Worst experience ever. I went there to get a car I just purchased looked at to make sure it was safe for a long trip. I was turned away because they said they had to hold the car for 2 or 3 days until a claim for any possible issues was cleared due to a warranty my car has. I told him I didn't care about the warranty and I was willing to pay for it, then he repeated himself about the claim. I don't care about the warranty, I just wanted my vehicle looked at. 2 weeks prior, I wanted to do something nice for my husband and get the oil changed on his car shown up an hour after opening and was informed I had a 3 hour wait, because the mechanic didn't show up until 9. Why have a shop open with no mechanic?

Went to get a nail plugged in right front tire on my company vehicle and used my Donlen fleet card and Edward added a coolant flush and a new tire to my bill and a new tire and when I asked who approved that he said Donlen did well I never used a fleet card so I didn't know so it bothered me and I called Donlen Fleet and they said that I requested it all. I told him that was a lie. They have already paid Them so all I can do is post this if Edward is taking care of you be aware he will stick it to you. It might have been Steven that did this I didn't ask guys name.store I'd 6396 work order 2041715 A 30 buck fix cost me 471.20

I wanted to share that Stephen at the Pep Boys location on 6791 Shelby store number 6396. Was so kind and very efficient. He was extremely helpful and any questions I had he answered them. He's the best.

I really am disappointed I came here about a week ago they did plug my tire. Came back because my tire was low once again so he basically told me I need a new tire. .. tire is still good I know I don't need a new tire I need someone to look at it to make sure it's not the rim... but whatever.

I just stopped by this location 4.1423@ 8:45am and requested " Courtesy Air" in one of my tires. Curly red headed guy said their Air pump is on the wall and they don't provide that service to Non Customers. The other guy at the counter I presume was the Manager just put his head down and diverted his eyes... I have been a customer there before but no worries since they couldn't provide Courtesy air, I'll take my future business elsewhere and who knows Maybe I needed a TIRE but they just missed a Potential Sale!

I had an appointment for today and the man with the mustaches did not want to see me, he said that I had to get new tires when my tires were new. He just wanted me to pay more and I think he just wanted me to leave to attend to a friend of his.

I brought my car In today. It was convenient location for me. I am happy with the work they did. They very friendly, helpful and professional staff.They also checked another part just to make sure it was working properly and it was. Honest to Thank you so much!I will definitely recommend them

Just wanted to say the Ed is a class act. He was honest in letting me know they couldn t diagnose my car and waved the diagnosis fee because they couldn t work on the car . Not many shops will take this approach. I hope to not need to come back, but if I do I know my car will be in honest hands.

I needed some tires for my car and Steven was wonderful and courteous with assisting me with getting them. I highly recommend the Pep Boys on East Shelby Drive for all of you car's needs.

Very happy with my customer service I received today. Had some issues with the Poplar Pep Boys location. After telling the Store Manager my situation at the other Pep location, Ed was more than happy to get me in RIGHT AWAY with a brand new set of All Terrain tires and alignment. He was accommodating to me with fast and friendly customer service. Thanks so much Ed!

I love bringing my car into this pepboys, ed and his team always do a great job. They're so pleasant and will check for other stuff wrong with your car while they're under the hood. I never have to worry about anything else being wrong with my car when I leave. They always help me with all my car problems and ask me before they do anything if I would like to have the work done. I don't take my car to any other place, I love it here.

I had went to pep boys because I was in desperate need of some tires. When I made it there Mike, who I had talked to previously stopped what he was doing to help me find new tires. Keep in mind I had a lot going on and needed tires right away. Even though he was backed up, instead of him telling me to bring my truck back the next day he got me right in and out in no time. After ordering four (4) brand new tires for my truck online (were not only the incorrect size ties but also was an incorrect type) and having them shipped to this store, Kohl (Manager), Andrew, and Kris came to my rescue. She worked out the perfect solution. The hospitality, good conversation, and great interaction with the entire staff made me appreciate I chose this location to purchase my tires. Great job and thanks to the entire staff for great customer service.

Today was our first time at Pep Boys and we will definitely be back. We were greeted by a very friendly tall gentleman who listened to our concerns and was very helpful. They were so thorough that it amazed us. The mechanic, Little Mario, did such a great job looking on my 350z that he found something that could have been dangerous and called us with the problem. The store manager was very friendly and answered our questions.What I liked most is they were honest. We thought we needed something else done to the car that we did not need at all. Friendly, honest customer service and strong mechanical expertise is so hard to find. Check out the Shelby drive location. We will definitely be back! Thank you Pep Boys!

These guys really care about their fellow humans went in to have some work done. Was worried I wouldn t make it in to another appointment elsewhere but they made sure I had time.So Very friendly, kind, great quality amazing work!!!!

My wife Talissiya and I had a wonderful experience at pep boys today. Great customer service and excellent service. Mr.Mike always goes out of his way to make sure everyone gets awesome service. The worst Pep Boys. I have had more bad experiences with this specific location before however, I thought maybe since I needed something basic they d be able to accommodate my request. I only needed someone to check my tire pressure. When I walked in I saw a lady and man both behind the counter. I explained to the lady what I needed she then looked over to the man who shook his head while eating a sandwich. The lady then said to me we re at lunch. I had to have her repeat it cause I couldn t believe what she said I just had to make sure I heard correctly . After she repeated it I just turned around and walked out. That s how you treat customers wow? Again, this is not the first time I have had an experience like this at this location.. needless to say I will NEVER come back to this location again the absolute worst!

I brought in an older car for a diagnostic today. The car isn't worth much and has been quite a hassle lately, after replacing the battery and alternator, and now with little electronic issues and a check engine light, I really nervous to have it looked at. That feeling changed immediately after meeting the manager, Alfred. He eased my nerves and reassured me that he'd figure out what was going on. The diagnostic test was very reasonably priced and a headlight replacement was a piece of cake. The work was done incredibly fast and I felt extremely confident getting back on the road.Long story short, Alfred is the man, his staff was very professional, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the work they did. I would bring any car to this Pep Boys and would recommend them to anyone who asked. Thanks a lot Alfred!

I hope this is the Shelby Drive location I'm posting about. I always call before I come to see if there is a wait or i could come as a walk in. Was told to come on and there wouldn't be a wait, got there and told i had to come back another day, they had only one mechanic. I only come for oil changes. Management changes every other month. Made several calls within one day, no one ever answers. Sign on Door last week saying they only had one mechanic and door was locked. I just stopped calling or going to this location. Hwy 64 not much better. Time to move on

Worst experience ever!!! Payed 1,000 dollars to get a radiator put in my car had to come back next week with the same problem. They told me they couldnt do anything about.., the guy who answers the phone very unprofessional

The guys were quick in guiding what parts to get and even offered to come back to fix up the skid guard. That too for no charge! Hard to find true, honest customer service like this nowadays.

My sister damaged her car from a curb hit so I brought it to this location. Heard rough things so I was skeptical but the new manager on duty is a keeper. He set me up with some tires and even told me about some damages I didnt know about. Love the fact he keep it 100 with me and physically showed me the damages and fixed it all at a decent price.

Went in for an oil change. I didn t have to wait very long to receive service. Marcus went above and beyond to service my car. He got my tire pressure light to turn off (it s been on for weeks, since my visit to Firestone). I m happy with my experience!!!

The transmission in my 2014 mustang had to be rebuild. Mike made sure everything was taken care of. He made sure my car was right before he gave it back to me. He genuinely cares & that's very rare now days. Wish there were more like him.

I am so thankful to Kohl, Jacob, and Marcus!! I took my car to have tires and rims place on it and they were so helpful! They were very informative and so knowledgeable of what I needed. They worked very diligently. I highly recommend "this" location! Thanks again guys!!
