I would not recommend Strait 2 U Auto Service based on my recent experience. Despite initially being quoted a price and a service window, there were several issues that arose throughout the process. The service window was changed without notice, and the mechanics arrived four hours late the first day and two hours late the second day. Additionally, they did not have the necessary parts for the job on the first or second day, resulting in further delays and unprofessional behavior. The manager, Jarvis, was dismissive and rude when confronted about the issues. Ultimately, the service call was terminated prematurely by manager Jarvis, leaving the job incomplete. Upon further inspection after my service was terminated, it was discovered that multiple parts had been removed unnecessarily for the required repair. Those parts were removed at an attempt to remove a broken bolt that was lodged in a hole done by the junior mechanic Justin. Strait 2 U Auto Service knowingly damaged my vehicle and terminated my service quickly to remove themselves. Despite attempts to rectify the situation and paying Justin for the parts he purchased (overcharged me) that were not replaced, the company has failed to take responsibility for their actions. This experience has left me highly disappointed and frustrated with the lack of professionalism and integrity displayed by Strait 2 U Auto Service. I am highly disappointed in how this black-owned company knowingly damaged my truck and refuses to accept responsibility for their actions. Count your days, Strait 2 U Auto Service. You cannot treat people this way and prosper. I advise Carlos (senior mechanic) to start his own business because there will always be a dark cloud over a business that lacks professionalism and integrity. I am letting God fight this battle for me.

I would highly recommend Strait 2 U! I used them for multiple pre-purchase vehicle inspections. They were timely, knowledgeable and helped guide my decision. I used their inspection report and input to get additional maintenance work performed on the vehicle. Thanks Mr.J!

My truck was a headache from the get go. Wrong parts from Auto Zone and O'Reilly. They were all great people with awesome work. They helped out in alot of ways by getting everything correct. Highly recommend Jarvis and his mechanics.

I came outside to go to work and my car would not start. So I called a local shop and they said it would be a week before they could even look at my car. I found Strait 2 U online, I called these guys and they came right out. The technician not only found my problem, (blown fuse) but he fixed it in 15 minutes. I got to say what they charged me for pulling up was cheaper than paying for a tow truck. Plus I would have been without my car for a week, if i had sent it to the shop, for a BLOWN FUSE. These guys saved my life! Definitely will be my GO TO from now on. Great JOB!

Strait 2 U Mobile provided excellent service! My car completely shut down because my alternator went out. I went online and found Strait 2 U Mobile and they were able to come out the same day to replace my alternator and serpentine belt! I highly recommend them!

These guys are AWESOME! Our daughter car stopped working at a gas station, while me and my husband were out of town at the time. So we could not get to her ourselves. I was a nervous wreck! So I got online and found Strait 2 U Auto and called them. Mr. Jay told me "Momma don't worry, we will take care of your BABY!" They sent two technicians out to our daughter and they found out her starter was bad! They took the old starter off and brought her a new one, and FIXED IT ON THE SPOT!!! In only 2 hours Carlos and Justin had our daughter back up and running. We highly recommend this company! Definitely will use again in the future.

I had a good experience with company 1st time 2nd time was iffy but the guy got the diagnostic done. So I asked after getting the diagnostic if he can change solenoid and the price. We waited to hear bk from the head tech..I guess..who called bk with a price n yes they can do it. This was in June. I finally got money to fix car called again 2 days ago. They had my records. He gave me a price once again after having to text me back. He then set up appt for next day 2-4pm. The next day confirmation on time. I replied yes to confirm. At 6pm I texted bk did yall forget my appt. 10 mins later I got a text saying this is a major problem out of their hands. Nah y u think they didn't say that in June or the day I called or the day of appt. So if I had never asked what happened I wouldn't have gotten a call. Btw....spoke to 3 other shops who said no major issue just waiting period due to many repairs. So I would recommend a 2nd opinion n based on some reviews it looks like they aren't getting the problem fixed if ppl have to return for the same car. I saw the owner's response to the comments and I tell u what...he spent more time texting bout a comment than spending time to fix a customer problem. I'm not reading a story feedback if u wrong u wrong. I'm not bad mouthing jus being real. Yall did me wrong after all the money I spent with ur company. May God continue to move in ur lives.

These folks are crooks! Do not pay until work is completed and all verbal promises are kept!! This review will be changed as soon as promised refund shows on my account! When they say being processed, they must mean they are considering it! Any and all purchases or refunds done with reputable businesses show up on my account immediately! I hope I can affect at least one person that is considering using this business! It has been an expensive lesson for me!

Let me tell y all something.. I had been stressing about not being able to find someone to fix my car and after being let down twice in the same day! Folks playing under my hood; not knowing what they doing. I started to feel like my search for a GOOD MECHANIC was coming to an end and had accepted the fact that I was screwed I decided to Google Mobile Mechanic and Strait 2 U popped up I look on their website and read the reviews the decision basically made itself . I called today and they came today AND FIXED MY CAR in 15 mins. I didn t care about the price. Good Service ain t cheap. I mess with y all tough. Will be my goto for now on. Just referred a friend too.*fast*excellent service*reliable

I m writing this in hopes that someone contact me in regards of my refund it's been two months and I haven t heard anything from the owner after his rude response to me. I ve called and called and my calls won t go through. I just honestly want to get my refund. It shouldn t be this hard or take this long to get something I work hard for back when it was a problem or you re end. Thank youSir you still haven t answered my question about my refund it s been two months. Non of what you said happen and I have proof of what happen on that phone call that day talking down to a 22 year old women is crazy and putting my full name on the internet is so outta line I just came on here because you have blocked my number all I want is my money back what is the problem SIR you can respond to this but can t call about my refund is crazy

I ve dealt with this company before and the service was great (2 years ago) but this time around it was so awful that I wouldn t recommend them to anybody. They came to inspect my car and they did a poor job didn t check under my car or anything just assumed I needed motor mounts after a 2 mins test drive. The manager was rude when I called to check the price of service because the mechanic said he would call and he didn t. I felt as if something wasn t right so I went and gotten two more quotes and they both said it wasn t my motor mounts and one was the dealership where I gotten my car from. After getting the run around I called Tuesday and told them I no longer wanted them to fix my vehicle after them not diagnosing my car correctly and I asked about a refund because I paid $125 for them see what s wrong with my car and to fully inspect it which the didn t do the manager said he will refund me 50% I haven t heard anything to let me know the refund was processed or anything involving the refund so I called today to see what was going on and the manager just cussed me saying I don t have to call every day I will get my D*** money in 30 days and told me not to call anymore all I was seeing is what was going on. I m disappointed in how the manager has treated me and the way he cussed at me was so hurtful and rude. I ve had a lot of health issues and that $125 was a lot to spend for them to misdiagnose my car. I just want my refund honestly.If you are looking for a mobile mechanic I most definitely don t recommend them

I would highly suggest u NOT call these people! A "professional" mechanic supposedly fixed my pipe for my car running hot, he then poured in the wrong coolant. Now honestly this coolant was a product that I brought but I trusted the mechanic to know best. He poured the entire jug in and then told me it's the wrong kind and it will mess up my engine. Then he said it will cost another 110 for him to come back out and flush the radiator and another 100 for labor. I felt very taken advantage of and found someone one the street to actually fix the problem and explain to me the real problem with my car running hot. That person charged me 25 dollars to drain the fluid and clean it. These people are money hungry. They then send me an email asking for repeat business I'ma go with hell no thank you!

Called them in the morning. They were at my house that evening and had me fixed in just over an hour. Very nice people. Will definitely use them again and will recommend them.LaDarus was who came out to do the work. They were great.Services: Electrical, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Battery

If you don't want to pay much and can't get your car to the shop, this is the company to call. No wait time, same day. I love this company and will use them again. The mechanics was on time, super fast and professional. I love this kind of service.

I wanted to share my great experience with Strait 2 U Auto Service. That s right it say it all in the name Strait 2 U which means no matter where you are they will come STRAIT to you! Jarvis is a true gentleman. He got information about what was going on with my car and immediately gave me a price along with scheduling an appointment. I couldn t be more thankful for his dedication to help me. This has been the best and convenient personal customer service I ve ever experience. I m late on the review my service day was February 11,2022 due to personal issues but better late then never. I give this company 5 stars!

Both of my experiences with this company were pleasant. The first time they were able to fix my car no problem, the second time my car stopped, they were not able to fix my car. The technician said that my timing belt was broken, this was out of their expertise, which I completely understand, and so they recommended a shop to fix it. Well the car got towed to Christian Brothers, and they ran a diagnostics which it came back to be that my engine had completely given out, no cylinders were working. No mention of a broken timing belt. Three stars because the first experience ran so smooth..they were able to diagnose and fix my car within the same day. But -2, because the second time around the diagnosis was completely left field.edit: You recommended that I get the timing belt replaced, you didn't inform us that the whole engine was damaged. If that was the case we wouldn't have bothered getting the car towed and diagnosed for the second time as we knew the price for a new engine, especially for a foreign car, would be so high. I gave you your flowers as well as criticism..but it does show a-lot on your part, when it comes to professionalism, in the way that you've responded. Nevertheless, have a blessed one!

Before calling this company, I called another mechanic and he looked at my vehicle and was told that the problem was the alternator but later the mechanic never showed up, The next day I called this company, Straight 2 U auto repair and was kindly made an appointment to look at my vehicle, the technicians arrived and told me that the alternator was not the problem as the previous mechanic told me, it was actually a problem with the Battery fuse, they were professional and immediately applied the solution to my vehicle. My vehicle has been in the same spot for days and after a few minutes my vehicle was running again. I m extremely thankful and happy with the service , I have already set up another appointment to fix my AC issues I m having on my vehicle, truly thankfulServices: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Update:My review of my experience with Strait2U is completely factual and accurate. It s unfortunate, but not surprising, that an honest review of the deplorably poor service experience I had with Mr. Nathan has caused him to lose all semblance of professionalism. I used his name because it is just that, his name. He IS a person, so if that makes this personal in his mind - so be it. Perhaps comprehension is the issue, as Jarvis could neither deduce the actual issue with my vehicle nor could he decipher that I clearly said that Sunrise had my vehicle 1 month before I spoke with someone and 2 months before it was returned to me, a fact that lends nothing to Jarvis s poor skills as a diagnostician. Also, it s a violation of the Federal Trade Commission Act to willfully release customer information without their express written permission - so thank you, Mr. Jarvis Nathan - Operations Director, so incredibly much for being out of compliance in such a public way.My initial review appears to have been removed, so I needed to do another. Again I only give 1 star so that I can leave a review - Strait 2 U Auto deserves 0. After being rescheduled a week out from my original appointment date due to weather, Jarvis arrived over 2 hours late for my appointment with no prior notification. He manufactured a list of ailments for my vehicle and then advised that he & his team couldn t & wouldn t complete any of the work. He DID however advise that I go to the dealership - which was the only helpful that information I received from him. The dealership advised that NONE of the things Jarvis Nathan had previously itemized in great detail (both on paper and in his response to my original review) were wrong with my vehicle and it was simply bad gas. Jarvis purported to have saved me over $1800, when in actuality, had he been able to do anything he mentioned, he would have overcharged me by $1400 for issues my vehicle did not even have. My issue still would not have been resolved because bad gas or anything relating to fuel being the culprit was not listed or even hinted at. I beg of you, save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Great Service. The guys came out help me with a situation that I couldn t do on my own. Honestly I thought the problem was going to be too much for them because it was a mobile service. They were super friendly and that problem I thought was going to be too much for them , they knocked it out in about 10 min. Will definitely use them again.

These guys were great! I got stumped after replacing a fuel pump on my van and it would not start. Turns out the fuel pump manufacturer gave me the wrong wiring diagram. They had it diagnosed and fixed in an hour. It's hard to find mechanics that treat you with respect and get excited to see people working on their own vehicles. These guys were helpful and super nice. They were a bit late but the overall quality of service makes that irrelevant. I highly recommend their serviceService: Electrical

My experience started from the time the dispatch operator answered the phone. Very polite and professional, so knew l had the right business immediately. When Mr. J and Mr. C'Los showed up to take a look at my job it was a great and pleasant encounter as well. The professionalism of this company on top of the knowledge they displayed was great. They diagnosed my vehicle and gave me my estimate on the spot. They fixed everything they said with brand new parts and nothing was "rigged" to work like l have had in previous situations with other mechanics. The price was very affordable for a job well done. Not the type of person I prefer to do business with. I would have preferred to have just been told that he didn't want the job, rather than being ignored and realizing (2 days before the scheduled appointment) he wasn't going to show up. I could have been working with someone that actually INTENDED to fix my truck this entire time, and would be done by now. Will not be recommending this business to anyone, ever.

Update. Unreliable. Spent thousands of dollars even though he was late most times. I scheduled an appointment through the website and the day of the appointment came and no Jarvis. I figured something had happened so I called several times over a few hours and no answer. I asked someone else to call from another phone and he answered right away. So maybe it was personal but even that makes no sense because it was a professional relationship with me leaving tips almost every time. He eventually replied and told me it was one of those days but no mention of my inconvenience for having purchased the parts he recommended or trying to reschedule. Find another more reliable mechanic. Even if you have to pay more. His only redeeming quality is Carlos who gets the job done. Very disappointed.

I called and told him what was happening with the car. He knew instantly what the problem was. Tow truck was going to take two hours and it was hot, having my child with me. When the team arrived, they went straight to the problem and we were able to roll again! The name is perfect for them. They will come Strait 2 U and get Strait 2 the Problem. 2009 Dodge Avenger....Thank y'all good men very much!!

I couldn't be happier with the service these guys provided me. I called to have the thermostat changed in my truck which I was quoted $135 for. Upon arrival they informed me that the thermostat wasn't the problem but, something cheaper and more easily fixable, which they went ahead and did. Other mechanics would have gone ahead and changed the thermostats then, pointed out the other problem and charged for that on top. These guys honesty and character was great to see and I will use them and recommend them to whoever will listen from this point forward. Great job guys.

Horrible service. I called this company to fix a problem with my engine and was given the run around and overall taken advantage of. I trusted this company to fix a problem with my engine overheating to no avail and the exact same problem with my vehicle. Instead of doing a full diagnostic test on my vehicle this mechanic decided to fix the first and easiest problem with the car. Even after i gave the company a chance to rectify the situation i was treated poorly when explaining my problems to them. Unfortunately i am out of more money than i had to be because of this companys laziness and/or lack of knowledge on cars. Also had several no show appointments with no apology to me when they did eventually come out. As a black woman i trusted this black owned business to take care of me and a service i had no problem paying for, but in return received nothing but below average service. Both Jamal and Rameisha were very professional. They definitely earned both me and my husbands trust. We'd been scammed by a mobile mechanic that we'd paid over $2k to for a rebuilt transmission and install. Our vehicle stopped shifting gears so we coasted into a parking lot then it would not go forward at all, only reverse. We called Strait 2U not knowing what to expect. They were sympathetic to our pain and to how much money was stolen from us. I was very reluctant when Jamal told us that the transmission was not rebuilt and we still needed one. We just took it on faith that this company was legit and would not rip us off too. They were excellent!! Our vehicle runs so smooth now, we let them do the tuneup too. My husband can't stop smiling every time he drives it. Thank you Jamal and Rameisha (sorry if misspelled) for your honesty, integrity, work ethic and heart for people. We won't be using anyone else. Strait 2 U made my week! They replaced my car tire in about 10 mins and did a good job! He was very responsive and even helped me while I was at work! Sent a photo of the completed work and payment was very easy. Prices were very cheap so i even left a good tip! i definitely recommend checking them out before going to any other places to have any repairs done. Their website was very easy to navigate and also lists prices for just about any repair you can think of. The best thing about it is that they come to you! no more spending crazy money on towing!

Mr. Jarvis came to my home to replace my serpentine belt. I had envisioned that was the only problem. It did need to be replaced, however so did my water pump. I am so blessed that they caught that so soon. I wouldn't have been happy if it would have gone out on the road. They came back the very next day and replaced it for me. The crew was kind and courteous. Mr. Jarvis explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is outstanding. I will be using them again and referring anyone I know to use his business. Thank you both so much!
