Was having trouble diagnosing my issue at first but the mechanic came through and saved the day and me almost $1000. McKenzie and the lady at the desk were super nice and down to earth. Totally worth a visit when you need help. Their mechanic is the best in Memphis!

This shop is amazing. As far as customer service goes I am a hard woman to please and they did such a great job with their customer service that I have nothing but the best things to say about them. they were polite, they were caring, they were very knowledgeable, they explained everything to me and made sure that my car was safe to drive and knowing I was in a bit of a predicament they made sure that it was within my budget and I am driving my car now the happiest I've been in weeks maybe even longer... if you ever need any type of service done to your car I would highly recommend going to this shop right here. It would be the best decision you probably made in a long time

I really don't even feel they deserve a star at all but had to give 1 just leave a comment. So customer service was horrible had to go out and get all the information for a tire for them but they did it for other customers that came in after me. Waited almost 3 hours for 1 tire.And a week later took my car to my personal technician and found out that when Pep Boys changed my tire they stripped a lug nut. So then I had to trust them to break it off and replace the stud and believe that they actually did the work right. Never again. Big Mistake using this place. Horrible Horrible shop.

Omg. I went in Pep Boys today. My (salesman) Mckenzie and my (Tire Tech) Will. Gave me faith again with customer service and humanity. They answered all my thousand questions, worked with me to get my truck back on the road. Stayed late. Did not rush me. Nor did they try to con me cause I was a woman like everyone else does. That does not know I'm a mechanic. Thanks guys.

These technicians at this are the greatrst. Corperate need to appreciate them. Are at least tell them let know how great they are to customers. They took the best care of me. They deserve a steak for lunch corporate. I will be back from here on out for service from these guys as long as they same guys are there. Addres on Pleasant view, meemphis. Tn

Let me start out by saying great service mazing job with my tire, the only problem was the way one employee acted, Lakisha the female working was really rude yelling at coworkers and her boss it was super unprofessional and super uncomfortable some one needs to look in to this. Super disgusted with the way that employee acted

Shop is trashed and very dirty. Set an appointment, a hour and half after appointment time pulled car in. 2 hours to do 4 tires. Workers rather be in lobby talking cussing and fighting instead of working on cars. Will not be goin back to this location.

Update: they were really gonna let me leave like this, smh. Luckily, I noticed that my back seat was sitting higher than usual & had one of them fix it before my tow truck arrived. I was looking to return in the future with my next car bc this one was unable to be fixed, but this has killed that intention. It was something small, but I did not bring my vehicle here with the backseat unfastened; I should not leave that way. I told them before coming here that I was uneasy about leaving my vehicle unattended with people I don't know, however, I was assured it would be cared for from start to finish. Leaving my backseat undone does not provide a sense of security. I was upset at no one at first bc they didn't cause my vehicle to breakdown, however, I am upset now that they really attempted to return my car partially disassembled.Pros: great phone etiquette, clean facility, and friendly staff.Cons: wait time & towing service.

Brought in my dads SUV to get an oil change and Brake service done and the guy was told in the beginning that we wanted to use the $40 off coupon and he said to show it at the end.. well my so. Picked up the vehicle and the coupon was not applied so I went back up there to get the price adjusted with the $40 off coupon and was told that someone name Lester was the only person I could talk to to get this taken care of and he won t be in until Friday today is Monday WTH!!! how is it, only one person at this business that can do a price adjustment.. Such an inconvenience for the customer!!!

The manager Chris absolutely lacks professionalism. This is the second time I ve come up here && he has been nothing but RUDE! He cuts you off while you re trying to talk && he also talks to you like you re stupid. His employee Bryan told me to bring my car up here so that they can service it, I was told that I could not stay with my car due to them being backed up. Sorry that s not my problem, maybe everyone should get on the same page && communicate what s going on more so that accurate information could be given out. They WILL NOT be getting ANYMORE of my time!!!

We just picked up our van from the Pep Boys location on Pleasant View Rd. in Memphis, TN. We were/are very happy so far, with the service we experienced at this Pep Boys, especially the great customer service provided by Bryan, the gentleman who worked with us. He works hard, as does everyone else working there. But Bryan stood out and I wanted everyone in high management to know about it! Our van seems to be working fine now. Having this Pep Boys work on our van was a pleasant experience. I just wished it had been free .

The owner here really needs to step up and get some decent employees with a work ethic. Every single time I come here I m treated rudely, not given any information, not updated whatsoever. I could put my car in this shop and if I don t call 3 times a day to get an update it would sit there until the end of time while they just watched it. Please if you are reading this just don t bring your car here. I promise you it s not worth it. You will be overcharged and under serviced.

Did a great job. Car runs great. Will definitely come back.Also, I just read some of the other comments in the review section. It seems there are a bunch of babies out there. It's embarrassing how much people complain about the smallest things.

A pep boys employee called me with the estimate for my car repair. I declined the repairs and told him to charge me for the diagnosis. The employee then offered me a 10% discount on the repair. So I authorized the repairs.The next day, Chris Lanier, a store manage, gave me a final estimate that did not have the 10% discount added. When I asked about the discount, he used an angry tone to deny that anyone at the store offered the discount. He seemed to be calling me a liar. I told Chris to talk to Lester, the employee that I last spoke to about the discount. Chris puts me on hold to call Lester and then angrily offered a 10% discount on the labor cost. Terrible communication and a rude store manager.

Everytime I come I have a pleasant experience. The guys here are very courteous and will do what they can to get you in and out but most of all they will do it safely and keep you informed about what they find outside of the performed service, every step of the way. From Robert to Jeff as well as the Manager Robert, if you're ever on that side of town stop in and give them a shout. You won't be disappointed!Pleasant View Rd.

HORRIBLE WHEN I SAY HORRIBLE I MEAN HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!!! Got there at 8 am for my apt got told too have a seat they ll b with me in a moment 8:30 came another person came in they started taking care of them so I got up and told the lady at the front desk I was there first and was told too have a seat and never got called back up there . They had the folder ready for the guy who came in after me & got him taken care of while I m just now getting checked in so his car of course was seen first . 1 pm comes and my car is having too get put back together without even getting fixed bc I have kids too pick up from school !!!!! WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TOO ANYONE !!!! While sitting there through those hours we were not being updated or anything !!!!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would . Horrible !!!!! HORRIBLE !!!! Horrible !!!

I went PEPBOYS to get an oil change about 2-3 weeks it was the worst experience I've ever had!!! Oil running down my fender and all over my engine. Oily finger prints all over the hood of my truck, my steering wheel was oily, floor mats had oily foot prints as well as my truck smelled like motor oil inside. On top of all that my trucks information sensor is now telling me I'm low on oil already . Even before this I should've known not to return here because they'd failed me in the past. I ordered some tires online and they came up as the installer. All I'm gonna say is my low tire sensors weren't on and have never been on! I was told it was nothing they could do about it! Why go back? I didn't know you could mess up an oil change sadly to say I will never go back to Pepboys ever again nor will I recommend them to anyone!

Had brakes and rotors replaced on my vehicle. A few months later I had a screw in my tire that needed immediate service, causing me to have to stop at another company. A lug nut was cross threaded, so they had to cut the bolt and and add another. I logged a concern with pep boys corporate who gave me a case number and stated i would be contacted. Three weeks later I still have not heard anything. Not happy and do not recommend.

Repairs took a little longer than expected. Once i picked up the car it was super nasty i guess they left the windows down while working on it and it was full of dust and carpets had shoes grease marks .

Alex and the crew there do excellent work. They helped me figure out I was sold the wrong rotors for my vehicle. They allowed me to go back to where I got them and get them replaced and they installed them for me for a reasonable price. That s looking after the customer
