Had lift done here and thought my truck was ok, we are getting ready to move back to Murfreesboro and I took the truck in for alignment and oil change before we drive it long distance and apparently there were several bolts put on backwards and even though I asked Jimmy multiple times do I need new upper control arms or anything and does the kit come with everything needed, he said yes and that was a bold face lie. Very dishonest person and now it's costing me $600 to habe a real mechanic fix it the correct way and will cost way more to fix everything that was done wrong by true-blue truck. I will stop by when we get back to pickup my $600 yall owe me for completely butchering front suspension.

Took my truck there around 6-7 months ago due to my suspension making a lot of creaking noises. I was told I needed a new lift kit so I went forward with it. Not even 2-3 months later it was doing the same thing. After calling for months I finally went down there since no one would answer and told them what was going on, I schedule an appointment and drop it off and they don t even touch it, said they would call with a estimate, I never heard a word nor understood why they didn t take care of being I just spent thousands and it didn t do any good. I was sold on a lift I didn t need. Terrible all aroundALSO to reply: as stated in my review the original issue of creaking was never fixed, I was sold on a lift I didn t need. The truck has had 5k miles put on it since it was done and is never taken off road. I never said a word about a warranty I was never even quoted to repair anything. I was curious of why that wasn t done from the get go instead of selling me a whole new lift kit. I also mentioned about the tie rod ends never taking grease since they were put on and nothing was done about that either. I was told my lower control arm and sent out the door. Word of advice find a better shop as this one won t be around much longer with piss more service.

I provided them with a transmission with a Speedmaster performance pan for a Bronco build. They took off that pan and an employee helped himself to it. After I noticed it and called them out on it they returned it, but after that the transmission developed a high pitched whine. They took the trans out several times to diagnosis it but never fixed it and charged me for every remove/replacement. After it got it home I found they used pan washers on the trans filter which crushed it and prevented the pump from pulling enough fluid. Once rectified the whine went away, but the trans had already developed a leak and needed to be rebuilt by then. Thousand wasted with them and another shop to get the trans rebuilt. Beyond this sabotage and fake diagnosis to collect more money there are other examples of me coming home with less parts than were provided. I wouldn t call them crooks because my post would be deleted, but everyone I share my experience with seems to think they are.

First time there I felt like he did me right , 2nd time he took advantage on price for service. Went to another place and told them what he charged me and they said he got you.I will not return.Make sure you know a good price before going there.

My jeep needed attention. The shocks needed help, and something else was making the ride very uncomfortable. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue, order the parts, and install them all in a few days!I loved that they texted me the quote (pdf attachment in the text) so i could review and approve on the go. They responded quickly and courteously to all my questions. This is my new "go to" place for Jeep repairs.

Had a level kit installed here. I consulted with the technician a couple of times before making the decision & purchasing a RC level kit, then purchased the kit separately & had them install it. Truck looks great with kit installed, new tires/wheels (also purchased separately) fit perfectly too. True professionals work here. This team understand what it means to treat the customer well and they know very well how to do the work they do. Additionally, they got my truck in & out quicker than the quoted time.

I wrecked my 2011 Jeep Wranglers Sahara Unlimited. The insurance company tried to send it to a cut rate shop. I insisted it went to E.O.R. I'm so glad I did. It's better than it was before the wreck!

Jimmy the owner was very professional. Straight up type of guy he literally was in the process of working on a vehicle, he stopped what he was doing rode with me down the street to look at an issue I had. Truck was finished the very next day. Long story short, leave it to the professionals. Thanks again and would definitely do business with you in the future money well spent.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I have used them for several things on my truck. Had a cv axle replaced, had a transmission mount replaced and had my rear differential rebuilt. They do good work at a fair price and when they say it will be done at a certain time it is done. Very professional and helpful. They are my go to shop for everything.

The people at TBT are fair and stand-up guys. Jimmy (I believe the owner) entertained one of my harebrained ideas and spent a significant amount of time researching and trying to make it work. The idea wasn t feasible, but they were still gracious and didn t charge me for their time spent.I did have them install a pair of fog lights into the grill of my WK2. They understood my vision and delivered. I ll definitely bring my truck back for future aftermarket upgrades.Service: Electrical

Great experience at this shop. Before I was even a customer, Cameron spent 25 minutes on the phone with me advising on my E150 lift. Had no problem shipping out parts to the shop and the estimate was exactly correct. Will definitely be back.

I m a traveling nurse and tow a 10,000 lb 37 foot camper between hospitals while I m working. I wanted to see if regearing my 2020 F150 would help with towing. I contacted my local Ford dealership in Cookeville and they told me it would not help and quoted me $3,250 to swap gears. I googled 4x4 forums and came across TBT and called. No one answered but the voicemail left an email to reach out to. I emailed and James replied fairly quickly. While emailing, James gave me his phone number and answered all of questions quickly. He quoted me a very fair price and I couldn t be happier with the gear swap. Very professional and good group to work with. Highly recommend True Blue Truck.

This is a great shop that focuses on, as the name suggests, off road type vehicles (rock crawlers, 4x4s, jeeps, etc.). They are not just another shop, these guys build competition vehicles that are pretty amazing to see.But I am not a competition vehicle type guy, I just have an 02 Jeep Wrangler that needed some attention. In the past year I took the jeep to a local shop to have the issues checked out and the results were not what I hoped for as the same issues either returned or never left. So, I found this place and decided to try it out.I took my jeep along with a list of issues that I had noticed (rattles in door, dash, and read end, harsh ride, broken lock, power steering issue, sticking brakes, and more). They addressed and fixed every single issue and the jeep is riding smoother and quieter than it ever has! When they called to discuss what they had found and what needed to be done, they were polite and, most importantly, talked in a way that even I understood what the problems were and what repairs were needed. Now the Jeep needed a lot of things done because, well, it's 13 years old. I ended up with new shocks, power steering pump and reservoir, brake calipers, door lock assembly, control arms, and other repairs to fix the rattles in the door and dash area. The whole process took a week which considering that it all had to be diagnosed, parts ordered and then repaired was pretty great. I talked to a buddy who works in another shop in town and had him do an estimate for the same exact job at their shop and it would have been 22% more to do the exact same work by guys who don't just focus on my type of vehicle. But the one thing that impressed me the most was when they admitted to a mistake right away without me having to find it. Apparently during the process, something fell in the garage and scratched my passenger side door. Now this is a 13 year old jeep so it's highly likely that I would have never noticed it, but instead of following the "wait and see" or play dumb approach that many businesses would have, they were upfront and honest and offered to either knock $200 off my bill or repair the scratch (they just would need it for an extra day).I plan on doing some aesthetic improvements to the jeep in the coming year and I have no doubt that they will be done by the guys at Essentially Off Road because I can't imagine going anywhere else. These guys (and gal) rock! Trust me, they'll treat you right and get the job done.

TrueBlueTruck is an amazing place to bring your rig for any small/major service or build. They can literally do anything you need/want done to your ride. The owner, Jimmy, has been in the business for decades and is the best there is. Great guy and easy to do business with. He has worked on all my trucks for years now. We are about to start building my 1st gen raptor and can't wait for Jimmy to put his expertise into my truck. Dont hesitate to do the same.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The people here were awesome, my wife was delivering an RV to Georgia from Wisconsin and lost a wheel bearing, axle joint, seal and brakes. The were able to get her in, in a very reasonable time and did not throw the "proverbial shaft" at her for being out of town and they did a quality job. Awesome people.

Dropped truck off at 815am to have spacer level kit installed. They called me at 1030am had said "forgot someone was ahead of me and they are running behind schedule". They told me it would then be ready at 1pm. I get there at 1pm and no one is at the shop. They finally get back at 130pm and give me 15% discount. They should have called and let me know when 1pm wasn't going to work but the discount was nice.

I have a 1987 Suzuki Samurai. I dropped off my vehicle to have all my u-joints replaced. I dropped it off in the morning before they opened and I received a phone call in the afternoon stating it was ready to be picked up. When I got it back the the driveshafts were in worse shape than when I brought it in As soon as I left the parking lot I noticed my Samurai would vibrate really bad. So I immediately took it back. They said sorry about that, the person who ordered the u-joints ordered different ones than we normally do. We'll take care it and install the better brand (2 hours wasted).I take it back and same thing I get a phone call saying it's complete. I start to drive it away again and it's still vibrating at certain mph. So I turn around one more time and chat with them again(another 2 hours wasted in driving time). The mechanic that worked on it said that he's tried everything to get it fixed but now says it's because my drive shafts are worn. Why didn't you just call me and tell me that to begin with? At this point I'm very frustrated but kept my bearing. To top it all off I'm out of almost $700. After doing a little research when I got home I found out that I could of just bought two brand new beefier drive shafts and installed them myself. Two lessons learned. 1. I will never go back to this company or recommend them. 2. I should of done a little more research on driveshaft pricing before dropping it off.The mechanic should of noticed the slop in the driveshaft to begin with before installing new u-joints. Period!I'm sure there are more positives with this company than negatives but I had to tell my story so you can make your own judgement.

*Beware* not under previous ownership and not good. Took my 4wd vehicle here twice since new ownership and neither time were they able to fix reasonbly simple issues without having to document each issue and take it back a to their shop. And per the 2nd time this happened they never corrected the problems I originally had and actually screwed up both the wiring and rear diff in attempting to do so. Do yourself a favor find somewhere else and save the headache

Very unprofessional company. Iv called numerous times in the past month and either nobody answers or someone does answer, laughs then hangs up.Reply: if nobody is working in the front then you need to take "give us a call" off your fb page. No, it was the correct number. You know. The one on your fb page......that you included with "GIVE US A CALL!" I found a more professional off road shop anyway.
