My husband and I needed our transmission rebuilt on our s10. We had heard good things about them from our nephew who had his done there. Brian was very friendly, and kept us up to date on what was going on. Our truck now shifts smoothly, and like it should. He told us to periodically check for leaks, and if anything came up to call them, and bring the truck back so they can check it out, and fix it. Thank you so much Brian and your crew for getting us back on the road, and for the quick service. Wonderful job all of you. Will definitely recommend you all.

Called and asked for an estimate of service on my 20-year old truck. Instead of just shooting me a price, they said they recommended doing diagnostics to make sure that really was the service I needed. So I asked how much diagnostics would cost - and was surprised when they said FREE! A lot of shops only apply cost of diagnostics to repair bill, but they assured me it really was free and not required to repair there. That s fantastic- and I brought my truck in. They were knowledgeable about the symptoms I described, did the diagnostics to confirm what repairs were needed- and then fixed my truck same day at a very reasonable rate.I m very pleased with the service, and my truck is shifting as it should! Highly recommend!

Had my car serviced there and had an issue 1 month later. They honored their word on the warranty and got it back to normal. Very good place would definitely recommend for anything!Brian was awesome!! Great guy! Thank you man. Bob and Nicole's son!God bless

Update;Ty for the offer but no ty. Upon getting it to the mechanics shop he looked it over and. Found out it just needed s battery and to replug the harness that was detached at the transmission....I appreciate that u have all the experience you have but I would have been mad aying the almost 4k u quoted me for the 200 I paid between the battery n 3hst the mechanic charged me...I am back on the road ty thoThey charged me a towing fee after they said they were not going to charge me a towing fee that I could have a tow truck come pick it up cost me 125 in towing fees even tho the tow truck driver was told no that I had an outstanding bill with them which is not true

I got charged to tow my vehicle from Coleman transmission twice bc they stated I had an outstanding debit with them for a towing charge to them they quoted me 4k to rebuild the transmission well I paid there petty butts the lil 225 they asked for to get my vechile released so I could get my vehicle apon taking it to my mechanic he looked it over an it needed a new battery an the shift solenoid plug replugged in I spend all of 200 bucks an I'm back on the road they were just trying to rip me off I would have been mad if I actually paid them the almost 4k an it didn't fix it I'm just glad my mechanic figured out what was wrong with it it cost me double of a towing fee which was 218.50 plus Coleman petty towing fee of 225 so I spent almost 500 in towing fee when i should have only had to pay i once I think there a joke an scam artist bc the man the main owner said he had been in this business for over 40 years then how come y'all quoted me 4k knowing all that was wrong with it was a plug that's just crazy we won't use them for nothing else

Came in to get my husband and I s car transmission fixed and they were amazing. They handled everything with our warranty company as fast as they could and once they got the approval to do it they had the transmission swapped out very quickly. Definitely recommend them if you need quick service and good friendly customer service.

Had my 2011 Chevy Impala taken here (Munford location) for a full transmission rebuild. Coleman Taylor offers complimentary towing on major repairs, so they towed my car to the shop for free. Car got there on a Tuesday, the work was done and the car was ready to go three days later on Friday. QUICK SERVICE.I spoke with Brian who was very professional and helpful. Fair prices too, full transmission rebuild cost me $3654 out-the-door, including tax, which also included a 1 year warranty.Would HIGHLY recommend Coleman Taylor for your transmission needs, staff was very friendly and helpful, and it s clear they re running an honest business.Service: Transmission

They did an awesome job for my transportation company.. I had tried other transmissions shops and they were unsuccessful in fixings the issue I had.. Was satisfied with work performed on our transmission until it started to slip again on 10/23 (Friday night) which is 2 days before our one year warranty expired...They are close on weekends and there was no way to contact them to let them know of the problem. Praying they will still honor their warranty. Don't know how to rate until we see the outcome of our situation!

They did a full trans flush as preventative maint., was not having a problem with the vehicle. 50 miles later all I have is 2nd gear in the automatic. Called the mgr. instead of saying bring it in let me see if we performed the flush correctly, cleaned the strainer he said, you ve burned up the bands. I ve burned up the bands in 50 miles? Then proceeded to tell me it can be rebuilt for 1600-1800. I was reluctant to come here in the first place. My gut feeling was correct.Service: Transmission

My 2001 mustang needed work done to the Clutch. They put a new one in. Ive been having some trouble and plan to go back into the shop to get it looked at. Upon calling them they showed much care in making sure everything is made right. I have heard from multiple people that they are good on their word. This means a lot when i have been taken advantage of in the past by other car repair shops.

Had a transmission put in my vehicle, 14 months later had to get another one rebuilt! The torck converter screws where not put back in correctly or tightened- they came completely out while I was driving. Took it back to the shop, they fixed it but it still had issues with it. Took it back again- it was dragging/vibrating when accelerated from 30 mph to 60 mph- they had it for over a month.... try to charge almost 1000.00, which we refused to pay due to warranty from having the transmission totally rebuilt & having issues since getting the car back. Well, needless to say- after they kept the vehicle for over a month, replaced front yoke & rear housing case, it is still NOT fixed. Doing the exact same thing it was doing when we took it to them! Spent over 5000.00 with them on this vehicle & due to us refusing to pay from their neglegance they wrote on the recipient "No warranty implied or written".

I was very impressed by the quality of service. I am very particular on who works on my truck but I fully trust and would recommend coleman Taylor transmission.
