John was on time, very friendly and very professional! He replaced my fuel pump in a short amount of time for a good price. I have found my go to mechanic and highly recommend him for any mechanical work you may need on you car. 5 stars!!

John sure did save my rear end! I live in Central Illinois and I was traveling down to Alabama to see family when I suddenly broke down with an alternator failure just north of Nashville. I am lucky enough to have some friends in town who let me bring my car there.After an attempt to replace the alternator myself, I finally admitted defeat (Stay away from European cars! lol) and called John. He asked me for details and came out that day to take a look and was able to fit me in the following day. He was prompt, communicative, and extremely quick! He got the work done in no time at all and was off to his next job.I attempted to get the car started (as I needed to put some bits and bobs back on the car after the alternator was installed that I had removed prior to John coming by!) and ran into issues with having it crank but not start. Knowing I was from out of town and attempting to get home, John called me that evening, to ask how things went and if I had been able to get going. When he heard I was unable to get the car started, he told me he would come by the next day to take a look for me! Completely stand-up guy and true to his word. He came by the following day (WHILE NOT FEELING WELL!), got me running and refused to let me pay him anything else and kept in touch as I was heading home.I owe the positive outcome of this whole endeavor completely to John and his help. On top of that, his prices are FAR below what I was quoted from multiple other places. You absolutely cannot go wrong using Roberts Mobile Mechanics for any of your car repair needs!

John is a lifesaver!! He came to my house during a really busy time when my car wouldn't start following the snowstorm. He ran diagnostics and quickly figured out the issue, which was light years from what I expected the problem would be. Saved me a TON of money and was a pleasure to work with - so so knowledgable! Highly recommended, the only mechanic I m calling in Nashville from now on.

Long story short , I m from out town & my alternator suddenly had went out. Of course my insurance company took their sweet precious time . So , I googled mobile mechanics and Roberts mobile mechanic was the first to pop up . I rolled the dice & made the call. The professionalism displayed, aided in tempering my mood . 45 minutes later , John pulled up and got to work . Thank you !!!!!Service: Auto battery replacement

He is a super nice guy! But after you pay his $30 pre-fee, and he goes to a site his prices are absorbently expensive. He wanted $541 to change a $50 tensioner and $30 serpentine belt. And then tries to justify his $100 an hour labor rate when he s a mobile mechanic. He tries to justify it through his insurance cost and things like that which are absolutely untrue and he s robbing people who need services rendered. Also beware of his hidden fees.To answer his response , its obvious his justification still stands and on the invoice he sends .it will say , other fees and not sure what other fees are on the upside of 85$ outside of labor , a 30$ fee already paid, and excluding parts . and after paying his invoice charge of 117$ to go assess what we told him he was going to see already, and declined his offer to fix the vehicle .he decides to call back several times because of the review left on google . I had to tell him there was no need for further contact.

John is a must to use. My 2015 was stalling and cutting off. After multiple trips to Goodyear/Firestone, a new battery, a new maf sensory, a new map sensor, new plugs and finally them deciding in was the high pressure fuel pump (which went on for over a month) and by this time my car wouldn't start to even bring it back in. I called John. Within a couple hrs he discovered 2 manifold bolts backed out. Low and behold I'm fixed. He's diffently worth his time.Service: Exhaust

John is one of the most professional ,friendly, knowledgeable , mechanics I have ever experienced. I was travelling broke down in the evening and was quite a way out of his service area. He came anyway and changed out my alternator. I went on my way the next day. John called and texted and checked on my journey. I broke down again with the same issue in Illinois. Went to another mechanic there and he got it going again. Decided to cancel my trip turned around to drive the 900 miles back...started to have issues again...John was in contact the whole time. Got back to the original breakdown point. Figured out O'Reilly Auto parts sold me a faulty alternator...( I bought the alternator there and John put it on) ... O'Reilly's tried to blame the problem on other sources. John called them and they finally agreed it was their faulty part. John is replacing the faulty alternator as soon as they get a new one in. John has gone above and beyond what most mechanics would do. I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants a good caring mechanic who takes pride in his work. Reviews are accurate. This was the simplest , most stress free experience I ve ever had with a mechanic. I highly recommend and would use again.Update: called him back a year later his website says he does tires. He does not do tires y all.Service: Electrical

John is an excellent mechanic. I have a car the has mysterious electrical issues that prevents my computer from connecting to power which prevents it from starting. I have replaced a long list of parts as per the scanning tool but nothing helped. John did a great deal of research before showing up. John committed 11 hours looking into the issue once he arrived. John is the third person to attempt the issue. He had success getting it running and it ran great., which I have tried to do for 3 months and hundreds of hours of frustration However we could not get it to restart again. He went home and researched more and returned with new tricks. We were still unsuccessful, but not from a lack of trying. He left yesterday scratching his head and went home to do more research.This is a very difficult issue to pin down and is commonly intermittent in Saturn's. I really appreciate his time and dedication to helping me get this on the road no other mobile mechanic would take on this job. They want simple installations that net them a greater profit. He has taken this issue on as a personal challenge, and he loves a challenge. John is knowledgeable, dedicated to customer satisfaction, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs a mobile mechanic. Great job John. 5 stars!!!Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Luckily I only needed a jump, but I wasn't sure why my car wouldn't start. Turns out the auto-shutoff stopped working on my lights and they drained my battery. He came by only 30 min after I called and easily got it sorted.Was super friendly and helpful and will be first one I call if anything happens again!Service: Battery

John met me first thing in the morning, in a parking lot in downtown Nashville where my alternator had gone out. He was quick, honest and very professional. I also had a fuse that blew when the alternator went out and John called around looking for the fuse and had to drive to a Honda dealership to get the correct one. He stayed with me to make sure I didn t have any issues with the security codes on my radio and rear entertainment system. He literally went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me back on the road to our family vacation in Gatlinburg. John charged exactly what he quoted in the beginning. He was great about communicating and keeping me updated. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. I was back on the road in less than 2 hrs! Unbelievable service! Truly a experience!!

I highly recommend! I was stranded at work late on a Friday and Mr. Roberts came to my rescue! He kept me updated on his progress to my destination and had a great attitude even though it was close to closing time. He tested the car thoroughly and didn't just guess at the issue. He replaced my starter and got me on my way. Great mechanic who is professional and extremely fair on his prices!

Honest, no-nonsense, reasonably priced. John arrived on-time and fixed my car quickly. I also appreciated that he was easy to get a hold of when I had to change the time our previously scheduled appointment. Highly recommended!

I was quoted 2200 for a spark plug and coil pack change by the Cadillac dealership in Brentwood. I found Roberts Mechanic on google and took a leap of faith and am glad I did. He showed up quickly, was friendly and listened to my description of the issue and took parts I ordered online. So not only did I save big on the labor I also got to use top of the line parts for a job that left my car feeling like new again. I just recommended him to a coworker of mine and I can't speak highly enough about the service. A1 mechanic.

Was 300 miles away from home when my water pump decided to give out on a Sunday! Called Roberts Mobile Mechanics and he scheduled me for first thing the next morning. He showed up on time, had all the tools and equipment to get the job done and got me back up and running in a jiffy! Super job! Reasonable rates! I Highly recommend him! I travel to Nashville quite often and will give him a call anytime I have an issue with one of my vehicles. I gave his name and number to all my family members in the area also and will recommend him to all my friends.

Robert was supposed to fix my car Saturday but was able to come Friday which workout great for both of us.Robert cane to my house and changed my control arms, ball joints, and stabilizer on my 2003 Honda Civic. He brought all the necessary tools and some and use quality grease in my car parts.Robert did a fantastic job and now my car drives better then ever.I made sure he had plenty of water because it was hot that mid morning.Highly recommended I will be using him in the future for more work if needed.

My fuel pump went out in my 1996 Ford Explorer, and it would not start and was stranded at my apartment building. I didn't want to tow it to the Ford dealer just to get ripped off with a $1000 repair, so I Googled "Mobile Mechanics" and Roberts Mobile Mechanics came up on the search and had a very high rating. I called John, and he gave me an estimate that I thought was very fair. We scheduled an appointment to complete the repairs, and John showed up at my apartment on time, which I thought was a great start to the repair process, since my time is very valuable. He thoroughly tested the fuel pump after he removed it to confirm that was indeed the issue with my truck. He was very fast with the removal and replacement of the fuel pump while simultaneously performing top-notch work. Since I only bought the fuel pump itself, instead of the complete assembly, John spliced my wires (in a professional manner with the appropriate parts) since the previous wires on my old pump were frayed badly. Afterwards, he tested the pump before he installed it into the gas tank to ensure the proper continuity and connectivity of the newly spliced wires and to make sure it worked properly, as well. In my opinion, the repair from start to finish, was very professionally completed and within the time John quoted me. If I happen to need a mechanic service in the future, I will definitely call John again.

I found my go-to mechanic in Nashville! My car died on me & I didn't have a lot of money to get it fixed, much less have it towed to a shop. John was able to come to me, diagnose the problem, drive me to the parts store to pick up the part he needed, & get it fixed within an hour! And although I didn't get a quote from a brick & mortar shop, I am convinced it would have been much more expensive. Super nice guy too! Thank you so much, John! I am so glad there are still honest & reliable humans in the world!

We had an issues with the alternator and timing belt. Estimate from Volvo of Nashville was about $2500. John was able to do it for a little under $900. Plus, he comes to your house to do it.........what's better than that??Excellent work - would definitely use him again. Just a note on payment - he charges extra for credit card payments (for the fees he incurs). So if you want to save some money, be sure to have cash.

The service I received was absolutely better than any chain stores I've previously dealt with and the price was surprisingly low. If you want honesty and dependable go with this company. I am a new resident to Music City and I have found a few things hard to find. 1. is a new Barbershop and 2. is a good mechanic. We found Roberts and couldn't be happier with the service. My wife's Hyundai needed a heater blend door control. The first shop we took it to said they needed diagnostic because it was likely an electrical problem. 99% of the time this is a control issue not electric. I bit my tongue and left. Robert's called when they said they would, they arrived when they said they would, they did clean work and double checked before they left. The price was RIGHT!!!! They charged me well below what I had expected and not much more than the diagnostic recommendation at the National Chain. Did I mention that they also performed a front brake job while they were there??? You get the parts and Robert's is your new mechanic...just like they have become mine. I hope I don't see them often...but if I do I feel confident.

I cannot say enough good things about the service I received.A cold, rainy Friday morning, stranded at home with a dead alternator. Mr. Roberts showed up, had the dead alternator removed within the hour, gave me a lift to Autozone to purchase the replacement, and had the new alternator in place within fifteen minutes.Extremely friendly, extremely understanding, extremely professional.

My wife's car didn't start and it was stranded at our Church in Antioch. I googled Moble Mechanic and found Roberts Mobile Mechanic I thought the problem was the battery but wasn't sure. John came tested the battery and discovered my issue was the Alternator he removed all the housing and equipment surrounding (which was a lot) the Alternator before I could go to auto repair store to pick up the replacement. When I returned about 10 min later he had everything remove and was ready for the replacement part to installed. Repaired my car very fast I was very satisfied he charged a very fair fee. I highly recommend Robert Mobile Mechanic and will use again!!

I called John on a Sunday evening to come out that Tuesday to replace some belts and brake rotors with parts I already had. I ended up paying $150, which was very fair for the two hours of labor (other shops quote well over $400, including parts).While he was there, John also looked at a check engine light for me to see if he could fix what appeared to be minor electrical problems. He did not have the right tools for this particular job but he did not charge me for the time he spent looking into the issue and he referred me to a good shop.I certainly recommend John and his service.

Worst experience I ve ever only thing done was a diagnosis never using these people again technician complained because I didn t explain the issues I was having with my Re in the right way. Complained about the amount of codes said he had other jobs that he had to go to complained about the distance he had to drive.

Let me say I went to Firestone 7/14 and was not satisfied with their service, googled mechanics in Nashville, he was the top rated. The fact that he came to you made it better for me. Great guy, great mechanic, after he changed my water pump and thermostat, we noticed I was missing a compressor belt, mind you its 100 degrees outside so my A/C hasn't been working, he followed me to the nearest auto store and replaced it there. He's a A1 mechanic, I'm not using anyone else!!!
