This is a great establishment for you trailer needs from A to Z! Clean, well organized and staffed with experienced personal! This is a long standing company that has those extremely hard to find and discontinued parts. I had an older trailer with discontinued break hubs. They were able to cross reference me with the correct part. I am a commercial driver and this saved me from having to special order the part and get me back on the road to deliver my load on time. Otherwise I would have been down for several days. Thank you folks again for your professionalism! I have delt with many other trailer services and recommended this establishment!

Solid workmanship and knowledge that has been built up for what I bet is more than 60 yrs of knowledge and experience and a tremendous number of hitches and trailer repair and rehab done. It s a place where whatever they do ..the workmanship will be good and if something with that goes wrong they ll make it right. Danny and Paul Surwic (Danny retired around year 2020) are the type you enjoy seeing and don t mind paying a little extra to. Im one of those guys that will drag a $400 well made trailer from the weeds somewhere take it to Surwic and have them make it DOT legit and have all the custom stuff I need done and it ends up being slightly less than a new one but much heavier duty. Thanks for all the help with trailers we used in a Memphis/mid south growing construction supply business over the last 40 years guys! Like so many Memphis businesses We need you in order for us to accomplish our goals.

Danny installed the Blue Ox tow bar and braking system on our Jeep for our new 40 motorhome. Excellent job, done timely..his techs delivered our vehicle back to us at our campground in one day and showed us newbies how it all worked. No issues over our 1300 mile, 6 day trip home. Definitely recommend them. Very professional, Danny is a real sweet guy, first class work.

I had a front hitch receiver installed from Surwic. They followed the Curt hitch instructions and it stated to trim off part of my front lower air dam. Afterward when I inspected the hitch, the air dam did not needed to be cut to install the hitch. I ask Nick, the shop owner, and he agreed but stated they followed the instructions. He immediately call the manufacturer and their Curt representative and got them to pay to replace my air dam. However I had to pick it up from the dealership. That same day they reimburse the part and because of my additional trip, refunded $ for gas. I was pleasantly surprised at their commitment to satisfy a customer. This is the 2nd time they preformed work for me and will not be the last. I highly recommend Surwic for any trailer and hitch work. Thank you Nick.

Best customer service I have received in Memphis. The guys were so nice and accommodating. They took their time and did a great job at a very fair price. Don't go to U haul come to Surwic you'll be very pleased you did.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Paul, the owner has been here 59 years. When he heard that I was dead in the water on trip out to Arizona with a deadline to get there, he and his staff stepped up. He does excellent work in welding and reinstalled my hydralyft motorcycle carrier. My motorhome will fall apart before anything happens to the lift again. He even found us an RV park about 15 miles away that was a safe and pleasant place to spend the night. Staff were ALL very friendly and helpful. I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH .

The WORSE experience- Most unprofessional business Ive ever visited. Made an appointment last week for today. Arrive and an older gentleman greets me for service in his attempt to discourage me from the services I needed because they were overly booked ( I explained I had an appointment) I needed tires mounted on my Trailer and needed my ball hitch serviced. He changed his tune when I said I have an appointment. He had me sit in my truck for 30 minutes addressed and serviced two other people I literally watched him. So i go inside and speak with an older lady asking should I pay for my services first - polity she she said oooooh no let me get someone to help you. Again the older guy apologizes for my long wait says he was busy trying to multi task and couldn't locate a tire. Mind you from the onset I told him I had my own tires. Later he sends a very abrasive and forceful mechanic only to tell me " i suggest you go across the street for a savings since you have your own tires, If not we charge 100 per hour" R U KIDDING ME. I've been here before and easily you all replaced my tired without the extra rudeness, unprofessional, refusal of services and steering away of business. IF you need ANY work done on your trailer this may not be the place. I wouldn't want anyone to experience the blatant disrespect I experienced.

We busted a bearing traveling through Memphis and this place fit us into their busy Friday schedule and two hours later had completely replaced every bad part on the hub assembly and the trailer was good as new

I brought my dump trailer in yesterday to get a new hub assembly put on. Christian and Paul were great to work with. There pricing and professionalism is top notch and I will return with any trailer problems.

We were stranded in Southaven until after several visits to Camping Retailers, we were sent to Surwic Trailer Hitch Co. They had the part I needed. They were so courteous and professional.

Came here to have some wiring done so I can flat tow my jeep behind my RV. Everyone is super polite, knowledgeable, and outstandingly friendly. Hitch (their shop dog) is icing on the cake. These guys did great work, had me in and out in under 2 hours. Even printed off instructions on how to put the jeep into flat tow mode to make sure I had it right. These guys know what they're doing! Thank you!

While traveling across country Trailer broke a coil shredded 2 tires. Recommended to go hereOH YES fabulous. Knowledgeable friendly so understanding. Fixed in a few hours and on our way. Lovely people

Friendly service, obvious expertise, price cheaper than the dealer, and got started on my job at the appointment time given. Trailer hitch install only took slightly longer than originally estimated but looked good and clean when done.

By far the best decision I made was to go here to have a trailer hitch put on my vehicle. Everyone here is not only polite but just down right good people! I really just went in for a quote and to see when they could do it, ended up just hanging out while they did it right away! So thankful they could squeeze me in as I know they are busy. They gave me great advice as a newcomer to Memphis and for that I m blessed. Will recommend them to anyone and will go here for all my trailer/hitch needs! Thanks Surwic Trailer Hitch Co Inc.

Just a great couple of guys running this place. Danny and Paul are good guys and really want to take care of their customers. I needed a fifth wheel hitch installed and they had me taken care for less than a subpar product would cost elsewhere. I went there on reputation alone and it was well worth it. Superior customer service, the kind that you just don t see anymore. I met them both for the first time yesterday and we talked for half an hour like we were friends from years ago. Great people, great service. 10 stars out of 5.

Danny, Paul, and Nick with their crew installed a weight distribution hitch on my Dodge Ram 1500 in preparation for towing a new trailer that we are purchasing. I couldn't recommend them more. Great communication, quality workmanship, and took the time to make sure I understood exactly what I needed for towing. Thanks so much for the great service, something this world needs these days. Plus, the added bonus of getting to meet Hitch the Dog.

The best place in Memphis to get your hitch put on or have any good trailer work done. These guys are professional and fast and have way better prices than any of the competition. A real Memphis treasure. Note that they do get really busy during peak times when there s a lot of travel going on like summer. Take your rig in during the winter and be smart

Terrible this place is in my neighborhood everytime I stop by they refuse to give black people/african Americans any type of service. They would be better off just posting a no cloreds sign on front of building.Every time I stop by and looking to get some repairs they always stay that they are 3 weeks behind and can't take any more customers. I mean it's been 4 years they tell me this everytime I go. Just to prove my I will go there today and video record their response and post to dismiss any doubts about my review. It took me 3 years to write this.

They are still open...3-26-18. I called the tire shop across the street, Milton's Tires and he was so very nice to walk across the street and let me talk to a worker over there. He said Danny and his brother are dealing with a family emergency. He said their mother is Sick and they are dealing with that. And the secretary is not there. But they are open. I hope everything works out. I've used Surwic trailer in the past and it is the best place to go get a trailer hitch put on your vehicle.

They took good care of me when I recently had a trailer light connector added to my truck. Great service and if I ever need anything else hitch related, I will return.

These guys know their trailers. I broke down in Southaven when my leaf springs broke on my enclosed trailer. These guys had me back up and going very quickly. Thanks guys!

definitely the place to go if you need hitch work on your vehicle. place is run by two brothers and they are a hoot.they are actually there for the employees.Great guys no doubt. and you stand a good chance of running into Mongo there.

This place was fantastic the prices where unbeatable and the range of services that they offer from trailer repairs to setting up your vechile to tow these trailers awesome Job they had my Toyota looking like it had came from the factory with these parts the hitch is guaranteed forever and the electrical is guaranteed a year they where a bunch of down home gentlemen and was highly with you through the process of installation I got to say if I get people to go there to have whatever they need repaired replaced or installed if it didn't come from the factory with it these guys can't be beat....
