My experience so far has been great! The day I went in to rent my storage the office person was gone to lunch, by the time I made it back they were closed. I explained my situation and he STILL made it possible for me to rent that day! Awesome customer service

Fred, is an Amazing Customer Service Agent for Storage Sense. He was and is very friendly and you can tell he cares for each and every customer that comes in and even the ones that have been there for a while, knowing them by name and even enough about them to start conversations about things going on in their lives and isn't afraid to make them laugh. As a unit this is one of the best capable of serving many sizes from small all the way to car garage Locked units! Prices are great and having a strong digital gate and code only entrance into the facility to keep you and your items safe is awesome. This site allows bands, so if you are a band or artist looking for a affordable spot hurry and join all of us here at Storage Sense, Memphis, TN. Where your storage items, and Musical Sounds are Safe all the Time!Thanks Fred, for all you and your Manager did to get Dependant an amazing price and the perfect unit to practice and keep our equipment safe!

7/19/2023 - Do not park your vehicle here for more than 1 min...The gate has to many issues, manager is cool but the area and location is trash...Appreciate ya brother, tried to make it work...

My experience at Storage Sense was great. Andrea is very knowledgeable and has excellent at customer service. She is very friendly and was able to help me with my needs. She helped me to remove my lock from it's packing. Actually she removed it. I just watched. Lol

I ve rented from this storage space on and off for over 6 years. Over the years it s gotten significantly worse for renters. For seemingly no reason, the rent will raise regularly, with no legitimate explanation. My unit was a bit steep to begin with, but it has has gone up 20% just in the past year. On one of those increases, I was told that it was due to MLGW s raising their rates. That was true, but barely. The MLGW increase only lasted for about a month, but the rent increase was permanent. The gate rarely works, so any protection for vehicles is obviously incomplete. The climate control could be much better - the 4th floor, at least, is always very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. But perhaps the worst part is that the elevator is regularly broken. For those who store heavy equipment on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors, this is especially concerning. For instance, while writing this review, the elevator has been down for over 2 weeks. The staff does a good job at making sure the floors are clean, but that doesn t help me get very heavy equipment down 4 flights of narrow stairs. This place used to be the best storage unit in Midtown. It d be nice if it was again, but there are huge problems that make me want to go elsewhere.

Great customer service! I think his name is either Ced or Fred, but he was very helpful and answered all of my questions concerning renting storage space here. I think he had my best interest at heart and found the best option for me. Thanks again!

Fred was so helpful and caring about my storage needs. He made the process easy and efficient. Moving has never been easier, thank you!Update - I went back to Storage Sense to see if Fred was still working there as I am moving again!! And was so happy when I found out he was still there. He actually came down to the store after hours to help me pick out a unit. I m telling you, if you want great customer service, you need to come talk with Fred!

The online process for renting a storage unit through Storage Sense is seamless and easy, but what makes the difference is the staff, specifically Fred. He is a great guy and you're lucky to have him managing the Madison Ave location in Memphis. Please give that man a raise.

I ve rented at this location for over four years now. In that time, I ve dealt with the security gates almost always being open, allowing foot traffic to scope out and break into people s cars repeatedly.I ve dealt with the elevator intermittently just not working. Loading large furniture and musical equipment up flights of stairs covered in lead paint, that CONSTANTLY smell of urine is just oh so delightful. The smell is absolutely horrid.There s been a roof leak on the fourth floor that has been existent and messy for the entirety of my time there. Looks like rust water all over a unit s door and into the floor any time it rains.And I see a lot of reviews talking about this place being climate controlled. I only half agree with that statement. It s climate controlled in the sense that literal clouds can t form inside, but it gets so humid and stuffy inside during the summertime that I ve had my guitars fretboards sweat and have had guitar amplifier parts start to rust.Limited parking. Bathrooms locked and out of order constantly. Took the vending machines out.And the rent increases a few dollars at a time every two months. I m paying 40% more now than I was when I started, all while watching maintenance to the building degrade.This storage facility is exceedingly mismanaged.

Good location for midtown, temperature is well controlled, always felt fairly safe and clean and convenient. When I had a problem with my storage unit the first time I got it they immediately helped move me to a different one, staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks!

I had the most wonderful experience finding the absolute perfect space to fit my needs. Jacqui McKay who assisted me from the beginning greeted me with a friendly smile, a professional and positive attitude who made my experience enjoyable and made me feel confident in knowing I had chosen the very best storage facility around town. I am extremely happy to have found the space that I was looking for! I will enjoy having my storage kept here as it s also easy accessible which will make a huge difference for me when working out of it. Cannot give Jacqui enough credit and kudos for her friendliness, optimism and professionalism! Thank you again for making my experience so wonderful!

Both Jackie and Fred were efficient, kind, and helpful - so pleasant to communicate with. The office was clean and organized. The air conditioned units appeared clean and easy to access. I m looking forward to beginning to store my belongings there, so I cannot yet speak to the quality of the storage long term.

Everything was great, there was a problem with the elevator which seemed to take a while to get resolved during my move out time, but overall a good experience.

This is the newest storage unit in Baldwin county. The are the best. They can accommodate a small unit all the way to practically a hanger size warehouse. Also Spence, who helped us the several times we have been there is Fantastic!! I don't normal write reviews but I thought that he helped above and beyond by an order of magnitude. Highly recommend them and Spence to take care of you.
