I really wish my experience had been better. The location of this shop is very convenient for me but the service I had was terrible. Took my car in due to check engine light coming on. All I wanted was to have the issue diagnosed. I was reassured nothing would be done without my consent. A few hours after dropping it off I received a call from Billy saying it was a bad o2 sensor. I thanked him and told him I was going to come to the shop to pay for the diagnostic and pick my car up. A minute after hanging up he called back saying We have a problem. We broke the o2 sensor when trying to get it out . I went to the shop to see what he was talking about and saw that they had completely destroyed the sensor and stripped the threading in my car. He was pushing for me to pay him to replace the sensor but I refused. They had no right or reason to try to remove it to begin with. I had them rethread the hole and give me a temporary plug until I could get it fixed properly. I took my car home and saw that they had already cleared the codes AND that they had failed to put my engine cover back on.Next day, I spent $170 on a new sensor and installed it myself. A couple of days later the check engine light came back on with the same code. This time I took it to a different shop who properly diagnosed the issue (MAF sensor) and didn t destroy anything in the process nor did they try to trick me into paying for repairs I didn t need or want.Billy cost me time, money and caused extra unnecessary frustration. I do appreciate that he finally admitted to his wrong doing and didn t charge me for the diagnostic . However, I m very disappointed overall and could never recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Billy, he is an honest mechanic and an overall great guy! I had my oil changed at Firestone and they told me my Jeep needed $5,800 in repairs, I got a 2nd opinion from another shop down the street who said it only needed $1,200 in repairs. A friend referred me to Billy and he throughly went through my Jeep and told me that it was in perfect shape and no repairs were needed. He is a straight up guy!!!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!I took my truck there because I was having a gas leak and I needed the window motor installed that I had already purchased. It took this place TWO WEEKS and only one of the windows got fixed. On top of that, my catalytic converter was stolen yet no police report was filed. The mechanic, Billy, advised me to file a fraudulent insurance claim. Worst auto experience ever!!

I dropped my truck off here just for a couple repairs. When i went to pick up my truck two weeks later only half the issues were fixed and Billy informed me that my catalytic converter had been stolen, he continued to say that he didn t file a police report nor is he liable for the damages. So now i much louder and half fixed truck. What a monstrosity of an experience

Hi. My review/experience with Billy's automotive. My truck broke down near old hickory lake. I needed a tow truck and someone who could fix my problems. I called Billy explained my situation. He was able to get a tow truck to me within one hour. Tow truck drivers name is Billy too. They are knowledgable, reasonably priced and friendly. I will think of him next time I have a breakdown.

We were in Nashville visiting from Louisiana when we had an alert come up on the dashboard. I called the dealership but they could not get to it the same day. I found Billy's Automotive on Google and called him and he told me he could get the part and fix my car in the same day! He was very professional, personable, and an all around good guy! He took care of me and my vehicle in a timely manner allowing us not to be stuck in Nashville for another day. I would highly recommend Billy's automotive to anyone in town or out of town for your vehicle needs!

Excellent customer service. Traveling out of state,car problems started on the highway. Pulled into repair shop. Billy went out of his way driving into nashville to get the only part near at the Cadillac dealership and repaired it same day. Thanks
