Terrible customer service skills. On today my sister went to this location after she spent over $1200 to rent a truck and tow(on yesterday) for this girl to be rude and nasty. Not only after she was being rude to my sister she began to behave the exact same way towards me. After I spent $1,070 with this company only for this uhaul employee girl to pop her knuckles at me as if she wanted to fight. We were held up for her poor behavior to get nothing accomplished. She then spoke with the manager and at this point she was nonverbal with us. She refused to give her name and the managers number. Needless to say we wasted time dealing with her. She also said we were harassing her which is a total lie. She does not need to represent this company at all because she displays unprofessionalism. The time we wasted with her I could have been loading my uhaul up. We are behind now and have a 7hour drive

1 star is a nice review for this place. I showed up for my 10 AM appt to get a hitch installed and was told I d have to come back because the guy who does them wouldn t be in until 12. Came back and was told that I d be an hour and half tops- THREE hours later I asked the girl with long braids sitting on her phone at the desk for an update and she pointed to the shop door behind her and said I could could go see for myself, then proceeded to look back down at her phone. The guy looked like he didn t have a clue what he was doing and when I got home I noticed 3 separate, deep scratches on the bumper of my 2024 brand new vehicle. Icing on the cake was I sat in the lobby for 3 hours listening to the most unprofessional, disgusting conversations involving the employees sex lives, and even heard them cussing over having to actually assist a man who came to pick up a vehicle. Y all should be ashamed of this place you call a business.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This whole crew is disrespectful and incompetent. I m moving my belongings in and asked very specifically if a trailer can be backed into the space so I can move my stuff. I asked 3 times prior to my moving and was told yes. Once I get my movers here these incompetent individuals told me I could not back my trailer in(even though it would fit) they are rude and after this month I will not be renting space from this ghetto establishment.Also , the comment below me that s explaining her experience is very true. the picture she posted is literally the same female that was rude towards me and my movers. She needs to be fired and the manager needs to also be fired

If you re looking for a job. Please don t waste your time here. I m convinced you got to be family or friends to work at this location. After an employee James said they were hiring, my son did an application. He was super excited because the GM Liz texted him back within a few days. She set him up a trial shift which in the text said it s a working interview. So he s learning everything that was taught and made sure he is doing his tasks right. If you re wondering how I know is because I was sitting in my vehicle watching. After the trial shift interview she paid him cash. We knew for sure she would call or text with the next steps. Nope nothing. A few days went pass so he text her.. still nothing. A few more days went by and he text again, minding you that he was eager to get this job and still nothing. Liz the right thing to do in this case was to respond saying you moved foward with another candidate instead of having people waste their time texting you for you to not respond. Pour reputations of the Uhaul company. Liz the GM shame on you and James the employee who told us this location was hiring shame on you too because you knew your wife Liz only hire family and friends

Dirty truck, high mileage, roof leaked, belongings got wet and was very noisy. Was also full of rattles. Very disappointed. Worst truck I ever rented from U Haul.

This location is extremely unprofessional. The cashier was having a video call during my rental transaction. The truck was not cleaned or completely filled with gas. I mentioned it to the attendant and she responded "don't worry about that". I finished early & returned the truck full of gas. They charged me for what seemed to be the previous driver's mistake.Then, I disputed the charge only to NOT be refunded and charged an additional late fee I did not authorize on my card!If you can go to any other location but this one. I have never had an issue like this until I went to this location. I'm so upset and it seems as if no one is willing to assist.Finally after being on hold and hung up on, my refund is being processed 3 weeks later.Anywhere is better than here. Don't waste your time or money with the Austin Peay Uhaul location. It's not worth it in the long run.

Service your vehicles. The truck I had sounded like a vacuum cleaner the check engine light was on windshield was cracked I reserved a dollie but there weren t any availabe at this location. So it took me longer than anticipated.Then I was told I would be charged an inconvenience fee of $50 for not having the truck back on time, but I was inconvenienced as well. My reservation location was hwy 64 at 3pm, as I m arriving to the location I received a text to go to a different location because they didn t have any available trucks, so I had to drive 20 mins out of my way, and you charge by the mile. I specifically chose hwy 64 because it was close to the location of the move. No dolly (as I stated), the return gas level was wrong(I took pictures and video).So being a Uhaul customer for over 20 years, I was very disappointed with this experience this time!

One star is actually toooo high!!! Location is unorganized, employees are poorly trained, and extremely rude and ghetto. U-Haul can not be that desperate for employees that they hire anyone with a pulse. Customer service is apart of the job, appearance is apart of dress code so I thought, I was insulted by an employee with bleach stains or her uniform and a blue wig for asking the employee emphasis on asking the employee that literally gets paid to help, to help

Terrible.im the 3rd person in line,the elderly lady in front of me has a walker.The kind with the wheels in front.this guy is suuuuuuupeeeerrrrr slooooooow.this poor lady has stood here for so long,she had to back up and lean on something.and yet no one has moved,the line hasn't moved in 20min now.And all I was doing was paying for my niece's storage unit...won't do this again.

Just going to share the feedback I provided on their move out feedback form:I rented the unit In a rush because I was moving out of town. By the time I was done loading my truck up to bring some stuff over, the office hours were closed, so it was late. I got to my unit and it had the former renter's lock still on it AND one of the foreclosure locks on it as well. I called customer service who reached out to the local manager. The local manager didn't answer so she left him a message. She also sent him an email and told me I would get a follow up. I got 0 follow up. I had to leave town the following morning and would not have time to stop by, so I assumed they would get it handled. Then I got a bill for another month. I went ahead and paid it knowing I would be back In a few days ago I could handle it then. I got in this last Sunday and was able to go by on Monday after work. The previous renter's lock was STILL there, the foreclosure lock was STILL there. So you had a month and a half to fix my access issue and NEVER did. The lady at the desk was nice when I went in though and she got my refund taken care of... she's cool at least.

I had roaches in the truck before I could even load my furniture tried calling the store but no answer I have pictures as well. I had to put gas in the U-Haul before I could head to my location wasn t the best experience for me.

On October 1st, 2022 at 7:15, the lady at the front desk finally decided to open the doors. After she rudely proclaimed she was the only one there so she had to open up later instead of being a little more professional and coming in sooner, she proceeded to get the dolly and pointed to the package moving blankets that I had pre-ordered and asked how many miles I was going to travel. I told her 45 because I didn't know and I knew it wouldn't be that many. After I was finished with the move, I returned the truck after only traveling 29 miles total and only using 1 bag of moving blankets. I asked for my money back for the miles and the other bag of moving blankets that remained unopened and unused. The same front desk lady said I couldn't have a refund on that. So, when they advertise that it will only cost $29.95 and $.99 per mile, they really mean, they'll charge a much as possible for people who decide not to map out the entire trip down to the mile. This store has garbage customer service. If I could rate it with 0 stars, I'd happily hit that button. I will not be using them or any other uhaul again because of this one encounter.

Vehicles are always reliable, but that is unfortunately the only good thing about our experience. 24/7 TruckShare (mobile phone enabled) pickup website didn t work, and this is the second time we have had website- and vehicle-inventory problems with this location. Customer service at the facility felt like I was talking with a robot just taking me through the process, not a person who wanted me to have any kind of a good day. We will be looking elsewhere for rental vehicle next time.

I came to this location on the 21st around 5:20 pm. Upon walking in the lady that was on her cell. I told her I had reservation and from there it went down hill. She was very short and rude with me. I asked her couple question and she literally kept turning the computer monitor around. I told her talk to me don't keep turning that monitor around as if You can't read to me what's on screen. She was absolutely no help and had the nerves to have an attitude with a customer. Hire people who wants to work and treat customers right.

I made a reservation online for a truck and utility Doyle. When I got to the store to pick up the truck they informed me that there aren't any Doyle's. There has been a complete shortage on Doyle's for over a year now. But why wasn't I notified before I arrived at the store. I booked the reservation like two weeks before I had to move. I am a petite, small woman I can't lift heavy things that's why I needed the Doyle. So I couldn't even move everything that I needed because of this. If I was given aheads up I could of acquired the proper man power I needed to move. This situation really put me at a big loss. I don't recommend going to them sorry.

The staff here is super helpful and hardworking. I have been renting some Ubox units for a few months now and they are stored at this Raleigh location. The staff is always very accommodating whenever I request access to my units. I have never witnessed them being short or rude with any customers which is a wonderful thing to say in this day and age. Nice job, Raleigh Uhaul staff!

See the man Agusta. He knows his job very well. Not afraid to give customers the best possible service. He fixed my hitch to the position I though it should be in also. Dean in Antler OK would not change it to be better suited for the drive. Dean's way had my chains dragging and wore them done until one chain disintegrated and started sparking when hitting the highway. It could have rolled my SUV and Uhaul trailer down off the highway. And Uhaul just gave Dean an award he so proudly showed me. SMH...really? I guess now days everyone gets a participation award. Agusta is the employee that should receive the award. I made it home safely.

The truck I had was not clean. It smelled then the tire pressure light and check engine light was on. The customer service is unprofessional the workers strong language and talking personal business in front of customers plus the smell of marijuana on the clothes of the workers
