Our car broke down on Mother s Day and we were able to get it towed to J&E the following morning and they were very prompt to look at it and try to figure out what was going on. Mike ensured all options were looked at and even called a locksmith to see if the keys were the issue. Everyone was super friendly and although our issue was beyond their help, they allowed us to keep our car there until we could get it towed home the following day. Super nice and understanding guys and very knowledgeable about vehicles!

Genuinely unapologetically awful customer service. My car sat in their lot for two full weeks and they didn t even run the code generator on it. Two weeks, and nothing. Take your car elsewhere. These people just don t care.

I recommend them to everyone I know, especially single women who don t know much about the finer points of car repair. Incredible service! They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely quick with their service. J&E is a MUCH better option than taking your car to a dealership where you'll be over-charged and have week wait times. They have been able to help me out 2 separate times when I though my car going to be unfixable. They've earned my business in the future and I have recommended them to friends in the area.

Cannot say enough good things about my experience here. My wife and daughter were in Nashville for college orientation when they had major car problems. They were picked up within the hour and had the repairs completed within 2 day while other places were stating a week or more. It is good to know we have a place we trust and will be using for the next 4 years.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C replacement

Never got passed the phone call. Asked for a price to perform an engine swap on a vehicle and the person on the other line was less than happy to take the call. The best was when he didn t quite hang up the phone and I could hear him throwing a fit. You could have saved us time and said that you didn t want to do the job! I called a local shop and they were externally pleasant. Hopefully this business has better mechanic skills than customer interaction.

I've only had good experiences. They seem genuine. I've had two vehicles in for two or three different repairs. They called me when/as things developed and kept me informed about time and cost. They have an overnight drop. Once I took a blazer in for repair and asked them to change the fuel filter while they had it as well because I hadn't been able to get it loose myself. They called and told me the line was completely fused. They suggested that since it wasn't giving me problems I could just leave it rather than replace it and the line attached to it since it was attached to the fuel pump and would have been a lot more expensive and time consuming. They also gave me a very thorough estimate on a big job free of cost. They are very friendly and down to earth. I have price compared all work I've had done there and it has been extremely competitive.

Can't recommend these guys enough, got in a tight spot and needed some work done on my 4Runner and they did it fast. Super reasonable estimate on work hours and affordable parts. Great experience! I moved here from out of state, and was nervous to find the right mechanic. I had a slight emergency and had my car towed to J & E. I was worried as I was not able to bring my car in personally and tell them what had been going on. There were quick, very honest, and had very fair pricing. They took great care of my car, and got the job done quickly! The guys kept us in the loop, and were very friendly. I will most definitely be bringing my car here for any future troubles.

Easily one of the best shops I've ever been to. That might sound hyperbolic, but you be the judge based off of my anecdote below:I went to Firestone to assess a problem I was having with my care shuddering a bit on the freeway. After re-balancing, they told me I also had a broken rear sway bar and my rear struts needed to be replaced. They quoted me just north of $1,100.00. Naturally, I decided to take my car for a second opinion. The shop I normally go doesn't deal with these types of issues, so they recommended I go to J & E. After a few hours, they called me to let me know neither of the problems Firestone was compelling me to fix were that big of an issue since my car was at 210,000 miles (rational thought! How refreshing!), and diagnosed the problem as something completely different that could be solved by replacing my back tires. I do plan on doing that next.The best part is not even that he diagnosed the issue or saved me from being robbed of over $1K, but rather that he didn't even ask for any money in return.I felt the least I could do in terms of repayment was to write him a good review. So here it is.This shop rocks. They are honest, competent, and kind. You should definitely give them your business.

I stopped by with a stuck brake caliper on my Jeep I asked how much would it be to replace the caliper. They said they had to look at it first , when they pulled it in they said I needed new brake lines, and it would be a couple hundred bucks.It was then I realized these guys don t know what there doing.I went down the street to autozone and bought a caliper for $30 and changed it in the parking lot. Haven t had an issue with my brakes since.I would not recommend this placeThey were rude, not knowledgeable, and left grease and dirt inside my Jeep.

These guys are great. I was trying to buy a new car that had seen a lot of interest from other buyers so I needed it to get checked out quickly. My normal mechanic was backed up and it was the Friday before a holiday weekend so he was short. He recommended J&E as an alternative. These guys worked me in quickly, and within a couple minutes had determined that the car had been wrecked and there had been some sort of catastrophic power failure in the car. Needless to say, they saved me from making a terrible mistake. Thanks guys. I recommend highly.

They've done it again!I took my vehicle in for a manifold repair as I had a crack in each. They repaired the first one, were $100 under their estimate, and finished on time. There was rubbing and I took it back and they put screws in the flap rubbing no charge. They told m that I would need to get the other one replaced soon. 2 weeks later boom again I needed to come back. This time they finished earlier than expected, it was the same price, and they surely secured a customer. Honest quality work for literally $150-$400 less than the 10+ estimates I called around town for.

I recently took my car to J&E auto to work on my brakes. I had been to another shop where I was told I needed all new brakes and rotors at a high cost. I wanted a second opinion, thinking that something else had been going on because my brakes were not old enough to see the damage that was done. Took my car over to the folks at J&E where they noticed my calipers were bad, causing the brakes and rotors to rust out. Changing just the brakes and rotors, we would see the same problem in the near future. J&E caught the root of the problem and replaced brake pads, rotors and calipers at the same cost I was quoted for just brake pads and rotors at another shop. Thankful for their honesty and down to earth personalities. They have a trusted customer in us. Thanks J&E!

I was able to take my car in the next morning. I was having issues with my brake lights that other shops said they couldn t fix. I can't recommend these guys enough. I've just moved to the area and had a sudden and urgent car issue - I dropped my car off around 3:45PM and by 4:30 they called to tell me I could pick it up. I'm always afraid of being taken advantage of for my lack of car knowledge, but they were honest and great to work with, and they didn't try to upsell me on products or repairs. Thank you guys!

Brought my vehicle and my GF's in. Both vehicle were serviced promptly. Both procedures were not only done for considerably less than i was quoted by other garages and even less than quoted by Jerry. There's a very good reason I've been going to J and E for service for 15 years.

I had my Buick Enclave towed to J&E Automotive from Cool Springs because they take such great care of my vehicle and of me. They are the best. Wouldn't take it anywhere else!!!

They have NEW OWNERS!! DONT GO THERE, They have AWFUL customer service and will NOT inform you of ownership change and have you thinking its the samr staff. My huband got his Radiator fixed in Feb.2019 and his air stopped working in April. The Orginal owners had him to bring the car back and they fixed it with no charge because they didnt hook something up. Well it did it again a month later, in which ownership had changed. The new Owners lead him to believe it was under the same Management. They didnt tell him until they had already looked at his car and charged him $125 that was not discussed until AFTER the car was looked at.

I had a couple ignition coils go bad. I initially took my car to Firestone, where I always go, and they recommended a bunch of stuff that did not need to be fixed. I then looked up a different mechanic and found these guys. They came in at nearly a third of the cost to fix the problem. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Firestone.
