Simpson s Auto Repair is the best in town! My transmission went out right before a family trip and the local Chevy dealership told us the transmission was on back order and it would take a week to come in and then a few more days to put it in. I called Phil and his team and they found the transmission in stock and had my car fixed in less than 3 days so we could drive it on vacation. They went above and beyond to take care of us and for that reason they will have our business forever. Don t hesitate to use these guys, they are the most communicative, honest and caring shops out there!!

Work has me run our trucks by these guys every few weeks. The maintenance and repairs are always timely, the guys there are actual decent people, there's free coffee (it makes me happier than I'd expect it to), and I've never come across something that was done improperly. Only con is the parking is rough, but they'll even help you with that!Having been there over and over, I see them as a safe bet if you're looking for a new mechanic.

I went in because all the lights in my car turned on and they were able to fit me in the same day! They were awesome and very kind. As a woman, it can be scary going to an auto shop because you have no idea what you re going to get and if they re going to up charge you. They were quick, informative, and I felt safe there. Definitely will be going back with all my car needs!

Went in to get brake work done and that was great. After a few weeks, it sounded like the new brakes were grinding and so I brought the car back in because it was under warranty and wanted them to check to see if their was any problem with the brakes to be safe.Was told the brakes were fine and that it might be my rear diff going out or something along those lines. They wanted $1100 just to take it out to see if there was an issue with it and if it was, $4200 would be the price to pay for a new diff since they apparently only replace the whole thing and not what might the the broken part of it.Went to a dealership for a second opinion and they said the rear diff is in excellent condition and the only problem was brake dust and road dirt causing the noise, saving me upwards of $4200 if I replaced the rear diff. Don t let them tell you they have to take the whole rear diff out to check it when they can look at the fluid without dropping it.

I give Simpson's Auto Repair 5+ Stars! My daughter moved to Nashville for college. When her car needed immediate repairs, I was stressed about finding an honest, transparent, and kind mechanic/ auto repair business like the one we have back home. I looked up reviews and decided on Simpson's based on all the positive feedback online. Simpson's Auto Repair DID NOT disappoint. They have lived up to all of the reviews online, plus much more! All the gentlemen I have talked to over the phone have always been fantastic communicators, honest, kind, and understanding. They have been professional and kind to my daughter in person, as well. She feels safe and comfortable when dropping off and picking up her car. They explain everything in detail and really do care about helping you have peace of mind with your car repairs. We have now taken her car there several times, and the customer service and repairs are top-notch every time. I feel so blessed to have found such an amazing auto repair business that feels like family. I appreciate the good people and service at Simpson's Auto Repair. This type of kindness and service is hard to find. I highly recommend Simpson's for ALL your future auto maintenance and repairs. They truly are amazing!

My friend referred me here because he had a great experience, and I m glad he did because this is the BEST auto shop I ve ever been to! It s hard to find a trusted auto shop nowadays, but at Simpson s Auto Repair, I can assure you that the technicians are trustworthy! On top of being trustworthy, they are extremely kind and communicative. If you re looking for somewhere in Nashville to get your car fixed, look no further!

I've visited Simpson's Auto Repair on numerous occasions since moving to Nashville and they have been a godsend! With a car that often has issues, I was worried about finding a fair, helpful, and trustworthy mechanic. Simpson's has proven to be all of that and more. The other week, I brought my car in incredibly last minute on a Friday at 4:45pm. My TPMS light came on and my tire was audibly leaking air. I pulled right up to the shop and they immediately did a free tire repair for me. I waited for less than 5 minutes and then it was all patched up and I was good to get back on the road. They truly care about their customers and have shown me amazing service and I cannot recommend them enough!!! THE BEST! Simpson s took amazing care of me putting my engine splash shield back on after an unfortunate mishap on the interstate on my way into work. Simpson s let me bring my car by, got me in and out in under 30 minutes, and didn t charge me a dime. They made what started out to be a pretty lousy day so much better and I cannot thank them enough!

My Jeep stopped unexpectedly on the way to work... Simpsons helped me find a tow and took it into the shop quickly. They made it so easy with a texted link to the estimate and notifications when the Jeep was ready. Got me back on the road quickly! Clean shop and friendly service too.

The BEST auto-mechanic shop for young women in Nashville. Ask for Tony! I researched mechanic shops for some repairs on my 8 year old Subaru and chose Simpson's Auto Repair because they had the best/most reviews, best prices AND they were willing to easily send me a quote over the phone for a repair on something I specifically wanted to know the price of; other shops around town refused to give me an estimate for the same work without bringing my car in. I was treated warmly & respectfully by the men in the shop. They took the time to explain to me what was most needed that day. They also helped me get an Uber home while they repaired my car - awesome service! I will be back & I will be letting every other transplant I know in Nashville that THIS is the place to bring your vehicle.

I have been taking my vehicles here for 2 or 3 years now, and wouldn t dream of taking them anywhere else for servicing and repairs. They have worked on 2 different trucks of mine, my wife s SUV, and my daughter s Jeep. They are professional, friendly, reliable, and always resolve whatever the issue is with our vehicles. Also, they very reasonably priced and don t nickel and dime you for everything they can like some places will. I trust them completely to take care of our vehicles, and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

Outstanding Service! This is the only auto shop I trust in Nashville. Each time they are so kind and helpful. I recently brought my car in to get a broken bolt removed from my license plate. It was fixed right away. Great experience every time!

I recently brought my car to simpsons to have my brakes checked out. They were very flexible to my schedule and allowed me to drop my car off for the day while I went to work. They called me immediately after checking out my vehicle and let me know my brakes were good and that nothing needed to be done yet. They did not charge me anything for this and they didn t try to sell me on other things like most repair shops do just to make money. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle here for any repairs in the future!

Right now you re reading reviews, wondering where to take your car. This should guide your decision. We don t know each other and I have no interest in making a strangers life more difficult. Being new to the area, I was referred by someone who lives for nice cars. He recommended Simpsons. Best recommendation ever. The service is way above and beyond what you re hoping for. Tony and crew are straight up stars, excellent at what they do and total pros. Any car I own and love in Nashville will never be touched by anyone but Simpsons. We all need a great doctor, an amazing accountant and the best place to take your car when you need it done right. A crew with integrity who have got your back. Go find your doctor and accountant. You ve just found Simpsons, you re gonna be fine.

I at one time would do my own simple services and repairs, but broke my back 20 years ago and that ended my diy.I own a 22 year old Crown Victoria that didn t have any problems until 18 months ago. Then one thing after another needed service or replacement, some on the high side.After 18 months of this or that, I m around 8.5K invested in my beloved Ford and all done at Simpson s.I trust these men implicitly to get it done right and at a fair price. No upsell whatsoever, unless a real problem is discovered. I had an issue with a bad power steering unit they replaced, part was defective and they stood behind it 100%. I come all the way in from Murfreesboro which is highly inconvenient, but l wouldn t even consider going anywhere else.Jim, Tony and Drew who work the service counter and phones are first rate guys. If they don t have an immediate answer to a question, it s forthcoming rather quickly.

Fast work and Great Job!My Granddaughter has used Simpson Auto Repair for 10 yrs + and highly recommended them to us. We were very pleased with their efficiency and professionalism. I desperately needed brakes and dreaded being told it would take weeks to get on schedule and I'd be without my car for a few days. I showed up for my 7:30a appt and was pleased to hear they could Repair them today. I was impressed that they were completed in less than 2 hours! I could not have asked for better. They are GREAT communicators- I was given an overview of all possible outcomes before agreeing to the repair. They fixed it quickly and sent an Uber to pick me up when it was ready. My friend recommended them to me and I now recommend them to you!

I had the pleasure of going to Simpson s for 6 years while I lived in Nashville. Absolutely the best guys, service, and prices available. They re so, SO nice. Of all the things I miss about Tennessee, taking my car there when I inevitably did something ridiculous to it is at the top of my list. And I loved Nashville, so that s saying a lot. Save yourself the time and heartache and just use them. You won t regret it.

The gentlemen at Simpson s who helped me out are truly wonderful! My check engine light came on the day before I was supposed to travel several states away for a highly anticipated reunion with my friends the next morning. They initially told me they could fix what needed to be fixed by the following evening, but when I asked if there was any possible way I d be able to make it on my trip in the morning, they were EXTREMELY accommodating to my situation and had my car fixed only a few hours later! I am so thankful for their kindness, hospitality, and diligent work (and my friends who I ll now get to see are grateful as well)!! As an out of towner, not knowing where to take your car for service can be super stressful. I was recommended to Simpson's by a friend and cannot say enough good things about them. The team is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and they've handled many repairs and services on my car for a fraction of the price that the Mercedes dealership charges. Highly recommend!

I'm not someone who usually posts poor reviews, but I had a very bad experience. Not only was I overcharged for parts, they didn't tell me pricing correctly. They continued to add more things they wanted to work on beyond what I came in for. While I don't think they were trying to fix things that weren't broken, They didn't get the full price up front. They broke it up into pieces even when I asked what the full amount would be. I showed up at the shop and they tried to charge me $700 more than what I was quoted and said it must have been a "miscommunication". Well he adjusted the price down a little bit, I still ended up paying a lot more than I had anticipated. I will not be coming back.

Honest & fair pricing. I came in for one thing, had an inspection done and it was reccomended that I tackle another issue I was already aware of first. This other issue was a safety concern and the costs of both issues were equivalent. I was working on a budget so safety first. I feel they did a thorough job with same day service, Tony has excellent customer service and great communication. I also appreciate the upfront pricing.

Simpson s Auto Repair honestly is the most professional auto service I ve ever dealt with. When our car broke down I called and spoke with Jim Alley and he walked me through having our car towed to their facility and personally took full responsibility with determining from start to finish a complex repair on our car. I agreed to a very expensive repair that they easily could have been fixed long enough for them to make a lot of money. Instead as they started work on the car, Jim called me and said their company was honest and transparent and that even though they could fix my car, they advised me it would be risky that I wouldn t have future problems. I took his advice not to proceed, and they didn t charge for the work they did to determine what was wrong, which took extensive time and labor. At that point Jim said they would also take care of having it towed away and junked without any charge. Although they could have charged me several thousand dollar, they chose honesty and integrity. This is a rare auto repair business you can trust and depend on being up front and honest. Jim Alley and Simpson s Auto Repair was a Godsend for our family. My review is not an advertisement and I was not compensated in any way. The folks at Simpson s have gone above and beyond for me. First, they squeezed in my girlfriends car in their busy schedule to get new brakes on her car at a great price (that same day)! Then, I got a flat tire from a nail & they had everything repaired and replaced within 15 minutes and I was out the door (without spending a dime). The best part was the customer service! They are positive, patient, and don t scam you. Highly recommend these guys for your auto repair needs.Service: Tires
