Our truck had broken down in the express way we got a tow to this location. God put them on our path for a reason. We were driving from Chicago to get to Florida and thought we would be stuck there a few days. They did everything in their power to get the part we needed and had it ready the same day a bunch of hard working guys. The whole time we were there they had cars going in and out working fast and efficiently. God bless this place and the people who work there would 100% recommend.

Driving from Tennessee to Florida, we had the engine light go off. The car terribly shaking. We crept into the shop. Like an hour before closing, they immediately started, Working on the car. They diagnosed the issue and fixed and had us on our way. They also charged a very good price on the fix. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Spent the weekend at The Caverns camping. Went to leave and car was not having it. Was recommended Mountain Auto and could not be happier we gave them a call. From towing to the repairs everything was easy and quick! Super friendly service and did not nickel and dime us like some shops do. Could not recommend more!

Traveling to Atlanta and the change oil light comes up showing 2%. Quickly looked online and found amazing reviews on Mountain Auto Sales and Service. Stopped in and Flip and his team changed the oil and us out in less than 20 minutes.Amazing customer service and very friendly.

Was having overheating and other issues with my 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Pulled off the road to be rescued by Butch who referred me to Flips place. Inspected the car, got me what I needed, gave me good advice and I was able to compete the drive from Orlando to Wisconsin. They saved my bacon. Naming my car Butch Flip. I appreciate the fair dealing I received at Mountain Auto Sales and hope to bring the boys to BBQ the next time I'm driving through. Knowledge, fairness, and care. Great shop.

Great place and absolutely professional service. We were traveling heard a noise on a wheel. The owner test drive and fix a rock inside the wheel shield. They did not want to charge us.Thank you

OMG!!! Where do I begin it has been one thing after the other with my truck all day. I came through coming from Ga headed to Pasco, Washington. The Pilot Truck Center sent me here because its 100+ degrees outside and now the AC has quit in my truck.I am pulling a trailer behind my truck and it has been a nightmare of a day.My poor kitty cats are burning up with me in this truck with NO air conditioning;I seriously think God blessed me with finding them.Jacob, thank you so much for jumping on my truck immediately so I can get to Washington with the A/C working.I am praying I make it home cool and safeBECAUSE OF YOU..GOD BLESS YOU!!!!.Joe Hendrix

My daughter and I were traveling from Birmingham to Murfreesboro and we had car trouble. Flip and his crew were very helpful to diagnose the problem and fix the problem. It is nice to know good honest people still exist. I pray we don t need to visit Flip again, but it gives this mom peace of mind that my daughter has his card in her wallet!

OMG!!! Where do I begin .I came through coming from Fla. Went to this place due to problems with car.This Wonderful Man SKIP was my HERO. I had a blown motor due to oil change in Fla that was not done properly. I had to rent uhaul to tow my car back to Fla.which the closes was 23 miles away...This awesome man got me a ride to get truck & trailer then he loaded the car on the trailer for me in the rain..I seriously think God blessed me with him..This Man is awesome..Thanku so very much..I made it home safe BECAUSE OF YOU..GOD BLESS..Lisa Avalos

My daughter had car trouble on Monteagle while traveling. Flip, the owner, towed the car and fixed it quickly. His communication and honesty with what what needed to be done was much appreciated, especially when we knew no one else in the area. We highly recommend Mountain Auto Sales and Services if you need repairs in the Monteagle area.

We were passing through town (from MN to FL) and having some truck issues. We thought it was the alternator and called the shop. The guys informed us they typically don t work on diesels but that we could bring it by and they would do the work for us! We were super happy they would be able to get us in so soon. Upon arrival, they guys at the shop listened to what we had going on, looked the truck over and tested the alternator. They soon found the problem that was causing our starting issue. Even though it didn t get them a potentially expensive job, they honestly told us what was going on. They even were awesome with our two dogs who were in the truck when we pulled up. We are so grateful for their help and would highly recommend them to anyone needing car/truck repair. They are close to the highway for travelers with issues like us! Real, honest and trustworthy mechanics are hard to find these days and these guys are all that and then some!

We were broke down at the pit stop right out of Monteagle on a Friday night. They were closed that Saturday morning but we got ahold of the owner, who was super nice. He called his mechanic (who NEVER works Saturdays) and he brought a trailer to pick us up within 20 minutes. Ordered the part on the way to the shop, was very polite to us and understanding, and he had our car fixed/on the road within a few hours. Another amazing thing was while we were waiting the owner and his wife were the nicest people ever as well. His wife drove us to the gas station! They talked to us, made the wait seem short, and were just so nice. These WONDERFUL people showed us such kindness it really made the hard trip we were having so much better. I wish we could give them more than 5 stars. Best people we met on the trip.

Nice honest folks. My car was having problem on a road trip from Atlanta, and I was far away from home (Up North). My car could not go above 30 miles on the interstate.I was worry that I would be stuck on the road alone, and having to spend a lot of money which was not plan. I when to Mountain auto, the guy there tested my car and said I got bad gasoline. He put seafoam in my car, and I did not have any other problem on the road.Thank you so much, from a female who doesn't know much about cars. If I met the wrong person they could have taken advantage of the situation.

Bought 4 vehicles from them so far and if my cars need service that's where I take them. Just a friendly small town mechanic shop. They are great and very reasonable with prices.

Firday night we had our car break down on the side of 1-24. Called saturday morning when they first opened and asked how much it would cost to get my alternator replaced they were honest with my husband and i and had the part at the shop before we even got there. We were worked on and gone within an hour. I highly recommend. They were very nice too.

We were traveling from Atlanta to middle Tennessee a week ago, with a used vehicle we had just bought that day, when we discovered, after coming out eating lunch, we had a flat tire! It was a cold and rainy day. We contacted Mountain Auto and they immediately sent someone ("Castro") to us with an air pump and pumped up the tire where we could follow him to the garage. They immediately fixed the flat and we were on the way. They were so nice, helpful and accommodating!! I would highly recommend them!

Traveling to Florida from Missouri and had a wheel bearing go out on our trailer. Mountain Auto worked us into his schedule immediately and repaired it. He also inspected and greased the other 3 wheels on the trailer to make sure they were all good. Very professional and reasonably priced.

I just want to start off by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart ! You guys went above and beyond for me and my family ! We moved to Tennessee from Ohio with some friends of ours we were in TN for two weeks and things went south between us and our friends . Needless to say my fianc� and myself we packed up our two kids (1&2) and everything we had With us at the time and set out to Florida to be w family . Well about an hour into our trip we got a flat tire. Mind you we already had our donut on from a prior flat. So we pull off of 24 at truck stop and come to realize all the used tire places were closed for that day (it's 730-8 at night) so we had to stay the night at the truck stop in our car w our children stuck in Tennessee. After driving 7 miles on a flat on the side of the highway to get to this truck stop. We woke up at 630 that morning waiting for places to open. About 8 am I get on google and find this place . I called them and asked them if they had the tire that I need and how much. We went there (drove another .5 mile on our flat) . He replaced my flat and my donut w two good tires. Rotated and balanced them all for 100$ . Then proceeded to check all of my fluids and GAVE (didn't charge us) a THIRD decent tire to have not one but TWO SPARES . When we went to leave we tried to give him an extra 20$ and he would not take it. He said no were sticking w what we agreed on you guys are in a much worse situation then I am in just glad I was able to help I don't want no one w there children stuck in the side of the road. I just want you guys to make it safe. IF YOU ARE TRAVELING AND YOU HAPPENED TO RUN INTO A CAR PROBLEM THEY DO MORE THEN CAR TIRES! IF YOU CAN MAKE IT THIS PLACE IN MONTEAGLE TENNESSEE I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT ! BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD !!! Thank you so extremely much ! And we DID MAKE IT FLORIDA WITHOUT ANOTHER ISSUE!!!!!!!

Coming up the mountain my steering wheel stopped working, battery light came on, and my Mercedes overheated. I feared the worst. It s so hard to find anyone that can work on a Mercedes. I came to mountain auto, and the found a belt was broken and causing all the issues. Had everything fixed in an hour and the repair was 150ish dollars. This would have been over a 1000 dollar repair at the Mercedes dealership. I can t thank these guys enough! Great job!!

Put Mountain Auto in your contacts if you travel this area. Out of state daughter had to leave disabled auto in area after late night breakdown on way back to college. Based on positive reviews I called Mountain Auto the next morning and FedEx'ed key to shop. Promptly provided a tow and fixed car in a timely manner for a very fair price. Great, honest service still exist and I found it at Mountain Auto. Thanks !

My wife and daughter were traveling to FL from IL when their car broke down. Mt Auto adjusted their schedule to prioritize work on my daughters car. While waiting they ask my wife and daughter if they wanted to join them for lunch which they did. They charged a very reasonable price. Ironically, several hours later the car had another breakdown near Atlanta. Mt Auto worked with the Atlanta mechanic to explain what they had repaired and to help diagnose the new issue. I greatly appreciate they efforts and customer service.

Great people. We broke down on our way to florida. They gave us presidential service. We had to stay in a motel while vehicle was being repaired. Mountain Auto did more than just repair our vehicle. They recommended a great motel, drove us there, and talked to the owners, he knew who then gave us a discount. We were WOWed. Thanks Mountain Auto for doing such a great job of taking care of complete stranger.

Got trapped off the highway on an unknown issue, thought it was the transmission... tried a new fuel pump... no check engine light, but these guys are amazing and through diagnosing, they figured our problem out and fixed our issue. The mechanics back home had no idea there was even an issue...10/10 would recommend if you're travelling through here or live nearby and need a good mechanic shop that won't screw you

Horrible. Bought a car from this place car had oil leak. They say oh bring it back in so we can make it rite. They had my car for a month didn't touch it for the first 3 weeks. Once they supposedly had it fixed they charged me to pick it up after the owner said there would be no charge and to top it off once I'm home I have a mechanic look it over. To find the trany is only held in by 3 bolts barely all the others are missing and the rest of the bolts and screws under the hood are barely in and several others missing. Maybe I'm the only person that's been screwed over by this car lot or maybe not. I do know their mechanic is horrible my 15 yr old son could do a better job and the owner well he is sorry for allowing this crap in his shop.
