This was my first time with Ray s and it surpassed my expectations. I was referred by a friend and it was the best thing I could have done for my car. Customer care was excellent, everyone had a smile and said how can we made this a successful experience . I highly recommend you go to Ray s. We have a 2009 Audi that we bought for our son. It has had ongoing issue burning and leaking oil. Audi dealership worked on it a couple years ago costing us an arm and a leg and still ran poorly. New warning lights started flashing a week ago causing us to search for a local repair shop that focuses on Euro/German cars. Google Reviews and word of mouth led us to Rays Imports.Not only did we make an excellent choice - they exceeded our expectations. They quoted us a reasonable cost and provided us a high quality repair. The car now runs better than the day we purchased it! George was so informative and their level of service is top notch!!! Was referred to this place by a friend. Very pleasant to deal with. Seems like he's shooting it straight with you. Had it towed from Volkswagen dealership. Felt they were very high and also pushing HARD to get us to just trade it in and upgrade. Ray's was less than half their price. Same diagnosis. Same work. High quality parts and experience.

George and the younger guy with glasses are very friendly and gave me a lot of knowledge on my car unfortunately my experience wasn't great I had a 3 page diagnosis and asked them to fix whichever page would make my car run and sound better and my check engine light off. Job done. Paid my 1,344.40 Picked up my car and it wasn't fixed.but the noise was a lot quieter and drove a little smoother .Came back to get it fixed again long story short I was told fixing 1 problem allowed them to see I had a bigger problem.I was also ignored by every employee that day for a lady who was selling cakes outside. I'm just overall unhappy now my car is back to sounding like it did before I brought it in

These folks have been my preferred shop for years for my BMW X3, never an issue with cost or quality of work. Recently my trusted indie was out of town and I found myself in need of some urgent service on my old 911 C4S. Let me tell you they know their way around a Porsche! There was a bit of a scare after picking up the vehicle, but it was just a loose sensor. I had the pleasure of working with George who took great care to explain the options and get the price right for my budget. I think I've found my new go-to shop! We are so thankful to have found this place!! Our daughter s Volvo was needing maintenance work done. Colby was so honest about what needed to be done and what was unnecessary. I appreciated his honesty so much. We will definitely start using them for all of our family vehicles.

This shop is First Class! I fully trust them with my classic carZ as well as my daily drivers. I have everything from a 1971 Datsun 240Z to a 2018 Nissan Rogue and they can service it all. I've seen everything from a Lamborghini Gallardo to a 1969 Camaro at their shop and they will treat everyone with professionalism, respect and honesty in quality workmanship. In this day and age, it is truly refreshing to have a local trustworthy mechanic right here in our hometown! Wow. What a refreshing experience. My first time here and I was very impressed with their knowledge and explaining to me in detail what I needed to know. I m a fairly picky old man and don t leave many feedbacks online. I wanted to make sure I did this because of my excellent experience. Great people. Go the extra step to source better parts if OE is not the best option. Pricing does not require a pint of blood or your first born. If you have an Import car. This is the place.

I have been going to Ray's Imports for years. They are amazing! The owner, George, is a truly honest person and always goes out of his way to help me with whatever my car needs. I highly recommend this shop to everyone. Being a single mom who knows nothing about cars, it is really nice knowing that I can take my car somewhere and know that im not getting ripped off. Thank you!

What an honest, caring, and well run business. Over the last month I experienced my turbo going bad on my 2015 Audi. Had my car into Ray's after the Audi of Nashville Dealership told me there was "nothing wrong with my car" - the same car that two hours after the dealers "diagnostics" literally would no longer start. This place took such good care of me as I went back and forth with fighting with the dealership that did not care that I was under 50k miles but 3 MONTHS passed my warranty. What I appreciated the most was the transparency from this shop. They kept me in the loop with the details. They EXPLAINED the details to me and answered EVERY single one of my questions (I had a lot, okay). As a woman, I have gained a negative connotation for repair shops as we are usually treated as tho cars are for men and we know nothing, and are typically talked to and treated that way. NOPE, not here! I've never had a better experience with a repair shop. I will forever be taking any vehicle I own to Ray's.

Locally owned, quality all the way around from customer service to communication skills to the work they do. They are also very organized. I wouldn t take my car anywhere else. They are up front in honest with what your car needs. Which I like. I would HIGHLY recommend.Now stop reading reviews and get your car fixed or upgrade the performance at rays!! Go now!!!

I initially gave this shop a three star review because I was a little concerned about the quote they gave me to repair a shifter cable. However the service manager Jordan reached out to me and broke down the costs and explained the labor involved with the repair. After doing some research and talking with Jordan I feel like I jumped the gun on the 3 star review. I think they actually care about their customers and have gone the extra mile to make sure I feel like I am being treated fairly. This is more than I can say about any other auto repair shop I have gone to. So hats off to you Ray's Imports. I will be coming to you the next time I need help.

This place is great. I consider myself a car guy and I generally do all my routine maintenance and some heavier work myself. I needed a clutch for my belovid saabaru. George, the owner, got me in right away the following week for my clutch. Let me mention, George is the owner and he is always involved with everything going on at Rays. Which speaks to the character of the shop. They had my clutch done in less than a week on a car that is rather more complicated then most. They even put a new exhaust mid pipe on for me that I have had sitting in my garage free of charge. They did a phenomenal job and I do not trust anywhere else with my imports.

The crew at Ray's Imports were very friendly and very helpful when I brought in my old VW Jetta. They were able to give me accurate estimates for repairs as well as good advice generally about my car. Ray's Imports was recommended to me by multiple friends, and I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone. So Far so good!!!! We had to find a new mechanic, as our other one went out of business:-( It's so hard to find trustworthy mechanics. Our son's car needed power steering hoses and they replaced everything for around the same price as our old mechanic, and it was done in a timely manner. Then, about a week later, the upper radiator hose went out and they fixed it up like new and done quickly also.They have really beautiful shop cats also:-)I chose this place from the reviews I read online and so far, I'm impressed!

These guys worked on my BMW years ago, they are now working on my Audi Q7. George and the crew are great at what they do. They are very knowledgeable and enjoy what they do. I went in for a job and left with a human error. George advised me that they will keep my car until the situation is fixed. Not only did they correct the wrong, but my car and torque is a lot better than before I dropped it off to them. For foreign vehicles, I would not recommend anyone else in Middle Tennessee, but Ray's . Thanks George and Christian!

Fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about the quality of work at Ray's. George is 100% positive, upbeat with an honest approach to your car issues. I have use Ray's at least 4 to 5 times a year. They get my cars fixed promptly and back on the road at a reasonable price. Ray's has serviced four of my vehicles and always with top notch results. My associates, friends and relatives all use Ray"s Imports. I never have to ask to have a ride or have them follow me home with my car. The lobby is clean and professional. This is not your grandpa's greasy garage. Don't let the big advertiser's fool you, go to Rays! John Drake

Returned my car empty of oil & not repaired after paying $2,000 - they fired mechanic, but did not refund my money.My vehicle overheated And was towed to the shop for evaluation.First report was no damage to engine other than temp sensor, ignition coil and spark plugs $1400. Repair completed. Second report also has leaking thermostat housing $630. Repair completed. Total of $2k repairs on my $4k car.After driving home I found the car 3qts low of oil (see photo) They had returned my car without properly refilling (or inspecting) the oil. I topped it off.Next day driving, it indicated elevated temperature again, so I had it towed (again). After Ray s inspection (by another tech) they informed me it was the head gasket all along. It had been missed by the same tech that also failed to tend to the basic need of oil. The additional repair ..$4,000. This would total $6k in my $4k car.They had since terminated the original mechanic. They apologized for the error but would not refund any of my $2k they wasted.Important to note is I requested specific inspection of the head before spending money on repairs. Also important to note is the engine was never cleaned which is required to do a thorough inspection and repair of the thermostat housing.I believe this shop generally produces great work but they hired a poor mechanic and their lack of quality assurance allowed him to harm a customer, and they chose to not stand behind it.All indicators are their interest in the bottom line is greater than a want to do the right thing.Service: Engine repair

If you want an honest, hard working, and reliable auto repair place this is it! My Saab broke down on the side of i-24, & I had it towed to Ray's. When my husband called to have them look at it, the guy who answer was SO NICE! The Engine is blown and now we have to pick it up. My husband called this AM to see how much we owed & we were told that "we didn't owe anything" Which was very surprising considering they pulled my car in and looked through everything to find the issue. I would highly recommend this place, the owner is super nice & understanding. I will be taking my other vehicles back to him to work on!

You cannot put a price sticker on an honest business and quality car repair staff. I ve used their services for several years. Most recently, my car s taillight needed to be replaced. The part was ordered the day we called Ray s and installed the following day. It took <30 minutes. I would highly recommend this business!

I had a timing belt go out on an older model toyota years ago. I called Ray's and had them pick up my vehicle from the side of the road and taken to their shop. They quoted me a price which I felt was rather high but since my car was already with them I decided to just go with it. The next two days I called almost every other relevant shop in the area to get price quotes. I wanted an idea of how much money I was losing by dealing with Ray's. As it turned out, I saved almost 200.00 by choosing Ray's as opposed to another shop. All repairs plus towing was still substantially lower than anywhere else in town. Stated simply, Ray's is one of the best shops in town with an emphasis on quality and competence. They back all of their work with substantial warranties, are staffed with certified and experienced mechanics, and perform each and every service to the letter of the law.
