Jon, Tonya, and their crew of amazing mechanics are A/C heroes/legends! Recently, my Subaru's air conditioning unexpectedly went out, and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in a lightning-fast 70 minutes. You heard that right, folks--70 freaking minutes!Their skills are undeniable, and they saved me both considerable time and money. Local shops quoted outrageous prices, as well as wait times, just to diagnose my Subaru's A/C issue. Meanwhile, Jon, Tonya, and their crew of awesome mechanics fixed it entirely for a fraction of the cost and in record-breaking time. Jon at all times was extremely transparent about what the issue was, what parts needed to ordered, and the what the service cost would be. On top of that, customer service throughout the entire process was top-notch!I'll be shouting their praises from the rooftops for as long as I live and breathe. If you've got any auto issues, Jon's Auto Service is without a doubt the place you want to be!

After reading reviews I decided to call Jon s Auto Service since I am new to Murfreesboro and needed a repair to my vehicle. Let me just say that they are very pleasant people to deal with. My issue unfortunately wasn t able to be fixed by them, but they were up front and honest and did not try to take me for a ride. I have a few more issues that need to be addressed and I will definitely be bringing my vehicle to them for the maintenance and repairs. If you are looking for an honest repair shop Jon s Auto is the place to go.

Jon and his wife is some nice ppl to deal with. This work may have cost me my granddaughters Christmas this year but we had to have my car fixed for me to go back an forth to the doctors cause im disable and very sick. Jon told me what was wrong with my car and fixed it and found out there was a belt messed up and fix it as well and didn't charge me for it. While putting the power steering pump on he seen there was leaking else where and told me and said if it caused me any more problems let him know and he would fix that as well. Jon and his wife are good people and I will be bringing my car back to them to fix and they cheap too with great work. GREAT JOB YALL

This is my second time using Jon s Auto Service. Both times they offered a fair price of parts and labor. They showed me the part that was causing the issue each time, which made me more comfortable than using the dealer or chain shops. The staff is friendly and welcoming, so when my car broke down, I was comfortable calling them. A reliable and trustworthy shop that I ll continue to use!

This place is by far the most honest mechanic shop in town. They have amazing customer service, they offer warranties on the job they do and the prices are cheap. They wont try to overcharge you. And they take the time to explain what is wrong. I only recommend Jon's to anyone that needs to go see a mechanic.

Such great people! I m very critical with my reviews but I have nothing negative to say about this business. I went to get my a/c resistor replaced. Jon and his wife were very clear/honest about what needed to be fixed and how it would be fixed. Even brought me my damaged resistor so I could see the difference. Prices here were easily the best after asking around. I was told it would take 3-4 hours other places. Jon did it in 30 minutes. It s a big difference when you go to people passionate about what they do and aren t just money hungry. Friendly service, great communication, impressive prices. Jon and Tonya are an awesome team. My engine was beginning to overheat when idling and moving at slow speeds in traffic. Not only did they get back to my email inquiry within a couple of hours, but they even provided an initial diagnosis of what the issue sounded like and an estimate up front if that was determined to be the issue.Fast forward to today and Jon confirmed that diagnosis and showed me under the hood exactly what was happening. He also pointed out my brakes could use a change (which was spot on because they recently started squeaking). I was in-and-out within the hour. Complete transparency the entire way and fair pricing for the work. Do yourself a favor and get your vehicle serviced here.

Jon and Tonya are genuinely awesome people. I couldn t have asked for a better recommendation. My parents went to Jon s when they still lived in state and I am happy to say I will now be a repeat customer. When I take my car to Jon s I know I am in good hands. Jon & his wife are reliable, trustworthy, and efficient. I won t take my car anywhere else in Nashville. I m sad I didn t find them years ago. Please do business with them, you won t regret it.

Today was our first visit to this family owned and run mechanic shop. Jon and his wife are very professional and take the time to explain things so customers know exactly what the issue is. They are also very friendly towards customers. They could stand to have a few more chairs in the waiting room, but when you think about how fast and efficient Jon is, it's worth overlooking the chairs.This review is one of my few five star reviews because I don't give them easily. They have to be earned and Jon did just that.

Jon was super responsive and got me scheduled for the next day to have my Subaru Forester s AC serviced. The price was more than fair, service was fast, and the folks were friendly. Jon also took time to walk me through what was done and what watch for in the future. Highly recommend!

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!!! I can now say "my mechanic"!!! Jon and his wife are good honest people and they are very reasonable with prices. Not only that, they are HONEST people. I took my truck in to be repaired and felt like it was not driving the same after the repair. Jon told me to bring it back and he corrected the issue and was very apologetic about it... They even held my check until I was satisfied with the work!!! It doesn't get any more honest and professional than that!! Jon loves what he does and his wife told me the story of how they got started... That let's me know they are VERY passionate about their business!!! Jon was incredible. I live out of town and wrecked my car. I had it towed to his place and he gave me a straightforward and honest estimate for the work that needed to be done. It was more than what the car was worth so I decided to sell it. He allowed me to keep it at his lot while I worked out the logistics. When I offered him payment for the estimate and storage, he refused saying he understood the bind I was in. I was very fortunate to stumble across Jon. He could have easily take advantage of an out-of-towner in a tough spot but he didn't.

I will never use a different shop for my car repairs. We've had two repairs done with my wife's car. Jon and Tonya were very professional and friendly. The prices were fair. Jon was willing to take the time to talk me through the repair process which was great. They stick to their appointments and get the work done quickly. First impressions are everything, and usually when visiting repair shops we automatically know we are going to get greased! However, visiting Jon's was completely different. He was confident, professional, kind, even his wife was a delight to meet. The price for service was extremely competitive and best quote. I found them last year to fix my dash cluster and it s the best thing I ve ever done, Jon and his wife and everybody else was so nice, honest, and great! They made it super easy process since my parents (that live pretty far out) needed to be included; they estimated 4 hours for the fix and called me an hour later saying it was done! Very quick and efficient and I went recently for an EVAP fix and they showed me my options and best rates. They explain things extremely well (as I know nothing about cars) and are just great people; I won t be taking my car to anybody else!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Best mechanic in town! I have brought my personal vehicle as well as my wife & mother s here for work & have never been let down. Jon & his staff are always extremely friendly & I have never felt like I was being sold something I didn t need. Everyone here is very honest & will tell you like it is as well as give you options. I have been in Murfreesboro all of my life & this was the first mechanic that has been 100% honest with us every time. Fair prices, great work & honest people. 10/10!!

I brought Jon and his team a Jeep Wrangler with a seriously damaged engine. He gave me multiple options and tried the cheapest of the repairs before we knew the full extent of my problems. I decided to replace the engine with a new warranty backed engine. They have gone above and beyond the typical shop. I am a firm believer in earning people's trust. Jon and his team have definitely earned my trust. I work out of town during the week and I have received multiple text with pictures and video of the issues found by him and the team. You will not find ma.ny people that will treat you like Jon's Auto Service. They are truly honest and want the best for your situation. The entire staff has been friendly and treated me great. I researched multiple shops prior to going to Jon's. He has a solid reputation with his clients, I can honestly see why.

I needed to get my hood latch repaired. I pulled up Jon came out took a look at it and I was provided a quote that day. He was also concerned that it could be the hood release cable but he was very upfront about that pricing as well. Bottom line great people to do business with, pricing is great. All of the employees there are wonderful and very friendly people. They now have a new customer!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My brother's old Corolla developed some weird symptoms just before the holidays. Jon and Tonya worked with us to leave it with them over Christmas for evaluation. Jon took time to actually drive the vehicle, replicate/confirm the issue, and feed back his findings so we could OK the repairs. The work (brakes) was well done and reasonably priced, especially considering time spent diagnosing actual cause instead of just swapping out parts. If you're looking for a real mechanic who can diagnose and communicate recommendations for your vehicle, I highly recommend this shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I had gotten a few quotes to replace my front axels on my 2011 Nissan 3.5 SR. This place had the best price and better quality parts that others quoted me. It was an easy decision. The staff (front desk and mechanics)couldn t have been nicer, and seemed to be more knowledgeable than other shops I had went to in the past. I mentioned that the air conditioner had a mildew smell, they quickly diagnosed it, the in cabin air filter was filthy. I had them replace it. They also spayed an A/C coil cleaner into my vents for me at no additional cost. I went to Jons about 2 years ago and have nothing but great things to say about his shop! Hands down the best mechanic around. I have had 4 vehicles repaired and maintained by him and wont go anywhere else. Fast, friendly knowledgeable and above all straight up honest mechanic!!!! Spent years of getting ripped off or dealing with shops selling me parts that I didn t need! Jon wont lie to you or try to sell you everything under the sun. His prices are very competitive and wont break the bank. He is an Ace mechanic. Not a salesman like these big box shops!!! Just want to say thank you for your hard work fast turn around and your honesty!!!!

Great service everytime I have visited. Gives honest pr8ces and delivers great work. On most recent visit, provided other options to repair a heater hose assembly for my vehicle. Had me fixed up virtually within a day and back on the road. Very courteous and helpful team all around.

After I've been told I need my battery replaced and possibly alternator by major company in town as well as quoted ridiculous prices on other repais I called this place strictly based on reviews. Not only did I not need a new battery but the fan repair John and his team performed was lower price. He also checked my brakes since he had the car which got replaced also at lower price than any other place. I miss my mechanic in Seattle who was strictly word of mouth but I found my new mechanic. Not only are John and his wife professional, nice with great sense of humor but honest and straight up with what you need now and what can wait. Good luck hearing that at major corporate shops when they need to be upselling. Thank you!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

So, we had to pick a mechanic in a new city and we happened upon Jon s. Turns out that they couldn t work on our particular problem, but they went SOOOOOO far above and beyond to help us solve our problem, that I would recommend them to anyone. I don t usually write reviews, but their help and support was so useful that they deserve the kudos.
