I am so proud to have brought my car to this facility! I have been to Gerber in Donelson before with a previous car and I knew it was the perfect place for me to bring my current car. Brian my adjuster was so confident, bright, genuine, understanding, and the most caring. With being a single parent this means so much! He assured that my car would be tip top and made sure to tell me every step and precaution that was taken. Without him I would have not felt as confident for the completion of my car and for him I ve never felt as empowered as I do! The company communicates so well, the text updates are so helpful, and when I say they get the job done! They get the job done and your car looks brand new!! This car means so much to me and it felt like the first time I have ever seen my car, as if I got it straight off the lot! The feelings I felt, the happiness they felt for me to finally have my car back in my possession, the congratulations I received, it was all so appreciated from the bottom of their hearts! I trust this place whole heartedly and they are prepared like no other vendor I ve ever seen! They are the #1 VIP list of vendors within all insurance agencies! You will feel like family leaving here and I could not recommend them enough! Thank you guys so much!!! I appreciate you!! Thank you again Gerber and Brian you are a boss!!!

The entire staff here was INCREDIBLE, especially Keith. They were honest and upfront about production times and costs. Their team exceeded our expectations in terms of service, delivery time, and quality of repair. They worked so well with our insurance company and our experience with them was so much easier than we have had at other repair shops. Would highly recommend them for any repair needs!!!

Thank you to Linda and Ron and all the Gerber crew who provided such excellent customer service for a recent repair on my college student s vehicle. I live out of state and they made the process as easy as possible. I was always impressed with their courtesy and professionalism.

Be careful with this place. I got my car back from them after my hatch was damaged in a backup. Hatch did not fit properly after the "repair"and also leaked water into the car. They fixed it after I pointed it out but took a really long time to correct. The problem is that they will try to push out bad work on hopes you don't notice so check your care carefully. They did correct all the issues and the finished product looked great.

Ron kept me updated through the whole process of having my car fixed , excellent customer service . The shop did such an amazing job that the side of my car they painted looks better than factory and the door and fender alignment was as perfect as it gets . This shows they pay attention to the details . I would highly recommend.

THEY KILLED IT! It was amazing. They were so kind, responsive, and the work is amazing. Keith was my estimator and he kept me updated every step of the way! He kept saying I was ready to pick up my new Subaru and he was NOT wrong. My rear end looks BRAND NEW!I would highly recommend Gerber Collision in Donelson!

Ron, Miranda and Linda are wonderful examples of exceptional customer service. The shop did great work with a quick turn around time.Getting into a car accident can be a very stressful time, and this Gerber location really helped alleviate that stress with their prompt friendly professionalism.

I swear I already did this review but for me it is hard to determine the difference between the shop and my insurance in the terms of the difficulties I had getting my vehicle fixed in a timely matter. What I can say is that when I spoke to someone they were extremely pleasant, and seemed to be helpful. They also returned all calls in a timely manner. I will be using them again in December and plan to update my review then.

Shout out to this place, for doing a good job on me & my oldest sister Kia Souls which had got broken into, our windows were busted we also had ignition damage etc, I have a 2021 she has a 2016, #KiaSoulSisters but anywho, I will recommend this place to anyone who needs repairs done.etc.. they did exactly what they said, the timing was exactly what they told us, good job checking in with us givin us updates on their next moves etc with our kia's! What a good team ,and very nice ppl at this place!! And to keith, you are a very funny man the laughs kept coming ,you brighting our day and made us feel better during this time.We really Thank you all so much!!

Wow - where to start. First, I would NOT recommend this location for any reason ever. I had a minor fender bender that resulted in an insurance claim. My agent recommended Gerber (ultimately learned not this location) so I made an appointment. Everything started out well. The adjuster communicated often enough that I didn't get antsy. But as we neared 2 months of my car being in their possession, I began calling to get updates. When I spoke with the adjuster, it seemed as though he was making promises to make me happy but was unable to deliver on. Multiple times, I was told my vehicle would be ready the next day - and when I would call to find out more info, it felt like my calls were being dodged and messages left with the front desk were not returned... I finally got my car back on a Thursday afternoon (over 2 months after I dropped off my car). I headed home and didn't think much about it until I was driving my son to the bus stop and kept hearing weird noises from the undercarriage area of my car. Once I dropped him off and got on the interstate is when things got fun. As I ramped up my speed on the on-ramp, something fell out of the bottom of my car and started dragging. I immediately pulled off to the shoulder - during rush hour traffic. I called this location and left a message asking them to call me back. (I'm still waiting on a return phone call 3 weeks later...). When I was finally able to get it to another shop, I learned that Donelson had just failed to put bolts back where they should have been. The technician at the other location said he would have been freaked had this happened to him as well. Turns out not all Gerber locations are bad - I would highly recommend the one on Polk Ave.Service: Body & Trim

This is a wonderful place if you need collision damage repair on your vehcle. Everyone is so nice and make you feel so welcome and they make your car look fantastic! The place is super clean and organized - very professional!

Jim Seat, the Production Manager was very proficient with getting my vehicle repaired. I was involved in a crash that required a frame swap. After a bad start, where my vehicle sat for 2 months without an idea of how to fix it, Jim stepped in and contacted every body shop to find one to do.the frame swap. The repairs look great! The ladies at the front desk deserve a lot of praise too for their patience with frequent calls to get updates. Thanks yall! I m so appreciative to Keith and his team! My accident was in February and the part needed took months to arrive to the shop. No one at Honda or even my insurance company tried to help. But Keith made it a point to go above and beyond to help me and get me out with as little financial hardship as possible. So grateful to have had the best customer support!

Terrible customer service! I wouldn t use this place again if I had to. The only reason I HAD to use them this time was because it was through a warranty claim through the company I purchased my car with. They lie to get the paying customer to do what they want them to do with no concern for said customer.It is really unfortunate how disgusting the people that work in this line of work have become. They are lining their pockets getting rich off of the misfortunes of others. I think of them like people use to think about the cheesy used car salesman.Service: Painting

I couldn t be more disappointed in this location. USAA recommended them to me after my parked car was hit in November of 2022. I understand things go on back order but their customer service was horrendous. The service advisor I was using, Ron rarely ever communicated with me unless it was me calling him.He had me come pick up a rental in January and then immediately wanted me to come back and get my car. He never checked to make sure the parts were available before I turned my car in in the first place, but it was imperative I return the rental. That wasn t my problem or my fault.They told me they would call me once a month to see if the parts were available. Nothing. Then the wait began, in mid January for parts. By mid April I called to see what was going on after hearing nothing from them. I spoke to Ron and suddenly the parts were not only available but had been sitting at the shipper waiting to be told where to send them. Once again, zero initiative to look for parts or even try to care.This has been a 6 month process and although the work they did looks great and they cleaned my car inside and out and I appreciate that, I will never recommend this shop to anyone. The customers are treated like total garbage and it s not fair because the customer doesn t have a choice but to be there.Service: Body & Trim

I showed up for my scheduled estimate and everyone was confused to see me. Then they proceeded to tell me that they don t work on my kind of car, even though their scheduling system had no trouble accepting it as an option. Very frustrating incompetence and lack of communication.

More interested in satisfying the insurance companies (their true customer) rather you! Oh, and if your vehicle is totaled, they won't repair it even if you want to pay cash. Gotta keep the real "customer" happy. Too bad. Find a good local shop instead.

I chose this Gerber location from the list Allstate gave me after one of their insured drivers rear-ended me. This was the first week in March. They told me they would do an estimate, but it would be sometime in May before they could repair my car. I called 5/4 to do a status check and they now tell me it will be at least 6/28 before they will be able to get to my car. This is unacceptable!I needed to add this on May 10th. Since I left the original review I was contacted by the manager, Dan, and Tommy. Dan apologized for my earlier experience and agreed to get the parts needed and to expedite the repair. Tommy followed up today to tell me he is ordering the parts and they should get to me right away. I appreciate this and am glad to change my rating to 5 stars. This is a good example of customer service and good management.

Our first time using Gerber Collision. The Ladies in the office were extremely helpful and friendly. They really make you feel confident that they're going to do everything for you. They send text updates every step of the way. We would've had the car back when first promised, but when they test drove the car, they discovered a steering issue. It ended up going to the mechanic for additional work. It took an extra week between the being closed over Labor Day and parts being ordered. We still had plenty of days on our rental, so we were glad they were thorough and fixed all the issues. We just picked it up today. They even returned our rental to Enterprise! It is beautiful, spotless and running great! The location is spotless and very professional. We will be recommending them to anyone that may need body work. I attempted to use Gerber since my insurance has a contract with them. They were great doing the appraisal for me when I brought my car in and getting me on the calendar several weeks later. My BMW had been rear-ended by someone so the cost was about $5000 to repair. Keep in mind, they did the appraisal and ordered the parts. 5 days before I was to take my car in, I receive a call telling me that since the damage was more than cosmetic, they cannot work on it! What?! So time has been wasted with me driving a car that has impaired functioning and my insurance already sent a check. I was furious as driving is part of my job responsibility and this further delays me getting my car fixed. They should have known at the time of the appraisal that they don t repair a BMW beyond a cosmetic repair. Two stars only for courtesy at the time of the appraisal.
