Dealing with the staff at this facility was far from a professional experience. I had meticulously arranged a storage reservation back in January for my move across multiple states. After numerous confirmations, including a call from the facility two days prior to my move, they changed my reservation, stating they couldn't fulfill my request as needed to facilitate a semi truck to unload.The ensuing interaction with the manager further underscored their lack of professionalism. For those seeking storage solutions, I would recommend exploring alternative options. On a positive note, I had a totally opposite experience with Public Storage. They accommodated me promptly and treated me with maximum respect.

Professionalism at Uhaul location is poor and lacks quality customer service. I had originally made a reservation at Summer Ave location, prior to move-in date and the day of my move in I had got a call stating my reservation had been cancelled due to overbooking.I was overwhelmed and slightly frustrated so went to HWY 64 location and made a reservation for 12:00pm, for a 15 size truck, so I went back and spoke to the young lady and was told the lady who made my reservation didn t assign me a truck, and wouldn t be an availability until 4:15pm-5:00pm after I was promised a truck would be available at 12:00pm.I called customer service and was directed to Millington, for a 15 and apparently it was stated an truck would be available at 12:00, I get all the way to Millington was told my reservation wasn t sent there, but had confirmation and reservation number.I did eventually get a truck in Millington and was satisfied with customer there and it was a speedy process.

Had a reservation at 7:45pm, arrived at 7:55pm, they close at 8pm. No call or email and stated that they cancel all reservations at 7:45pm that aren t picked up right at that moment even though I could have had a reservation for 8pm. I will be giving bad reviews on all platforms, I recommend never using this location!

On pickup, nobody was at the front desk. I had to go track someone down out in the storage yard. I believe the woman and a man out in the yard were out smoking marijuana. The woman who came back to the front desk was not helpful. She made me figure the trailer out myself and was completely uninvolved in hookup. She didn t guide me in inspecting the trailer or signing off for anything, I just guessed at what I needed to do. The trailer was dirty inside and had a running light out which caused a hazard as I drove it during dark hours.From standing at the desk to driving off, I had to figure everything out myself. All she did was hand me the rental papers. None of which I signed.I would not recommend renting a U-Haul trailer unless it is a last resort. Definitely not worth the price paid.

They need to get better about maintenance. The rear passenger tire needs air like every 2 weeks. They don't put air in and the tire really needs to be replaced.

We reserved the place to drop our trailer and then also rentef out a storage unit( which as per the main center representative was booked after they took our credit card info.When we arrived they denied to take the trailer, and also gave us a uncleaned storage unit.After a month today we made another reservation for a small trailer and when we reached they didn't have it. And instead of saying sorry, the staff was very rude and not at all helpful.Here are a few pics and video of us cleaning someone else s stuff ourselves.

Easy to reserve online. The staff was excellent to let me know my truck was delayed coming in for pick up and extending my rental time accordingly.(I really appreciate that I didn't show up with no truck available.) The process to check out truck for damage before leaving premises and checking it back in are very efficient. My bill reflected actual mileage used and was correct. Our family has used vans from this location 4 times now.

The people working here are nice, but corporate was absolutely terrible when I just had my move.First, they changed my pick up time by an hour without telling me. Thankfully, the person brought the truck back earlier than expected, but the fact they didn't tell me they changed my booking bothers me.Second, they changed my drop off location after I already had the truck. I specifically picked a pick up location close to my old place, and a drop location close to my new place. They changed the drop off location to the one near my old place. They did send a text, but they waited until I was in the thick of moving boxes up and down stairs.Finally, the lack of flexibility the actual offices have due to the shenanigans of corporate made it difficult to work with them.

There's always that one staff member that ruins your experience, with that company! This particular staff member chose to try and force an issue and insult me, in front of another customer holding an arm baby. I am not your boyfriend, and you really should keep in mind that you're in a professional setting at work. I do not know what he/she did to you, and or why. I will definitely slide in a special prayer for you especially. I may even try another truck rental agency behind this experience.

This was such a bad experience that I plan on not using U-Haul again and will not recommend them in the future. The only good thing I have to say is the truck was somewhat clean, in that it wasn t completely filthy. Other than that, there were so many negative aspects. The glass on the dash was cracked with a hole in it you could stick your hand through, the truck was given to me with 1/16th of a tank of gas which required me to go straight to the gas station upon leaving, and the suspension was so terrible that every little bump in the road almost sent me airborne, not to mention the two dressers I had in the back which were damaged as a result. In addition, the truck smelled strongly of sweat and body odor. Also, I reserved online ahead of time in order to skip the line and go straight to my vehicle, but they had it behind a locked gate in a storage area that I could not access and was forced to wait in an office smaller than the bathroom in my home for 20 minutes even though I arrived 15 minutes early and there was only one person in front of me. Terrible experience overall.

To improve Provide a bit more details as if the person is new each time they rent from this location. The link to verify things took me by surprise and what to do required a few trips back in the office to clarify. The rep was excellent and patient though.

Very kind and nice personnel. Truck had low mileage and was very clean. On another note I had "reserved" equipment in Oxford, MS - but had to drive to Memphis, TN to get it. That added 3-4 hours to my move to Dallas, because I went from Oxford to Memphis and back to Oxford to load. This was very stressful. I realize that you can't guarantee equipment location - but this was very tough on me. I had to drive so many hours and felt quite tired by the end.

I've tried to reach people at the office several times with no luck. No matter what combination I press I end up going to the national call center with a 20 minute hold time. I was charged a cleaning fee and a refueling fee despite cleaning and refueling the truck myself before returning it. They charged me $25 for gas when I only drove 7 miles total and returned the gas tank at the same level that I got it. Even the paperwork shows that I picked it up at 3/4 and returned it at 3/4. I don't know what the cleaning fee was for because I returned it empty. I can't reach anyone or get an answer.

After I'd picked up the U-Haul and got to my destination, I realized after pulling up the back door that the dolly was already broken from the seal and was just laying in the truck bed. Immediately, I called the local phone number on my receipt to let them know so that I wouldn't be charged for it. I had to hold for about 10-15 minutes before I finally got someone, and when I did, it was someone at a call center in Arizona. I told him the situation and he assured me that he had made a note in the system and I would not be charged for this. When I turned in the U-Haul, there was a sign out front to wait to be checked out by a representative, but after waiting for about ten minutes, I decided to just go in. I was thinking that someone would accompany me back out to make sure that everything was okay, but I was told that the system was down and as long as I had put the requested gas amount back in and didn't go over the mileage, I was free to go and that I would be emailed a receipt. Imagine my surprise when I checked my email for the receipt a few hours later and not only had been charged for the dolly I was assured I wouldn't be charged for by customer service, I was also charged a $25 cleaning fee. When I called, of course, I was directed to an out of town call center and they could not tell me why I was charged the cleaning fee, so I sent an email to the email address on my receipt, to which I still have not gotten a response, and this was two days ago. Needless to say, I will never be using U-Haul for any services going forward, not even a different location. The entire experience was totally unprofessional, not to mention, that they have taken their payment out of my account in full with the unnecessary fees already, and I STILL have a pending charge for over $50 more on my account for some reason. Guess I'll have to call back through customer service and wait another 10-15 minutes on hold to see what that's about.

Worst customer service. The lady was not professional to start with. She was rude right from the beginning. Did not explain the rental process in a clear manner. She was just rambling. She would not check out the truck in a timely manner. It took me her more than 30 minutes to bring the truck. Then she have me a truck that did not have a functioning air conditioner in 90 degree heat. When I told her about it she made no attempt to replace it with another vehicle with a functioning air conditioner. I returned the truck at 6:45 and she had already closed and left. The office hours are till 7 PM. There we several customer s who arrived when I did and they all were complaining about this. I am never going to this location again.

Made a reservation for 6am, was planning to use the online check-in Truck Share 24/7 feature that was advertised. I receive a call the day before stating that I cannot pick up outside of business hours as they don t offer the online check-in even though it allowed me to schedule it like that. They told me I have to call all of the other locations to figure out who does and does not allow online check-in.

The person working the front-desk on the day/time I made my return, had an attitude, was unhelpful, and didn't even do their job of Officially checking me out.I had to call customer service later, and have them manually enter that I had returned the trailer. It's like, I knew the lady working the front desk wasn't going to do her job. I kept checking for my confirmation email, but never received it.Luckily, the person on the phone of the 1-800# (dare I call the trash front office) Was helpful. And was able to do the front-desk person's job for her, by manually checking my trailer out - hence me not getting overcharged.

Terrible service!!! The staff is extremely unhelpful. They refused to allow us to drop off our trailer though we had a scheduled drop off. The reason they gave us was that they were full and didn t have place to store more trailers and when we asked them if we could rent a different trailer they said they didn t have any. The statements they made were contradictory.Overall it was a terrible experience! I would pick any U haul location but this!!! The staff is inefficiency, lazy, unprofessional and utterly useless!!

Discriminatory facility with uneducated employeesThey changed my aging, disabled father's pickup location to here last minute. It was an additional 20 miles to drive.After paying a little over $300, he then needed to use the restroom due to the longer drive. They refused him access claiming the restroom wasn't for the "general public". I think the employee was too uneducated to know that a paying customer is different than the general public. That or they denied access due to disability or potentially ethnicity

This experience was a nightmare from the very beginning between the girl hanging up on my husband, then getting a message that they had reported the truck stolen even though we had contacted them every single day, then they overcharged us by about $300 and charged a card that we repeatedly asked them not to charge that we would pay cash when we dropped the truck off horrible experience very disappointed and will never ever use U-Haul again. I've also called customer service I've talked to three different people the issues not being resolved and they haven't offered to try and fix it in any way they just keep saying we got the best price guaranteed I think not

I booked my unit weeks in advance and it was not honored. On move-in day, I was told they didn t have any units left of the type I reserved. They did not honor my reservation and I was not informed. I was forced to pay for a more expensive unit since my movers were already there with the truck to unload. Rude employees and terrible management that does not take care of issues or return calls. Climate control was out for weeks during the summer without notice and gate was broken / open for months without repair. This place is a disaster. On top of it, they have some of the highest rates in the area. Would not recommend.

I needed to return the rental by closing at 8pm and not 5pm as originally thought. I arrived at 754pm only to find the facility closed. There was an employee there readying vehicles for the next morning pickup and she would not check me in. I had to use the night drop. I called several times the next morning and no one answered. They finally called me back when they thought a dolly was not returned. I normally do not write reviews but I was a bit frustrated.

This Bartlett Uhaul is farther away than other locations to my residence, but so well worth the drive. The manager, D Antonio, consistently delivers great service - courteous, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They re always well stocked, and during my visit today, D Antonio gave me valuable tips on how to safely pack my pesky odd shaped items and shared solutions that he s seen other customers do in the past. The Bartlett location made the DIY packing/moving process much easier on me.

The young lady that helped me with getting a truck was very nice and friendly. They didnt have any size trucks I needed except 1. But another customer had it reserved. She said if I could have it back by 3 I could use it. I said sure it was back at 2:35. I have rented from this location several times and this was this best one of all. The lady there before was not professional and would have you leave items and social security cards and stuff. I didnt like her. This young lady let me know that the staff is moving in the right direction.

Online shows 2 10x20 units available. I pull up 20 minutes later and all of a sudden they aren't available due to being reserved. Okay, I asked if I could just look at an empty unit just to make sure it would fit my needs and the girl told me no because it's been sanitized.... it's an outdoor unit and I only asked to look at the size. If you're lazy and don't feel like leaving the office just say that.
