. They recently worked on my Mazda6 after my wife was in a car accident and their work is absolutely top tier. The end result looks like nothing ever happened to the car. Their customer service is also exceptional. Very friendly, kept me informed throughout the whole process and they dealt with my insurance. I just dropped the car off and picked it up, super easy! The team at Colson's is so talented. They did an amazing job on my SUV after being in a wreck. Not only did they repair the damage and paint it perfectly, they did it way ahead of schedule. From the moment I called into their office I was treated kindly. I had several questions, because I live in a different state, but they came so highly recommended, I chose them. They were very patient with me and were so sweet and accommodating. recommend using! Walter and Susan are absolute professionals, but more importantly they're just really good people. Such hard working folks.

Great locally owned body shop! My car was damaged by a hit and run driver and State Farm had them on their vendor list. Great people to work with!

I went here for an estimate at the request of the insurance company. Upon arrival an associate did a visual inspection of my vehicle. I explained that I wasn t going to repair my vehicle at their shop because I couldn t wait 2 weeks for them to fix minor damage. We went inside and she explained to the owner I assume the lady that sits in the front office to the right what I wanted was just an estimate. The lady refused me the estimate because I wasn t getting my repairs done there. I assume estimates are free when you get your vehicle repaired at their shop.. considering what they charge for repairs it should be free..Anyway I felt like they were just interested in getting the money otherwise they wouldn t have refused the estimate.. I don t recommend!!!!

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Walter Colson Paint & Body shop recently, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing encounters I've had with a business. The utter discontent and disrespect I felt during my visit left me astounded and utterly dissatisfied.I initially approached this establishment because it came highly recommended by a close friend I trust. I arrived for an estimate and was told it had to be scheduled. I was then informed that the next available slot was nearly a month away. Despite the delay, I agreed to wait, hoping that the service would live up to the recommendation.Fast forward to the scheduled day, and I found myself at the shop as planned. I introduced myself to a lady with blonde hair and a limp, who checked the schedule across the room and confirmed my appointment. However, to my dismay, she nonchalantly informed me that their technician had already left for the day. It was as if my appointment had been forgotten or pushed aside.Exasperated, I reminded her that I had scheduled this appointment weeks ago and had been eagerly anticipating it. She acknowledged the mistake with a simple, half-hearted apology, "yeah, I know, sorry." Her indifferent attitude and lack of accountability only added to my frustration.She glanced out of the window at my car and, without even assessing the damage thoroughly, casually mentioned that it would cost several thousand dollars to repair. When I questioned if that was an official estimate, she merely shrugged and said she didn't know what to tell me. According to her, their previous secretary had quit, and somehow, my appointment had fallen through the cracks.It was infuriating to witness such a blatant lack of professionalism and customer care. I pointed out that I had done everything right by scheduling well in advance and having my name on their calendar for the day. Blaming a former employee for their failure to provide proper customer service was unacceptable.As I walked away from Walter Colson Paint & Body shop that day, I was steaming with anger. Unfortunately, this kind of poor customer service seems to be becoming more common these days, and businesses like this won't change unless we hold them accountable.In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Walter Colson Paint & Body shop to anyone. My experience was marked by disrespect, negligence, and an apparent lack of concern for customers. I hope my review serves as a cautionary tale for others, and I sincerely hope that this business reflects on its actions and works towards providing better service in the future.

I've used them a couple of times for my personal vehicles. They are extremely knowledgeable. They went out of their way to help me. Super friendly!!! It has a friendly, family atmosphere. I was shocked how quickly I got my vehicles back, and the quality was amazing. I have since recommended them to friends and family myself, and everyone just loves them. Will not be using them again. Set up an appointment for drop off. Explained that it would have to be towed. Waited a week to have our vehicle taken in only for it to be turned away. What was supposed to be something straight forward and easy has turned into a cluster. Then tried ti blame it all on our insurance company. Poor customer service at it s finest.

It s not often that you can call a collision repair shop and instead of them trying to sell you unnecessary services, they instead say this is something that you can really just fix via an auto detailing buff it out. Really appreciate their honesty and integrity and highly recommend. Thanks Susan!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Outstanding work, great communication, extremely fast repairs, when I went to pick up my car they had cleaned my entire messy interior. Loved the work they did on my car. It looked brand new. They even waxed it when it was fixed. Hope no more wrecks but I would definitely go to them & suggest anyone else to go as well. Staff was fantastic

Cosmetically the work was done properly last year. However a/c was never right after the service. Finally took it in and the mechanic informed me that they put only a minimal amount of refrigerant in the new compressor, leaving me on the hook for $275 to get the system serviced properly. Will be reaching out to my insurance company regarding this.

Staff were helpful and available throughout process of repair after accident. Work looks great. They also accommodated my schedule to return the car on Friday which enabled me to return rental car before weekend. Courtesy and service was always present.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

This place is amazing! They did a repair for me this week, and another one a few years back. They are the same today as they were back then. Kind and eager to please. They have a really great staff too! Super nice. Of course their work is impeccable, and they're honest. Hard to find someone these days that will pass on making money off of you, and advise you on installing a particular part yourself because it would save you money! That's exactly what happened to me there! They are just great, hard working folks. Highly recommend!!!

Great experience with this company, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I never write reviews, but I had to take time to review Walter Colson Paint and Body. This was my first time dealing with a body shop that wasn't a friend of the family, so I did some calling around first. This company had good (albeit few) reviews, and they were able to get my car in almost right away. I just got my car back yesterday and am very pleased with the work that they did for me. Repaired all damage as good as new and returned my car cleaned inside and out. Quick and easy experience with a great staff. I really hope that I never have to get body damage repaired again, but if I do, Walter Colson's will be my first call.

I had a dent in my driver's side fender, causing the door to have trouble opening. It's an old car, and I'm looking to sell it in the next few weeks, so needed a quick affordable fix vs the $1400 a caliber would charge to replace the fender, paint, etc.I pulled up, they saw me right away. The woman at the front desk thought that the repairman could probably just take a crowbar and pop out the dent. He came right out, and sure enough, 30 seconds later, was fixed! Door works well, and no further scratches in the process.I asked what I could pay them, and they told me not to worry about it. They were a family owned business, and just the right thing to do.I will certainly bring my vehicle into their shop next time I need to, and recommend them to anybody around!Service: Body & Trim

I've used Walter Colson on a couple occasions for body and paint work and I've been very pleased with the craftsmanship. I appreciate Walter explaining exactly how the repairs would be done (I had a dent and scratch in a tricky spot) when I was receiving my estimate. I felt very comfortable leaving my car in their hands, knowing the repairs would be done right. They were able to get me in quickly and made the process very easy.

I took my car to Walter Colson Paint & Body after a collision I had with an 18 wheeler. Not only were they able to completely repair the damages my car had from the crash ( I have a 2012 Nissan Altima), but they detailed the inside of my car as well. They also let me use one of their rental cars for free until my car was repaired. Both Susan and Meredith were great to work with and very professional. My car looks better than it did before my accident! I'll definitely be returning.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Walter Colson s did a phenomenal job repairing my car. The only issue I had was when I went to fill up my car, there was still tape separating the door from the gas cap. Highly recommend for any repairs. Just make sure they take off ALL the tape if you have repairs done on the side the gas door is on.
