Thank you to David and sue for getting me in and out quickly. Need a radiator replaced they got it done quick and got service while I was there which I as impressed by the extra he done with the service. He went above my expectations wit the service and prices was very fair. Would recommend them to anybody and will definitely be back here for work when my truck needs it.Thank Action Gear and Diesel

Using derogatory and profane language towards the delivery workers and also physically touching individuals is an absolute problem that DAVID has. I would not recommend anyone to this establishment as they do not know how to conduct business nor act as civilized people. I honestly wish I could rate in the negatives for how bad this experience was.

The businesses employee, David, is unprofessional and irresponsible. Not only did he use profanity and make derogatory remarks, he also yelled and physically nudged delivery workers. I would not recommend patronizing this business due to his volatility. If I could give a negative rating, I would absolutely do so!

We had a idler pulley bearing go out on our Freightliner M2 while traveling through the area. These guys were able to get it swapped out and back on the road same day. Talk about an excellent choice of shops!

Not recommended for anyone at all, basically they deceived us, i told him what i need to be done on the truck. later i got a phone call from them that the truck is ready, went there to pick it up, paid over $5000 drove out and I found out that couple of the issues still not fixed, went back told him what s going on with the truck and they said sure if we got those issues done we will have to charge you more. So basically Charged us too much and the issues haven t been fixed.Not professional generally.

I don't review many businesses but after the excellent service I received from this business I thought I'd try to help out truckers trying to find an honest shop to take their truck. It's so hard nowadays to find someone you can trust when it comes to big truck repair facilities.I have not had a single complaint with David and his crew since I started using them. Every repair has been done when promised, the work was done correctly and the pricing has been very fair. I don't know what more I can say or ask for when work is being done.Thank you David for your excellent service and honesty. It has been so nice not to have to worry when I drop my trucks off.Thanks again! Mike

They were seriously quick, as they could be that is, and straight forward about the fix. The cost was way better then I had expected so it's a 5 star all day place from me. Everyone was extremely friendly too. Just with there were some better places near by to stay the night.

This shop is by far the best in all of nashville. i tried multiple places and this place is the best. David is so knowledgable and cares so much. he walked around truck with me and inspected all issues i had and gave me advise on what i should do and fixed all problems in timely mannertruck had 7/8 problems including multiple air leaks, wiring issues. sensors, fuel, and complete ecm was installed. I thought price was a bit high but beats dealer anytime and very good work. i will going there always!thanks DavidServices: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

We've been using Acton Gear & Diesel for about four years and they've always take care of us. They get us repaired and back on the road much quicker and at a better rate than anyone else we've used. We had trucks sit at a dealership for a week and never get looked at. AG&D usually gets us in and out within 24-48 hours. Many times they've been able to get us back on the road within a few hours. We don't plan on using anyone else in the Nashville area.

Really great guy owns and runs this shop. Hard to find in this business anymore especially somebody that knows what he is doing that's not to say he is very busy so he really needs a head sup before making an appt.. thanks again very much Dave u are very appreciated here Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and even better Happy New Year

On vacation in my diesel RV from Louisiana with engine warning lights and buzzers going off. Found action diesel online. David was working on Sunday and agreed to look at my camper engine on the following day, even though he normally doesn t fix RVs. Got everything fixed next day and was back on road home with no issues. Would highly recommend Action Diesel! Thanks David. They went above what I expected.

This is the best mechanic shop in Nashville and i guarantee you all the people that has rated this place with a bad rating there is alot more to it than what their saying so i suggest you to dig deeper into the bad ratings and where else are you going to go to get your truck worked on 7 days a week everyone at action gear and diesel is very professional and David has the best prices around for professional work he even takes out his own pockets on parts and labor just so his customers are pleased and happy so i highly recommend this shop to anyone
