I had a really good experience at this location. They were nice and knowledgeable. Andrew was very pleasant with me and the other customers. When having car repairs, it is rare to feel like you have been treated with care. This was one of those rare times. I feel comfortable that they were honest with me about my vehicle. I wish more places had the integrity and transparency that this location demonstrated.

Nice people and good service. Quickly diagnosed my issue which didn't turn out to be an actual thing so didn't charge me.In perspective, other 2 places I went to, kept trying to scare me and stating the problem might be bigger than what I would be anticipating. Glad I didn't even bother with them.Would definitely return.

I had my vehicle towed here while out of state for medical care. I spoke with the store manager prior to the vehicle arriving, explaining the work needed, being out of state, etc. The following day, they stated they would not be able to complete the work. Due to not being well and not being local, the vehicle was not my priority. Following back up, I was told a previous store manager (out on medical leave, ironically) claimed the vehicle abandoned and sold it, but never once contacted me. The new manager, Andrew, claimed they followed the process , which included sending three pieces of certified mail. Andrew could not verify the mailing address nor the dates sent, any other attempts to contact me, or any other details regarding the process . I was told a district manager would be calling me, which of course did not happen. I entered case #431-0260 with Midas Consumer Services on 12/08. The rep, Alan, had to be reminded to take my phone number after he assured me I d receive a call within 2-3 days from a district manager. I ve called back Midas Consumer Services again as of the date this review. The rep called the store to obtain the district manager/owner info, because apparently they don t have that info available at their consumer services group. Because of their lack of response, I ve had to hire an attorney just so I can get basic info and to stop getting the run around. Be aware that any type of problem may not ever get resolved with this shop unless you have an attorney at the ready.

Set up an appointment to get new tires and my car aligned. They got me in quick and the service was very good. Very thorough in the check out process and the pricing was very good for what I had done. Would definitely come back for any Service that I need in the future

I had a oil leak . Midas on pleasant view place a oil pan on my car. I didn t know that they should have started from the top down . So needless to say my car was still leaking oil. This Midas said that it was the valve cover . And that oil was leaking onto my belt that would cause it to break . They replace the valve cover on 7/29 charged me $850 . On 8/20 my battery died causing me to need a repair man to replace it . During the repair he noticed the the valve cover had a leak at one of the bolts . They replaced the cover and I guess didn t have the correct rubber washer for the bolt so the use some sealant . So it continued to leak onto my belt cause the belt to fray and almost break completely. So I m here again for them to replace what they should have replaced correctly the first time . If your a woman and have little knowledge of cars don t come here . They will trick you .

Very good customer service from the store manager very professional love their prices and how little time you spend there .At this business when you only have one tech working and the store manager rolls up his sleeve and helps his employee this person will go a long way.A TRUE TEAM PLAYER

Brought my car in for heater core replacement when I picked my car up it wouldn't even go in gear my steering wheel would click when I turned each direction safe to say they messed up more than they fixed.When I arrived the manager and the mechanic said my car was already having these issues which it was not. Poor attitudes and lack of accountability is the main issues here

Staff not that friendly(Original post is in front, everything after is edited due to Midas placing a comment). So to address the reasons, for staff not being that friendly at Midas on Poplar Avenue. Well it's simple it comes down to one thing. Greeting upon entering your establishment, friendly smile and making your guest feel comfortable and welcome while doing business with you. An based upon that, none of these things were met. But I gave you a two-star based upon the cleanliness of the property. Front desk in particular gets frustrated, like a child would. When asked too many questions in reference to oil change. I mean you tell me, is it not fair for the customer to try to educate themselves about repairs being done on their vehicle. Or is it more of a shut up and pay situation. Nevertheless due to me being a headache apparently to the front desk staff. I respectfully took my business across the street to jiffy lubes. Who were more than willing to explain repairs, oil changes and the difference between repairs. In reference to Midas owner requesting that I go to a private server to tell him or her about my experience, I respectfully decline. I'd rather keep my review in the open in public. So Stories can never get changed that way.

Tried to Scam me. They said to replace the catalytic converters and muffler would be $3500. I went to Major Mufflers and they did the whole job report Midas gave me for $875. Don t go here. They tried to take advantage of me. Then they gave me a cell phone of their close friend who would buy the car if I wasn t willing to fix it. Scammmers is the only appropriate word for that type of behavior.

ENTIRE STAFF WAS ALL ON ONE ACCORD. FAST AND PRECISE. GREAT TEAMWORK WITH VERY PLEASING RESULTS. ANDREW WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND UNDERSTANDING IN WHICH MADE THE EXPERIENCE THERE TRULY AMAZING. HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS FIRST CLASS AS WELL. THE ATOMOSPHERE WHILE WAITING ON MY VEHICLE WAS VERY WELCOMING AND COMFORTABLE. PLEASE MAKE MIDAS YOUR CAR SERVICE SPOT. I ve spent thousands of dollars with this store in the last year and nothing has gone well. They lied about how much it would cost and charged me double of what other shops quoted me. They were even way more expensive than the dealership. Plus the brakes are sweeky even months later. They do a terrible job and charge twice as much for parts than they actually cost. Only take your car here if you want to get ripped off and have bad work done. Will never go here again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place. They charged me 300 more dollars than the dealership would for a wheel job. Stay away and don t believe their quotes. They are typical lying mechanics for a corporation trying to rip off hood people for extra money. Terrible business.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

After an accident with a ( rude, arrogant, nonchalant manager) at Midas on Pleasant view, he really tried to charge me for a service they didn't do and just looked at my tired and decided that I need front brakes, even though that not the reason I went there. I was going to give up on Midas. But I decided to give them another chance and went to another location the one on Brookhaven off of Poplar. The service was like night & day totally different, the manager over there was so so nice and understanding. He listen to my whole complaint about my vehicle and assured me they would find out the problem. And they did. I just want to thank you all for being understanding and considerate. I ready felt like you cared. I will definitely be back if I have any other problems.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes

Daryl is incompetent and doesn t know the difference between cars. Even when they re totally different makes and models. When he gets called out on his mistakes and wrongdoings he ignores customers and their phone calls. I will be contacting corporate. He jacked up the price on the engine repair for the car I used to have. He sent wrong information to the dealership in regards to the car that I used to have. That caused delays in the processing of totaling out the car and delayed the process of me getting another car. He basically delayed 2 weeks of the time of everyone involved. I will be contacting corporate.

I have used this location on Poplar numerous times and I have never had one single complaint. Everyone has always been friendly, courteous and informative. They are always very positive and try to eliminate any wait time. I ve gone there quite a few times and they always do a really good job and they re really friendly and they re nice and reasonably priced so I just got my tire fixed and oil change and is out of there in like 30 minutes

This place was AMAZING and a life saver. I was in from out of town. I got a nail in my tire, I called and got over there. 10 minutes later they'd patched me up and didn't charge me a dime. Great service, friendly people, just awesome.

I was a little surprised when I saw all of these bad reviews for Midas. I went to this location on a Wednesday afternoon after my car had trouble starting. I made an appointment online and arrived at that time. My car was taken in almost immediately. I got my oil changed and they replaced my battery and did a whole outline of what my car needed. I was glad that they did this, because I have had my vehicle for 4 years and I have never been given a diagnostic unless I pay for it. The prices were reasonable and no I did not get scammed into getting things done that I didn't need. They were honest and friendly. Sometimes I don't know what people expect out of a repair shop. As far as all of these bad reviews, when it comes to vehicles, you can never guarantee an exact repair time. Some things happen and end up taking more time, so yes you may have to wait a little longer than you want. They got the job done and they did it right. They are fair and I had a great experience here.

I bought a Groupon and made an appointment a few days ahead of time. They were so hospitable and friendly when I came in. I felt welcome and that my business was appreciated. I had to leave the location due to an unexpected emergency and was able to pick it up soon after my oil change and tire rotation was completed. I'm very satisfied with the customer service and the quality of service. I look forward to coming back in the future!

Great working professional staff. Something new that notice with Midas is the No Credit We Say Yes program, 100 day cash payoff program. If your money is tight and need your vehicle repaired. Midas have a program that can help you out. Apply in the store in 2 minutes by asking your sales representative with easy pay finance.

Needed a new muffler on my 1986 Camaro and went to this location. Darryl and Charlie were there to greet me and got me right in.They had to order my muffler but I was in and out in about 2 hours time.Robert was the technician and did a fabulous job of aligning my exhaust and making sure everything was level and straight on the dual exhaust.I am happy with their work and wi be coming back to have shocks, struts and alignment done as well.Thank you guys for a great experience.Service: Exhaust

DONT COME HERE. I bought the synthetic package and after changing the oil, my car that has less than 10,000 miles started making a very loud noise. I came back since something must've happened and the guy there who was extremely rude told me that I had to pay 2500 dollars to fix it. I asked what they could do since my car was perfectly fine before this and he started to yell at me. I asked for the owner's number and he proceeded to grab ALL of the business cards and stick them behind the desk. I have never been more mistreated in my life. He was so rude I wanted to cry. I was nothing but nice and just asked what he could do to fix it. My car is now messed up and they didn't have the audacity to let me talk to the owner about the guy's behavior. He said he was manager but the way he acted, he should never deal with customers. I told him about all the reviews on Google where a LOT of people had the same problem as I did when they came in for a simple oil change and he said they were bad customers like me. This is a warning, do not come here. They don't care about customers and just want to scam you so you can spend more money at their company. I hope to never be as mistreated as I was. I have never been yelled at so much and I hope that he takes anger management classes. Never again.

I have had several things done to my car at this Midas location and Joe the Manager is always kind and helpful and the mechanic I prefer is Roberto because he actually explained to me and showed me what the issue was so that I would understand. He is also the only mechanic that has looked at my car out if 3 places I have taken it for a rattle that I kept hearing. Roberto was the only one that found the actual issue and fixed it!!!! Also they back their work!I will be taking my car here from now on!

Good special price for an oil change. What's the use of making an appointment (which was reconfirmed) if they're an hour and a half behind? Also, I was given a list of things that needed doing; when I took the list to my trusted mechanic, my car really only half of what had been recommended by Midas. There was no oil gasket leak, as they claimed. I was spooked by being told I had only 5% left on my brake pads; my mechanic said it was more like 30-40%.
