Not only did this man stay in contact with me the entire time, but he was a complete professional. He went above and beyond! We were stranded over 3 hours from home and Shannon not only located our part, but retrieved it and installed it. All while it was raining. He even shopped for the best price. I am so thankful that I was pointed in his direction. He was such a blessing. He was amazing. Words can't express how thankful we are for his help! He was fast and informative. He talked us through the process and made us feel like we were his only customer. It was an honor to meet this man and he was a pleasure to do business with. 10 out of 10, WE RECOMMEND! Shannon did a great job and came to my rescue. I did everything I could to get an alternator out, but had to ask for help. I was humbled by how quickly he was able to swap out the part and everything is running great! I will definitely be requesting Shannon's services anytime I get in over my head or don't have the time. Great Value!

Shannon is absolutely amazing. He is talented and extremely educated on cars. He is also very patient and collected. Shannon is phenomenal! I can t begin to properly articulate what a great job he has done working on not only my car and truck but my girlfriends as well. He is dependable, trustworthy, professional and always fair/competitive with his pricing. He s become a trusted friend whom I can t recommend strongly enough. Add in the convenience of his mobile service and why would you want to take your car to a shop?!

Shannon was great. This was my second service as my wheels needed some extra tlc. Right before the holidays, before I was leaving to go out of town, he set my mind at ease by getting to me the next day. It's been over a month & I'm gliding up & down the pikes. Shannan did a fantastic job for us and it was not a small job that he did, most mobile and regular mechanics would not do or can do this type of repair, he did it in my driveway, he was honest, knowledgable and made a great recommendation option to really fix our differential issues, most importantly a cost effective option, I will be using him for all my cars and he is highly recommended

I was unable to start my car and had no idea what the issue was while being stuck hours away from family at my University. But Hooten s was able to come right when I called and was able to solve the issue immediately like it was no problem and they had friendly service while doing so! Definitely recommend to anyone in need of car services!

SCAMMER ALERT: Please read ALL 1 star reviews so you can realize all red flags.TL;DR: Expect an unexpected bill ranging from $275 to $300 for diagnosis alone (15 mins), the bill filled with random fees . Furthermore, anticipate unauthorized attempts to charge your credit card, alongside poor customer service and rudeness.Based on my experience, the situation resembled a typical scammer behavior:- Initially, I was told over the phone that there would be a flat fee of $98 USD plus tax, with no additional charges mentioned. Despite explicitly asking about extra fees for living approximately 9.3 miles from the shop, I was assured there were none, as the service was mobile.- Upon visiting the website to schedule an appointment, I was required to prepay $48, described as an "appointment fee," which was not clarified to be separate from the total charge, leading to confusion.- The technician (Shannon?) failed to show up on the scheduled day, after I called him he asked to reschedule for next day.- During the diagnosis, which lasted only 15 minutes, the technician informed me to expect an invoice.- Upon receiving the invoice, it contained unjustifiable charges, including $100 for an hour of labor, a $35 shop supplies fee (despite no supplies being used), and a $70 fee labeled as fee , to discover later after calling them it is travel fees .- Called seeking clarification of the invoice, the guy was very rude and unhelpful, directing me to vague terms and conditions on the website before he abruptly hang up on me.- Upon review of the website, there was no mention of travel fees or clarification regarding additional charges, and the appointment fee was misleadingly labeled as a prepayment.- Subsequently, they attempted to charge my credit card multiple times without my authorization, prompting me to lock the card due to suspicious behavior.I already filed a compliant with the Tennessee Consumer Affairs.

Please dont hire this guy!!!!!Warning, Do not hire this guy or book an appointment Charged my card 95$ for canceling my appointment within 30 minutes of making one and did absolutely nothing. Didn't travel to my house didn't do any work. Requested a refund and received nothing back. He's going to try to tell you that you signed his policy that agreed to the charges. Hope your company and your business go broke for ripping people off. Good people don't steal to earn there money, they work for it. You sir are garbage!

Great experience. Pulled up right away! very professional! Knows what he talking about. I thought it was one thing. He identified the problem. Went and grabbed the parts. Fixed the car and got it up and running in less than 3 hours. Exceptional service. I m not going anywhere else but here. And did I say he comes to you? Yes. My car stalled out and I couldn t drive it. The man came to me ready to work. I m so satisfied with my service!

If I could give him ZERO STARS, I WOULD!I recently used this mechanic s services multiple times, and while my personal encounters with him in person seemed normal, I feel compelled to share a concerning experience. Weeks after his service on both my car and my boyfriend s, I began receiving multiple explicit FaceTime calls and unsolicited photos from various random numbers. Initially, I didn t connect these incidents to the mechanic. I simply would just block the random numbers and move on.It wasn t until a friend, who trusted our recommendation and used the same mechanic, shared a similar disturbing experience. He had contacted her the same day he serviced her car, engaging in inappropriate FaceTime calls. Reflecting on our shared encounters, it became evident that this behavior was indeed linked to the mechanic.This unprofessional conduct is deeply troubling, especially considering the violation of privacy and trust. While my in-person interactions seemed normal, the subsequent incidents raise serious concerns about the mechanic s professionalism and integrity.PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS MECHANIC.Service: Engine repair

We were traveling through 6 states and midway thru our engine light came on and I panicked and the cars excelleration was diminished I was desperate and by the grace of god , Hooten s answers the call met us at the hotel where we were and did an amazing job ! Shannon was an excellent mechanic that was very knowledgeable and really helped me out with my car in a time of need! He performed my thermostat replacement in a timely manner and was very friendly and willing to explain and show me the process of the replacement. Most auto shops in the area wanted to charge me over $500 for this repair and had no availability to schedule me, but Shannon charged me almost half of that and I was able to schedule an appointment with him the next day! I would highly recommend Hooten s Mobile Mechanics for any car issues over taking it to a shop.

The best customer service in the business with reasonable prices. The amount of time it takes for someone to get back with you is within minutes no longer than two hours. I would highly recommend this mobile service to anyone in need in the volunteer state

Shannon was extremely professional and thorough. I'd had work done by another mobile mechanic and he showed me where parts I bought weren't installed properly and it was part of the reason my engine was running poorly. He cleaned my throttle body, replaced all the coils and plugs and gaskets and my Jeep is running perfectly! Shannon was recommended to me by 2of my sisters. I love the fact he is a mobile mechanic and will meet you wherever you are. This morning I went to my car so I could take my son to school and my car wouldn t start. I called Shannon and w/o hesitation he came straight to my house to fix the issue. It turned out to be my battery. Shannon went and purchased a new battery and replaced my old one. He was fast and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him.Service: Auto battery maintenance

I was referred to Shannon through my sister. I'm so glad I found a reliable mobile mechanic who could do auto repairs on mine and my daughter's cars.
