Great guys. Wish I got their names. Searched the entire store, every end cap, every random display. My order was 1 item short but they went above and beyond. Refunded item and found a substitute with a discount.Customer Service is alive and is still practiced.Thanks again. You are appreciated.

The worst customer service. Avoid this location at all cost . Employess standing around acting to busy to answer simple quick questions. I couldn t even get checked out after finding my items. Politely sat items back down on shelf and walked out.

I pre ordered an Air filter for my car and was told it will be in the following day at 1:00p.m and I arrived to pick it up and it wasn t in, then I was told it will be in on the next delivery at 2:45p.m so i decided to call before i arrived this time and call at 3:45p.m and was told that the Air filter hasn t arrived yet. so at this point I will not shop at this location no more and won t waste my time I recommend if you take a customer money make sure they receive their order on time or just stock your store up so that you won t have to order. A complete waste of my time Thank you but no Thank you I will shop somewhere else ..

The parking lot is being used to sell barbecue so the spots are always taken by people who are eating.The sales associate was less than interested in assisting customers, first he acted like he didn't want to test the battery, then he flat out told us he was going to install the new one we purchased from him.

I went up there to check out a part # that I saw online and try to place an order, they told me to not trust the website even though it s their very own official website. When I asked for basic advice on buying the right one, they made things complicated in a disrespectful way and never helped me. When speaking to a grown man possibly in his 60s you would think they re knowledgeable and at the least polite and respectful to a customer who needs help, no they told me to try Autozone. Never buying anything from Advance Auto Parts ever again, not even if it s on the shelf. Lost a customer, and will lose many more if employees don t become educated on common sense and learn to be respectful.

While on a road trip from Maryland to Texas my truck lost a wheel hub by Nashville. After researching for mechanics around I found none wanting to work on my truck due to the fact that is was Saturday 5:00pm. I felt hopeless until I arrived here.. Larry, chip, brittany, kimberly (crew members) offered to lend me their tools so I could work on my truck. Even offered me water since it was pretty hot outside. Got the job done and couldn't be more thankful. If I ever pass by Nashville again il be sure to stop by and buy parts from them just because of how awesome they are.

I had to go to Vanderbilt for tests, dash cluster quit working , my daughter, nephew and grandson. All we need is a fuse, they didn t have a tester, and wouldn t loan us a fuse puller, so we have to buy 2 different kits, and will have to return the one that doesn t fit.The stores in Knoxville go out of their way for customer service, this place is awful.

Employees were rude, when asked about price matching. Could ve been a way different experience if they just knew how to talk to people . buy your oil from Walmart. They are way over priced. Will not shop there again.

The selection wasn't all that great in regard to what I was looking for but as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by an employee, helped with what I was looking for, and all of my questions were answered. I have no issues with the employees because they were wonderful. My only issue was that there wasn't a big enough selection for what I needed, which was a portable air pump. Had it not been for the employee that helped me I would've bought something that wouldn't have worked for my needs.

My car totally died on me on my way home. At best I figured the battery, but all the worst case scenarios were going through my head. It wouldn't even cut on at all- the auto locks wouldn't even lock! Fortunately I was right across the street from Advanced Auto at the time. After letting my car sit for a bit it finally started and I got it across the street. I went in and the cashier (I really wish I caught his name but he was pretty tall and was working about 5pm on 3/22) quickly rang up the 3 people behind me and offered to check out my car battery. The car battery was actually fine, but he noticed right away the connection was very, very loose. He tightened it for me- even went back in a couple of times when the tools he tried out wouldn't work. All in all, after maybe 10 minutes tops at Advanced Auto with the battery connections tightened again my car started just fine and my nightmares were at ease. Major shout out to this store today! They were totally cool and calm about it, which helped my nerves and in the end the whole situation wasn't even a big deal at all. I'll definitely remember that and will stop back by for any auto thing I need!

They get it right MOST of the time. Service is either very good or quite bad. It truthfully depends who you get.

I went to pick up oil and oil filters for two vehicles and a young woman at the desk helped me find the oil filters I asked for. When I brought the jugs of oil to the counter she mentioned that there was a sale where you get free filters with the type of oil and quantity I had. I told her I didn't want to be a pain since she had already helped me get the first two filters. She said she didn't mind at all and found the ones that applied to the special. Awesome! It saved me $10-$20, but more importantly was very thoughtful.

Ordered online and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. My cashier was really cordial and checked me out quickly. Speed Perks allowed 20% off this order. Quick & efficient with $ savings; nice!

Great Advanced Auto Parts location near my house. I have been here countless times and it is the friendliest and most helpful service I have experienced at any auto parts store. They don t always have the parts I need available, but I ll be a long-term customer solely because of the excellent friendly service.

Dealt with everyone who worked there about my car. Wanted to know if battery or starter. Honestly told me the battery can easily be checked but starter will be a bit tougher. They were straightforward with my husband and I. Didn't treat me like a woman who didn't know much which I appreciate because I know some of this stuff. They tested and changed my battery and everything in less than an hour. Great group of guys who worked there.

I have great service everytime the managers are very helpful and knowledgeable about mechanics of cars never have to wait long but the biggest thing is the employees are not in a bad mood they are customer service friendly and now a days that is very hard to find anywhere you go so go to advance for all your parts they have other things too just got a new French fry car holder its shaped like French fries the coolest the you ever seen its only 9 dollars plus tax , also they have die hard the name batteries and car quest , brand new line of car chargers and phone holders for you cars you will not be disappointed this store is right on corner of elm hill pike and Donelson pike

Nice staff. Apparently their a main hub where you can pick up most of the auto parts you need.Bought a set of brake pads and two rotors. The rotors I was able to buy with a 25% online discount. I used my phone right there at the store to buy them and used the promo code!Turns out I only needed to replace one rotor so I went back the same day -with my receipt - and the store refunded me back almost $50 for the rotors I returned!

Needed a new battery, Chip helped us out with getting the old battery out and the new battery in. The old battery was extremely corroded and tough to get out but Chip didn t give up and we really really appreciate it. Thank you so much!

Will never enter this establishment again.Twice I visited there in 6 months and twice was a nightmare.Sept last year:Went in for a simple battery change, an employee was working on my car outside and asked a random stranger for help. After she fitted it, the car wouldn't start. She then told me, it's your starter motor.At this point, I called my boyfriend and he came to help me. We purchased the starter motor and he installed it outside the store. It still wouldn't start.We went in and asked them to test our old starter and there was nothing wrong with it. Turns out the employee failed to hook up one wire on the battery.So we were there for three hours in the excruciating heat, trying to figure out what this employee had done. Once my boyfriend had figured it out he went back in to return the new starter motor and politely told them what the employee had done. Did they come out and offer assistance, no, did they offer us a bottle of water, no. They just didn't care....January this year:My car had the check engine light on and I mistakenly went to this store again. The employee who helped me said "You will have to wait until the store clears of customers before we can check that for you"So - I stood there for half an hour while customers came and went. Finally the store cleared out and I looked at them. "Can we help you" ..."Yes I need someone to check my car as it has the check engine light on"."We are too backed up for that right now" ( Not a customer in the store)"If you come back in an hour we might be able to help".I asked, if I come back can you guarantee I can get helped."No I am afraid we can't"I was so disgusted I just left with no comment.WHY make me stand there like an idiot for 30 minutesI went straight down the street to their competition where I was greeted warmly (Store was busy) my car was checked and had a diagnosis and within 5 minutes.I know where I will be going in the future

Don't take a deep cycle battery there and expect good service. Took 4 in and they said they would charge in morn could pick up. Went back in morn and they hadn't done it. Told me at night batt were good but didn't know why thier charger wouldn't charge in back. Said voltages were around 6 v for them . Sad that they sell these type of batteries but don't have a hygrometer!

They had a hard time testing my alternator, battery, and starter. I was also looking for specific mini fuses and the only package they had was way more than I needed. They didn't help me look for a smaller pack just said they're out
