Excellent customer service. I have taken my vehicle there multiple times to fix a tire without any appointments and I am always happy after I get my keys back. They are honest about the estimated time needed to fix your vehicle. The price is fair and above average. Great location too. You can just cross the street, get coffee, food or just wait there until the job is completed. The place is nice and quiet and employees are very professional. Thank you for your excellent service.

This is the second time I have been to Steve s and the first time I went (about a year ago) it was a very pleasant experience. They even drove me to my work while they worked on my car. I am well aware of the stigma that women are taken advantage of for anything car-related but I did not feel that way from Steve s a year ago which made me want to come back for my most recent issue. The woman who talked to me about what I needed done was very transparent about cost and was pleasant to deal with. I got a call from a man two days later who said that the total cost of everything they could do for my car would be around $2300 (airbag module, drivers window motor replaced, clock spring replaced) and this did not include the main reason why I brought my car in which was water accumulation. They said this would have to be handled by a place who works in windows because the issue was a leaky front window which is understandable and I was glad they were being transparent. One of the other issues included needing to replace a motor for the drivers side front window. They told me it would be $761 just to fix that and they would take off $150 because I already had the motor. I had a feeling that this was high so I called my dad who called Steve s to discuss and he talked to a different person. They quoted him $375 with or without the motor. I felt taken advantage of because they were going to charge me $400 more. At this point I just wanted to pick up my car because I did not feel I could trust them. Originally, I was going to be charged three separate $140 diagnostic fees because they had to look at drivers window, horn, and water issue. This was made clear to me but I was willing to pay because I have received fair prices from Steve s in the past and if you get the work done the diagnostic fees are waived. However since I was very obviously not being offered fair prices and I did not want the work on my car done at Steve s.Luckily, he and my dad came to an agreement that Steve s would only charge me one diagnostic fee which ended up coming out to $170. After getting home, I noticed that my dash was cracked in several places which has never been an issue before. So basically, I paid $170 to feel taken advantage of and have my dash cracked without anyone informing me. I would no longer recommend Steve s to any woman needing work done on their car. A 26 year old woman should not need their father in order to get fair work done on her vehicle

I had an incredible experience with Steve s Tire that you should know about. At 2:00PM, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, my headlight bulb in my Jeep Grand Cherokee was dead. In February of this year, Steve s replaced both my headlight bulbs. This bulb was less than a year old. I went in and they replaced the bulb, under warranty despite it being 3 hours before closing time right before a major holiday. That is why I recommend Steve s Tire. They are there when you need them and when you Really need them.

Steve s tire got me in and out very quickly and I couldn t be more thankful. I am from out of town and needed my vehicle to get around with my daughter at St. Jude. The guys took care of me and helped me out as much as they could and got me back on the road. Thank you all so much.

I am very disappointed with the miscommunication at this establishment. I went for a simple tire change and they made the whole transition stressful for no reason. I was quoted a certain price when I originally went , the next day I get a call that my tire was not ordered and that the price is different (higher). I asked the staff specifically would this new price be the price AFTER taxes and labor he stated "YES". When I went to pick up my car, the price was yet again DIFFERENT. The staff either needs to communicate with each other or they need to train every employee again. This is NOT how you handle business.

If you re looking for an honest and reliable mechanic, look no further. I have been coming here for years and have had only positive experiences. They won t try to sell you things you don t need and always own up to any mistakes they make. I won t take my car anywhere else.

I drive over an hour to go here because it's the only place that takes my warranty. My issue started last year and right away I like these guys they seemed professional and to be moving cars quickly. I got a couple things done including the wheel bearing, they let me make 2 payments as one the repairs were not covered. Well I came back 4 or 5 times for the wheel bearing and by the 2cnd time I asked why they said the part was probably faulty the 3r or 4th time I asked what could be causing it? Is it something I'm doing they said they could not find anything else wrong. My husband takes it in again for like the 5th time and asks them to check it out. That's when they found the axle issue which apparently is what has been causing it. Here is the issue they were going to replace the wheel bearing for free because its covered under their warranty but the axle we'd be charged for. While my husband was talking to me trying to figure out what to do they put the car all back together gave him the keys and sent him on his way. Did not even fix the wheel bearing. Husband should have went back but at that point after being there for a few hours he decided we are better off going somewhere else. We don't trust these guys at all. I could always tell they don't do the best work on warranty jobs. They literally do only what is required otherwise they would have found that axle job a few visits prior. We are humble live off a fixed income and trying to get back on our feet we don't expect handouts or free work but I do expect something after driving there over 4 times for the same dang issue. It's part my fault because I am not aggressive enough. If you have a lot of money to throw around I'm sure these guys are ok. But if you have a warranty they will do the minimum for sure. I had to wait each time for hours because they don't do appointments and first come first serve. I wasted so much time off of work and gas and money taking it over 4x to them when they could have just looked for the cause the second time. I work for a large tire company and knowxeactly what they are doing.

I am in line with Madison's opinion of Steve's Tire & Auto. For 3 months they tried to fix my car. They did some things charged me $3375.00& said yep this should do it. My car intermittently would not start. Two other people said I needed a starter. Steve's said 2 times we checked the starter & it's fine. During the 3 months I was stranded several times because my car wouldn't start. I had to leave it on a Memphis city street & walk home hoping my windows wouldn't be shattered, or myself attacked. A different individual put a starter on my car & it's been fine. Steve Woodard owner of the place is refusing to refund any of my money. He offered me $500 in credit to this place that couldn't find the problem! because I'm a woman & 75 years old he doesn't think it is necessary to do the right thing!SHAME ON YOU STEVE WOODARD & the good Ole boys that work for you. The last time I called them stranded, James answered. I asked what should I do? His reply was "I have no idea." & hung up.So if that's the kind of service you want then head on over to the Steve's Tire & Auto, 2 locations to serve you.

The hardest thing for a man/woman to do is find a honest and great car mechanic. I m 74, 50th anniversary corvette now . Steve s better than dealer at keeping my jewel like new . 1/4 mile in 11.375. I want to keep it that way . Had electrical problem that dealer took 12 days and offered to send car back to factory. Steve s fixed it 1 day . Had to return it to Steve again for 1 more day to tweak and previous part malfunctioned . They fixed the 2nd trip for NOTHING and apologized . When the dealer could not fix it . I ve owned 48 cars in my life and 8 corvettes .moved here from Ca. I m so grateful I found Steve s .Friendly and most of all honest and more than fair pricing. James and Travis, plus the mechanics are worth every penny. Get there early . Prepare to leave it for day . It s worth it .I spent $1,200 on my 2008 Solstice I bought in Pebble beach for brakes, tune up ..4 cyl and these idiots in Germantown botched the job plus caused $476 body under frame damage because they didn t know Solstice s unibody frame . And refused to pay for body damage.Just go to Steve s auto and tire in midtown poplar Ave west of McClean and be done with being ripped off and wasting your time .

Used to be my go to because their techs are top tier. However, the last few times the desk guy's attitude has been off putting enough for me to look for new options. These guys do good work, are honest for their industry, but the horrific parking and the stress the front desk guy is under being so busy made me feel like they have too many customers too take care of and do not want anymore. I hate that because they do know what they are doing, but they guy at the front desk doesn't think much of women and it is extremely obvious he'd rather not have to deal with you.

First time here. Despite them having to deliver the bad news about my 2-month old tire, they were friendly, upfront and did a great job. I will definitely return in the future instead of driving out to my overpriced dealership just to be pressured into upsells.

I'm very impressed with the level of service at Steve's Tire & Auto. I dropped my car off at 7:30am to have my radiator replaced and it was ready for pick up by 1:30pm. The employee's were very friendly and helpful, very pleasant experience while they were diagnosing my car and estimating the cost. I recommend them and I'll be going back for my future auto maintenance.

They had excellent customer service! We were 3 ladies from out of town. The got us a tow truck and got our broke down car figured out and fixed by the end of the day. I didn't think pricing was bad especially for how quick they were. Their bathrooms were clean and the office was very tastefully decorated.

Hit me with a $10.40 shop/service fee at checkout after never mentioning it during initial price quotes. Bought 1 tire and they said they would put best 2 in front. They didn't do it. Parking is bad. Told me I was lucky it was done in a day because how busy they were.

My truck overheated driving through Memphis. I checked out Google Reviews for auto repair shops in the area and this one had strong reviews. Vic at the shop was very professional and easy to work with in getting a diagnosis on the truck. The shop seemed very well run and the customer service was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a trusted repair shop.

I've been using this shop for at least 10 years. They kept my 1999 Altima alive in that time. I could not recommend them more. I have always had top notch service. No unnecessary services have ever been pushed on me. Even when my old Altima was on its last breaths, they never tried to push repairs. Just did what I needed to make the car survive and even let me know when it was most likely time to move on instead of fixing it up one last time. Hopefully I won't have to see them for a very long time since I have purchased a new car, but they will be the first place I go if I have any problems.

They charge almost 90$ for an oil change. Don t know if they got over because I was a women or what but no other shop has ever charged me that MAYBE IT was the extra FEES they add on receipt.

I can t say enough good things about this shop! We made an appointment, my husband talked to them about our vehicle snd the issues. My husband dropped off the car late that afternoon and they brought him back home. They called first thing in the morning next day and the car was ready for pickup. They came and picked up my husband the prices were fair. Oh my gosh - since my husband retired from auto repair after 35+ years and he can no longer do this type of work it is so nice to find this gem of a place with honest caring people and customer service. Key Word - Great Customer Service! Thank you Steve s Tire and Auto! You have our business!

3 hours to fix a flat tire Couldnt find how to answer Steve s answer so I put my response here: No, no one said they were behind on work or overloaded, there was one guy swipping the floor outside, one guy talking in the phone and laughing in the front desk and the guy who attend me he took my name and phone asked for my keys, when I asked how long you Will take to fix a flat tire he answered that 3 hours, I say no thanks and he just ripped the work order or whatever form he was filling and trash it if you look the trash can at the front desk you probably Will find it with my name on it

Steve's Tire & Auto has always made time for me and has taken exceptional care of us and our cars. I appreciate their service, expertise, and genuine kindness at every visit. They've never made me feel like a number or a stranger, and both of their locations are equally as equipped with excellent service and reliability. Bottom line, I trust Steve's and highly recommend them. :^)

WOW IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!! I have never been to any business that was so well operated! My husband and I needed a lot of stuff done on our truck and called to see when we could bring it in. They were happy to get us in right away. We walked in and Travis greeted us and knew right away what we were there for and had everything organized as in order for the work to be done. We left the truck expecting to to take at least a day or so due to all the work needed but Travis called us that same day and said it was finished! Unbelievable! They were so nice, friendly and professional! Shout out to the BEST tire and auto we have ever dealt with! They certainly earned our business for the future!

Our experience with Midtown Steve's has been exceptional. I have brought or sent in 5 different cars within the past couple of years for various problems and have always received personal and courteous attention. Their work has been done well and in a timely manner, and pricing, I feel, has been fair. I don't hesitate in recommending this shop to everyone.

I was traveling to Memphis and ran over a rock. I ended up needing a new tire. They were really busy and it was an hour before closing. Even though they were really busy they fixed it right away for me. They were really prompt and reasonably priced. I really appreciate that they took the time to fix my tire. The people at the front desk were so friendly. If I'm ever in Memphis and having car trouble I will be sure to go back herr.

I've made four trips, and it's everything you could hope for in an auto shop. They can be trusted to tell you what you actually need, they're clear about what they're doing and what the timeline will be, they do good work, and they don't charge you too much. They have never tried to talk to me into buying anything or receiving a service I don't need, and they have very nice staff. I'm so glad I had a flat near this place, and that's how I found it!

Great for wheel and tire issues. I took one of my truck's tires in to get it patched. Pretty good work as the tire is still holding strong a year later.I replace the tie rods on my truck and was in need of an alignment. The truck drives straight and it was for a reasonable price.I replaced the shocks on my truck and ended up breaking a small mounting bolt off in the lower control arm. With threads exposed on both sides of were the bolt broke off they decided to go straight to drilling. I agreed as I was told the threads on the control arm would be left, aka everything will be returned to its proper function. Well that didn't happen and they drilled out the threads as well. So the solution presented was to cap off everything with another bolt and another nut and charge $135 for 10 minutes of drilling. So good for tires and related issues but not good for actual mechanic work.

When I called about getting a leaky tire checked, clerk told me they could take me at 8am on Saturday. So I arrived promptly at 8am on Saturday as instructed. Guy at the counter told me I would have to leave it, which wasn t discussed over the phone. No big deal my gripe is that he wouldn t give me a ballpark of when it would be ready. I m one person with no ride back home or back here, so that makes it impossible for someone like me to plan for pick up. Going to put it off a little longer and try a different shop with hopefully better service scheduling abilities.

I purchased a set of new tires here and had some belts replaced and other routine service. The belts started squeaking so I had to go back to get that fixed. The tires started going flat right away so I had to return for that also. They said the valves on three were leaking. They fixed that and then I realized they had left the air caps off so I returned a third time to get those replaced. I honesty wonder if the tires were genuinely new, as I was charged for. At the least it was an inconvenient pain in the rear for what should have been a single visit for basic service.

We have been using Steve s Tire and Auto for years. They have consistently been fair with a very quick turnaround time on getting our cars and tires repaired. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend using them!
