Do not use this repair shop unless you want to spend a lot of money and waste a lot of time. Had my truck towed there on the 17th of June due to transmission failure. The part has a two year unlimited mile warranty so the original shop shipped in a new transmission for the replacement. I was told the truck may be ready by the 26th of June so I flew back to Memphis only to be told it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday. Stayed in a hotel for three days ubered to the shop to be told it's still not fixed and I was told that the inertia brake needed to be replaced. Once again the original shop sent the part. The part arrived Friday morning on the holiday weekend (4th of July). I noticed my truck didn't move from the spot it was parked in because I went outside and marked the spot. The truck was never moved and the mechanic claimed to replace the inertia brake. When did he do it when he was working on another truck in the shop? I believe they kept the part. By the end of the day I was told they couldn't get the service light to turn off and the fault fixed and I could take the truck. Why did it take until June 30th before I was able to get the truck back and the service light was still on because they didn't realize the wiring harness needed to be replaced. On top of that they charged $3298.97 for dropping a transmission and putting in a new one. If I could give them zero stars I would. This is one of the reasons why owner operators are being put out of business dealing with inflated repair costs and shady repair shops. Avoid them at all costs would be my advice to anyone needing any type of repairs.

The dreaded oil leak when you're under a load OTR. Contacted these guys for a service call. They came out, diagnosed correctly, got us to their shop, and repaired our problem. NGL, the price, although fair, was still a shock. You know how it is, hard to let go of hard earned bucks. BUT!!!!! But, 580 miles down the road, we're on time for our delivery, and the repair and replace job is top-notch. We are very grateful and will definitely go back next time we need help. Special thanks to our mechanic, Chase. Very professional, knowledgeable, and a nice guy.

I recommended this place to an old buddy of mine, and he was very pleased, as was I. Jacob Johnson is hardworking, honest, and easy to work with when getting stuff fixed in a timely manner. I found it shocking when I saw some of the bad reviews, but after looking at the profiles for people who left the bad reviews, I saw that's really the only time they left reviews. So I really believe all these other people who had "bad experiences" are just people who are just hard to please or want something done for dirt cheap. With this place, you get top-tier work done on your truck for what it's worth. So, skip all the bad reviews, I recommend this place to anyone who needs diesel work done and experience it yourself. My friends and I will bring business here every time. Thanks to crew here who work so hard making sure our trucks are top tier.

Jake is a great guy with a good crew. They have everything from experienced mechanics to young greenhorns. Jake is constantly finding young men and trying to give them a new career path. I ve personally seen him make special accommodations time and time again to get trucks back on the road. Keep up the good work!

Did NOT do a thing that they agreed to do but instead gave us the run around while they held our truck 4 days past the time they said and then gouged us with the price while making it a very difficult process just to pay them their insane price. Very unprofessional establishment. Don't recommend sending your enemy there. Do yourself a favor and keep searching.

We had our truck repaired in this place. The work was done qualitatively and quickly, the staff was always on the phone and answered all questions that arose. Thank you very much for the service and attitude to customers.We always recommend this service to all our friends!

Came in for dpf cleaning and kingpins. They got the job done same day. Great group of people. Highly recommend this shop. The owner and staff are cool. A wonderful place to get work done quick and at a reasonable price. They don t rush repairs and the double check everything they do. Thank you to the shop and staff for the hard work and great job.

Came to fix tail light on brand new trailer,They cut tail light frame and weld it. And charge me for 2h labor (1h is for cutting and welding). After I ask how much longer they say couple hours, I say that s fine we would like to leave and won t pay anything. 2 min later they found connector issue.Stay away, overcharging on labor and doing unnecessary repairs to make you pay for it

This place is a dang awesome! I RECOMMEND these guys highly they have always got my trucks done really fast and done a a freaking amazing job at it! The owner is a very honest and kind. I definitely will be back here next time I need anything done. Keep up your great work!

Overcharged. Do not recommend. They do their work but they hold your truck. Simple problem will hold you all day and you need to pay for that.

Thank you Mr Jacob and the United Diesel for getting me in fast to get my Kenworth fixed in record time. I called and explained my problem and told them I m short on time and have to make a delivery. This is today on a Saturday and if I miss this drop off I ll be stuck with load for who knows how long. Jacob diagnosed my kenworth knew exactly why I derated and got my fuel sensor switched out in less than a hour. He even made sure my truck was good to go since it s DOT inspection week. Got all my tires filled up and fixed a short in my turning signal last minute. I m grateful for there top customer service, honesty, and high IQ on Trucks. I Definitely recommend them!!!

Please avoid this place truckers too. $$$$$$.. 2 star just because they took me right away .. mechanic doesn t know what they are doing .. my oil seal was leaking they fixed it but they told me my u bolt was lose and I didn t know how.. I told them to tighten it they said need to put new one and said Volvo dealers don t have it .. took my truck to Arkansas they fixed it in 10 minutes $20 .. never going again

Honestly the best shop I've been to. Honest and professional. They will fix it fast and let you know if there is more to fix. What tag trick center screwed up these guys had fixed in a day. Prices are way more reasonable than any other shop in Memphis. They don't push you to fix what you don't want to fix. They also work with warranty companies to get your semi rolling. If you want it done right these are the guys to get it doneServices: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

I absolutely love this place. I called ahead and they had an opening for me. When I got there, Caleb got right on it and had my problem fixed very quickly. Everyone I saw was working hard and were very polite. Jake was very fair very nice! I will be coming back!

I've never had work done at this shop but I was going through Memphis today and my chain box on my headache rack broke off so I lost five brand new chains in five brand new binders. I think the guy's name is Jake pulled up behind me in a bobtail and told me to get in and he would take me to get my chains since I was pulling flatbed it was pretty much impossible for me to do. I was going to have to leave them. We backed back down the side of the interstate with bumper to bumper traffic and he helped me retrieve my chains and binders out of the middle of the interstate. Not many people would do that these days. Thank you so much.

Real professional staff and an outstanding ownership by mr Jacob, I went there for truck inspection and I was truly surprised of how fast they got my truck inspected with all the work they have. I highly appreciate and recommended for all diesel trucks.

The in and out nox sensors on my ISX went out today. Called these folks and got me straight in and done in just a few hours. Steven was a great mechanic and I'm thankful they got me in. Every other shop was telling me two to three weeks. Thanks for the awesome job and I highly recommend you give these folks a try if you need service.

had electrical work done here. The young man who fixed the problem was outstanding. knew exactly what to do. he communicated to me throughout the process. The only bad thing here is paying 3 hours of labor when the work took slightly under 2.5 hours. They actually started labor time before i arrived?! (sorry but my ELD has never lied about when i stop and start driving) . i did make this known as unfiar but they proceeded to cheat on the price regardless. This is my truthful experience. great tech, unfiar business practices..Service: Electrical

I had some major air conditioning problems. It was 90� outside and I was desperate to get it fixed. I called United diesel ahead of time so when I got there I knew I had to wait an hour or two before they could get to me. They got to me in that amount of time and told me it would take some time to get it fixed. One of their mechanics give me a ride to a local hotel and I stayed the night. I came back the next day and waited in their lounge area for truckers. Comfortable seats and a good television. Jacob asked me if I had a jacket, because that air-conditioner was blowing cold air for sure. Definitely give them five stars for service and friendliness. I m also impressed with the fact that they get back with any negative reviews to the person who gave the review. Honestly, goes along way with me. Great work Jacob

I am regretfully have to rate this place at 1 start due to overcharge. It appears the shop charges for the wait time. If they do not have the part and they need to get it, Know that you will be charged for it. Also make sure that they do any extra work, as it appears that the shop performs (or asserts that it performed) totally unrelated, unnecessary work and charge you for it. Do not recommend this place. Stay away. Jacob, your unprofessionalism and in-competence is thru the roof. Thank you for the terrible service.

Imagine replacing a hose clamp in less than 5 minutes and charges $476. it s insane.I was 22 miles away, round trip & was charged 26, not 50 miles as the owner claim.Jeff is awesome though. In my 7 yrs of trucking this is the worst and most outrageous charge I ve experienced. Never again

Called Jake Friday morning 7/28/21 and explained that I was having clutch issues. I asked is there anyway he could have me ready to roll by Sunday because I was under a load. He said he would check and get back to me. Then he called me and said yes. I dropped the truck off the same day and in less than a day they did a full clutch install. Manwel called me Saturday and explained that during the test drive the oil coolant line was damaged and that the truck would not be ready till Monday. I was devasted because I was now facing a full day loss of income and a rate reduction for what was now going to be a late delivery. I called Jake and he had one of his guys open the shop on Sunday and track down the just and make the repairs at no additional cost to me. He didn't have to but he did. They did spectacular work. It was a bit pricey but given that it was done in a day and the fact that he had his shop open on Sunday to fix the damage that occurred during the install was well worth it. Jake and his team are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. This is my third time using them and anytime I'm home in Memphis and need something major that can't wait, I will trust his shop to do the work. Respectfully,DRIFTER LLC

Poor professionalism. I will not be using this shop again. I spent 5 hours only to have the owner blame me for misdiagnosis on my own truck. I need to find a real shop not a shop that is going to throw parts at my truck. Oh, my truck is still making the same noise is was before I drove it in. $600 dollars waisted. Sorry Jacob I thought I found an honest shop. I spoke very highly of this shop to other driver. But after my recent experience I wouldn't recommend anyone using their services.

A friend and I were passing though Memphis headed to Nashville when our car almost had a tire blow out on the highway. We were in the middle of nowhere when it happened and it was already 8pm. All tire shops were closed. I found United Diesel Power on google and immediately called. They were very honest about being a semi truck repair shop and that they most likely were not going to be able to help fix the issue but did assure us they would inspect and we could even leave it overnight if need be. They were so gracious to allow us to bring our car in. They were able to determine that a belt had snapped inside our tire. Though they did not have the actual tire to repair it they did help us by switching it from the front driver side to the back. This saved us for the evening and we were able to make into downtown to stay the night.Without a doubt we would have had an entirely different outcome if they didn t open their doors to us. We are so thankful for y all! Also thankful for the safety advice

Very honest and fair business - work done was exactly as it had been discussed and they didn't drag their heels to try and make more on "shop time". Did a great job getting my fuel tank repaired and helped with locating a local, overnight hotel to stay at. I would definitely use them again when in the Memphis vicinity.
