The team were extremely courteous, even suggested an alignment that was part of the tire package I had purchased prior with them. After service, they pointed out an issue that they could fix (tie rod end) but were never pushy about it. I'm scheduling the work with them because of the way they were honest and upfront without pushing a quick sale. Great team and work all around!

What's the point of booking appointments? I requested a time slot to be scheduled for an oil change and they confirmed it. When I got there I was told they would not be able to get to my car until the next day. My whole evening was planned around that appointment and I drove all the way out there for it. Such a waste of time! Why would they confirm the appointment if it wasn't a good time to come. Could they not of canceled it or called me and told me before I drove all the way there that it wasn't a good time? It's so frustrating and I will never go back becuse I need a place that is more reliable.

My wife and I had some problems with our vehicle while in the area for our wedding. The day of (Black Friday), I called around to figure out who was open and could look at it on short notice. Thankfully, this location said they could. Great! We could hear a suction sound coming from right behind the dash anytime we accelerated, so I knew it was something with the turbo. Either a loose/broken hose or a cracked pipe. Which I told them. My friend and I had looked to see if we could find where the leak was coming from, but being where it was, we weren t able to see it.I sat in the lobby for about 2 hours when they came and said that it was a clogged engine filter and a damaged mass airflow sensor. They got this from just running diagnostics and never putting the car on a lift to check for the problem that I informed them about. I took their word for it and they told me it would be a few hours for them to get the sensor in. So I left and came back when it was finished. Immediately upon driving away, I could still hear the suction sound. I called them and they said I could bring it back for them to look at either then or the next day (it had to be the next day because we were getting married that night). The next day, I went in and spoke to the branch manager. I let him know what happened and explained that we didn t have time to wait for them to look at it again as we were headed home to get on a flight for our honeymoon. I was a little annoyed that I had let them know what the problem was, and they chose to ignore me and fixed something that didn t need fixed. After talking for a bit, I conceded to just getting a refund for the diagnostics and labor while still paying for the parts. Which would be fine if the parts weren t so inflated. $800 for an engine filter and mass airflow sensor is insane. Especially when it didn t fix the problem. When we got back from our honeymoon, we took the car to our local shop, and lo and behold, it was just a hose that had come loose. One new clamp later, and it was good as new. Easily noticeable when it was put on a lift. This is just another one of those places that does the bare minimum while up charging everything to the maximum. I ll never set foot in a Firestone again, and I would suggest everyone else find a more reliable and honest mechanic.UPDATE: Firestone did reach out to me and after discussing what went wrong in this instance and how it could have been a better experience, they will be issuing us a full refund. I did receive an apology from the store manager admitting they should have done better. While our experience was not good, I ve bumped the review up to 3 stars thanks to their commitment to making things right.

I always feel the location on W College St. in M'boro take my car needs seriously but don't try to oversell me - as a single female, I've had that happen at other places. They explain what's important and what can be delayed if I need to .

I've been going to the College St location for 20+ years, have always had great service. This time, though, the fellas outdid themselves. I purchased new tires (Merry Christmas to me, right?) on Wednesday 12/20/23. Friday morning my car gave me a low tire pressure warning. It turns out I'd driven over some construction debris, there was a nail in one tire, a staple in another! So I called Firestone. Saturday morning, Christmas Eve-eve, they squeezed my car in, took care of the tires, checked the others. Thank you Jerry, David, & Zack!

This was by far the worst experience I have received. My husband and I went to take his truck to get a alignment. They did not do it right the first time because it would pull to the left. Two days later my husband told me to take the truck back for another one because we has a life time warranty, so I did. I went by myself because he had to work. They got the truck up in the air and spent maybe 20 minutes "fixing" it. I got the keys back and went to leave. I felt my gas pedal was very hard to push an making a hissing noise, so I called my husband before I left and he wasnt sure so told me to bring it home. He looked at the truck and said that the brake booster was going out. The truck had no issues before we took it to firestone. We called and he said that he has no idea how they could have caused the booster to go out and we need to tow the truck in for them to inspect it and that would be 21.99 and the part itself would be 260ish plus labor. We will not be taking it back there.

They are the most friendly staff. They let you know everything that is wrong with your car and what you need before they even touch it. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys

For starters I came to Firestone when I first bought my car. I came to get it look at to make sure everything was okay.Online it said the Inspection was free but when I got there I was charged for it that s fine. They said it all looked good and I was okay and I quote like a brand new car! . 2 weeks later I came back because something was off and I was told my brakes had rusted over. Why wasn t I informed when I came 2 week earlier!!! Why was told it was all good???Update:: Other than my first mishap. I ve had no problems with Firestone. They get me in and out fast and easy. They listen to all my concerns and keep me updated with everything.

I had an appointment at College St location at 11am on July 14 to put new tires on my vehicle . Two hours after arriving at the shop , still no sign of my car even being moved . I ask the young man at the desk why the long delay and if there was an issue that was causing service times to be unusually long. I expressed my concerns and let it be known that I did not want to be here all day ! I do not expect to be placed at the head of the line , nor did I that day either. When one has an appointment for service or a doctors visit or any such thing etc. , then one should be able to reasonably expect that they will receive that service in a timely manner. My vehicle was received at 11:08am and I paid the bill for service at 5:58pm. There is no reason , no reason that it took nearly 7 hours to have my vehicle serviced and returned to me on this occasion . I asked what the reason for such a delay might have been . I was told , ahh, we just got a little behind. I am very disappointed with the whole situation . This service appointment by far is the worse that I have experienced , but it certainly is not the only one that was less than customer approved when I have dealt with Mastercare locations.

I wanted to write about my experience with Firestone @ W. College Street. My daughter called and asked for a single tire to be put on our 2105 vehicle. She specifically asked to have the least expensive tire installed. When I went to pay, I was presented with a $297 bill!! When I asked the gentleman about it, his reply was "this is the least expensive tire we have for this vehicle" The fascinating thing is that he kept a straight face while telling me this rubbish!!I am cutting up the Firestone credit card and throwing it in the trash can. I am also calling the corporate office and letting them know about the quality of people (franchisee or corporate management) they have representing them!!This review is meant for future customers to avoid these dishonest people. It is not a matter of the dollars, it is a matter of trust! Once broken, it is almost impossible to mend!!

Quality work but every appointment I ve had (oil change and/or tire rotation), it is 3 to 4.5 hours of waiting in the lobby before they even bring my car to the garage to begin working on it. What the hell is the point of scheduling an appointment?!? This has been both on weekends AND weekdays. Very inefficient system they have going on and without a care in the world.Services: Tires, Oil change

Stay away from this location. It used to be the best now so much so. Made online appointment for oil change. Request 9:30 am. They sent email said one pm. Got the vehicle there at 10 am. Said I need my vehicle back by 5pm. Get to this place at 4:50 pm and my vehicle never moved . Go inside and the man takes my name after I stood there for 8/10 minutes to even be greeted. That s ok folks can be busy. To only be looked at like I was at the wrong place. He couldn t find my keys or my paperwork. So he goes outside and said oh well your next. I say sir I can t wait anymore because I have work to go to. Well he never said I am sorry or anything just gave me keys and said next. Wow. What a awful experience.

Disappointed. I had a flat. I brought the tire in to get fixed and was told it would be about 3 hours. I had driven over on the spare so instead of waiting there I said call me when it's ready. Six and half hours later I get a call. I go in and am told I now have to wait another three hours to get it put on. WTH?Update: They came out after an hour and a half to tell me oops the tire wasn't ready after all.Service: Tires

I went in on 11/13/19 for 2 new tires. The guy at the desk was courteous. When my tires were done and I paid for them, I went and got in my car. There were 2 lights that were on. One was the tpms which I know it has to reset. The other was the check engine light. Those were not on when I got there. I ve never had any lights on other than the tpms light the entire time I ve owned the car. I get all of my service done at the dealership. I have every service record on it since 2013. So I go back in and let the guy at the desk know about it and immediately the guy who did the tires(tall skinny guy)got all defensive even though I was calm. He said that it was on when we got there. It wasn t. He continued to mumble whatever he was saying. So instead of arguing with him I just said I d be back. So my wife went in there and he continued his very poor customer service with her. Eventually another guy who was actually very nice said that he would check the codes with his scan tool. The code read invalid data received from TCM . At 1st I didn t know what that meant. I did some research and it turns out that an invalid shift can cause that. Which means that the guy who changed the tires probably didn t know how to put it in gear. Which is understandable. My 1st Time in the car I couldn t figure it out either. But instead of admitting it, he got all defensive and lied about the light being on when he got in the car. So the nice gentleman who scanned the codes reset it for me and it s been fine since then. The tall skinny guy should not be allowed to be around customers. They need to just keep him in the shop. I will not go back to this location as long as he works there.

Excellent service! I can't say enough about Jerry and the team! I managed to get a lug bolt stuck in my tire, I called and Jerry took care of the issue, including having to drive over, all resolved well under 45 minutes!

Had an appointment to drop a truck off Saturday morning for new tires. They said it would be finished that afternoon. Sunday i had not heard anything so gave them a call when they opened, i was told it would be finished in a couple of hours. 30 minutes before they close i still had not heard anything so drove up there, the truck had not been moved they gave me excuses for why it hadn t been done. If i hadn t have driven up there i would have had no vehicle for work the next day. If they couldn t get it done they could ve at least called to update me that it was not going to be complete. Total waste of time and will not be doing business with them in the futureService: Tires

I went in this morning to the store on west college with an appointment to have an issue looked at. I waited ten minutes for someone to check me in even though they saw me through the glass. Then he tells me that I don t have an appointment. He just stares at me. I was not offered for them to work me in or to make another appointment. He was rude and unaccommodating and had no customer service skills whatsoever. This is the third time in a year and a half that they have told me I didn t have an appointment. Probably a good thing as he looked very young and inexperienced and I wouldn t have wanted him to work on my car. I ve used them for years however I will never again use them. Very negative experience

I came here on 11/19/2022, where at first I scheduled an online appointment for an oil change at 5, but I didn't wanna wait so I called and they had me rescheduled at 3:30. I get there at 3:15, and they immediately took my keys. I figured it would be fast because it was just an oil change and filter. Well, I waited 2 hours until I asked what was wrong, everyone was gone, the technicians we're all just goofing around and on their phone and the guy who was sitting in the lobby taking calls and checking people out asked the techs what was happening. Apparently they ordered the oil filter when I got there (2 hours ago) and never even bothered to look to see if it ever arrived. I sat there for two hours with my 8 month old waiting for a quick oil change to take 2 hours with noone telling me anything about me having to wait for a filter or anything.. I only gave it one star extra because the guy in the lobby was nice and changed the channel to cartoons for my 8 month old to watch.. probably won't go here again if they won't keep you updated about a your car.

Quick and easy trip. I scheduled everything I needed online dropped off my car, it was finished in less time than I was quoted. Staff was friendly and their work was excellent. I love that I can have all my car maintenance needs taken care of in one place!

Made an appointment, which was pointless as after 3 hours, they still hadn't even pulled my car in. The alignment computer was down, so they couldn't do alignments. It was just a really long oil change. Not impressed. Why have appointments if they mean nothing?

Engine fire: In Oct 2022 I got an oil change. I drove less than 1/2 mile after picking up my truck & the engine caught fire and went up in flames. My car was destroyed and sent to salvage. Thankfully I was able to get out of the car in time. It was very traumatic & scary. Bad experience here. Glad I had insurance.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
