Always satisfied with the work Joe Stewart body shop does. Over the last 10 years. They have repaired and painted 3 vehicles of ours and all have been great experiences!! They have always been professional with everything at both Collierville and Memphis location.

My Husband and I have used this Body Shop for years. They are Outstanding and they Specialize in being Perfect. Bryan worked on this car for us and it looks Brand New. All the people that work there are Super Friendly and understand how you feel when it comes to your Automobiles ** Side Note- we have to remember the times that we are living in. It is hard to get anything right now. Be patient. It may take awhile. They are doing the best they can to get what is needed.

Very pleased with my service here. Had body work done on Hyundai sonata after it had been stolen and damaged. Happy I chose Joe Stewart to do the work. They have the friendliest staff, too. Highly recommend and will return if need be - but hopefully won't have to!

I never write bad reviews because I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt; but Joe Stewart is by far the most incompetent and unprofessional business I've ever used. Being the only BMW-certified collision shop in Memphis didn't leave me any choice but to use them to repair my 2022 BMW X3 that had been T-boned on the driver side. My accident was on March 22, 2023. Joe Stewart told me the earliest they could start on my car was May 31, 2023 but they could tow it to the shop, break it down/order parts, etc. and be ready to start on May 31, 2023. I was told it would be ready end of June/early July. My truck wasn't "ready" until August 30, 2023. It's now September 22 and I'm finally picking up my truck, again.I had it towed on April 5 to the collierville location. The point of contact was Ray. Around mid June I started calling Ray to get updates since he would never call me to provide them. He told me there shouldn't be an issue with the original timeline provided (end of June/early July).Sometime during the end of June/early July, my truck was transferred to the Summer location without my knowledge. I didn't find out until I called Ray for an update and was told that Lawrence at Summer would be my point of contact and that he would call to provide an update.Lawrence called the next day and told me that he would be taking over everything and that they needed to order more parts so the timeline would be pushed to end of July/early August of my truck being ready. Similar with the first timeline, as it got closer to end of July/early August, I would call the shop to get updates from Lawrence. Unlike with Ray, Lawrence rarely returned my calls.When I finally got on the phone with Lawrence, he stated there were delays and it would be closer to mid-August before my truck was ready. I moved out of Memphis on August 24; leading up to that I called the shop almost daily and never got a return call/update. Lawrence then texted me on August 23 stating my truck was back from the alignment shop but it would not be ready until Friday. I informed him that I was moving out of town and would have to fly back to pick up my truck. He stated he would call me on Friday with an update so I could book my flight.Of course, I never received a call from Lawrence on Friday so I called the shop on Monday for an update. I decided to text Lawrence since that seemed to be the only way to get an update. He told me my truck should be ready Tuesday or Wednesday; that he needed to buff and clean it; he later texted stating I could pick it up Wednesday and we agreed for me to pick it up at 11:30 am.I went to pick up my truck on Wednesday, August 30 at 11:30 am, excitedly. When I arrived, I saw my truck in the front and went inside and asked for Lawrence; I was informed that Lawrence had left for lunch (which is odd considering we agreed to the 11:30 time). I had my spare keys so I unlocked my truck and thoroughly examined it. There was a gap between the trunk and bumper. The driver-side front door had obvious scratches and dents in the panel (Lawrence ended up having to order an entire new door). The driver-side windows did not automatically go up and down with one push of the button as the passenger side did. There were scratches throughout the exterior that were not there prior to the accident as evidenced by original pictures taken by Geico when they examined my truck after the accident.Disappointed was an understatement. There was no type of quality control done prior to informing me my truck was ready. When Lawrence finally arrived from lunch, I pointed out all the issues to him. Regarding the trunk, his response was "the trunk closes properly so I don't know" - I told him I was not taking my truck in that condition.Fast forward to today, September 22, I finally have my truck. The blindspot light does not work in the side mirror and there are still scratches. I plan to take it to the dealership where I now live for them to check everything out. Long story short, I would not recommend Joe Stewart for any car repairs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I went there to get a estimate for my vehicle and the person talk himself out of my business. I guess he assumed I could not afford the repair cost. I guess my 2005 ford truck wasn't worth working on. All I wanted was a estimate so I could bring my truck back to get repaired. I guess if you are Black and not driving a Mercedes Joe Stewart Body Shop don't want your business. I don't need a business to tell me what they would not spend on my vehicle to be repaired.

Whoever is taking calls is rude and needs to find a new job since she hates hers. Guarantee she s ran off a lot of business. Definitely looking for other options because I cringe to poor communication skills and customer service .

My experience(s) have been professional and the work exemplary. There is a reason why the luxury brand dealers recommended Joe Stewart Body Shop and its because the shop understands that the quality of repair is paramount. The receptionist, the accounts manager and the shop manager, Lawrence Jr, were courteous, responsive and friendly. If there is any fault, it is with prolonged repairs. It seems every business is struggling with the supply chain and this company is no exception. But I appreciated their communications to keep me appraised of the repair process. I have, unfortunately, used their services on 4 occasions. I was very satisfied with all their work and would highly recommend them to a friend.Service: Body & Trim

I came by because I'm missing my hood latch and a connector on my bumper that makes it slide off on one side and I was told in order to evaluate it was going to be six to seven hundred dollars just to look at the vehicle and that I should send my car back to the dealership immediately! I told him that I was disappointed that he didn't want to do business with me and I left. The lady up front was super sweet but I feel bad for her working with a bunch of arrogant jerks like that! I'm glad I didn't give them a dime of the money coming from my dealer!

I always seen nice car park on the lot i ride down summer several time. My Truck had couple of damage. Q7 truck. Mrs Maxine The lady in the front. Omg she so patient with people I mean all types of people come in. people with car insurance is the best. So please see them they r the best. O yes jessica keep me up date. as will she was a #Cute lady# As well thank s to professional team! They the best works. Please see the if u like u car look new.

They do good work and are responsive to phone calls. Brian is good to deal with and friendly and Jonathan was also the same. They do take a long time to get your car back sometimes, but it is for reasons beyond their control, so you have to be patient. Thank you so much for excellent work you did on my Nissan. The customer service was great. I understood that the parts would take a few weeks to receive. I did receive my SUV looking better than before the fender-bender. I would highly recommend JSBS for your repair needs. I was afraid that with the high end vehicles they repair, that they would not look at my Pathfinder, but they gave my SUV the Mercedes touch.Service: Body & Trim

The best body shop~ staff/owners are attentive, communicate fast and efficiently, they handled everything with the insurance company. They were prompt about letting me know what to expect, and as things moved along, kept me updated and informed. I thought they were fast, fair, ethical, and professional. I got my suv back in record time & it looked beautiful, they even washed & vacuumed it. It looked brand new! I completely trust them, and would def use them again. I take my Jarguar truck to get an estimate on June 7,2022. Brian asked me if it was an insurance claim or if I was paying out of pocket, I told him I was paying out of pocket he ask me to pay for the parts so when I brought my truck back they would already have the parts, so I did that. I brought my truck back August 15 because that's the date he had me on the schedule. They had my truck for 2 months, no communication from them.. I called several times to be told that I would get a callback. Needless to say, no one called me back. So I went to the shop Nov 6th and was told by Joe that they had been trying to get in touch with me but that's wasn't true because the number that they had was wrong. They ever type a letter up why I was there to say that they mail the letter to my home, which I never recieved.I told Joe if I had received the letter I would have called them. After all that, Joe told me that he would move my truck to the front to get repaired. Once that was done, they didn't honor the original estimate . They ended up charging me 3 thousand dollar more than my original estimate. Also, when I finally got my truck back after 3 months, things were wrong with my truck that was working fine when I trusted them with my truck. I am very disappointed and will not recommend them to anyone. They wasnt willing to take ownership of the problems that occurred when my truck was in their care. Now I still have to spend money to see what they did wrong and get it fixed. Where is the accountability here?

Joe Stewart body shop is the most unreliable, unresponsive, and disrespectful body shop I have ever done business with. I dropped my car off a week 1/2 ago and ever since then I have regret my decision. My service advisor is Lawrence and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He has provided no information on when my vehicle be ready or if it has even been processed for repair. One of my biggest concerns is their lack of communication. They will hold your car for a week and never return your calls or give you an update. I've tried calling many times just to get very rude and disrespectful responses that never answer my questions or concerns regarding my vehicle. I have never had such a terrible experience when dealing with a auto service provider. I was advised by my Mercedes-benz service advisor to utilize Joe Stewart body shop for my repairs and it was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Please don't trust these people with your vehicle they are extremely unethical and shady.Services: Body & Trim, Paint repair

Outstanding results!Joe Stewart body shop was recommended to me by a friend to repair some dents and scratches on my SUV. They were professionals every step of the way. I had several areas on my car with dings and dents. They were able to get me in quickly, give me an estimate quickly and I am very happy with the outcome. This is by far the worst experience ever! They don t communicate with you at all! You have call and run them down to get an update! They have had my car for 3 months now and counting! Lawrence Jr consistently tells me that my car is almost finished! He said 4 weeks ago that it s going to the alignment shop and told me on 3 different occasions that I just got it out of the alignment shop! That lie is getting old! I m ready to put these people in my rear view mirror!Update: I finally got my car back and I will say my car is perfect, no problem so far so I would recommend them but if you want your car right back please stay away!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Body & Trim

Excellent service!!!!! My son attends college at the U of Memphis and had some damage to his vehicle during a storm. We choose Joe Stewart based on other google reviews. They did great work. A few months later after a massive rain the car was flooded in the middle of the back seats. Joe Stewart took it back in and realized a small issue with the 3rd brake light in the back window didn't seal properly and should have been replaced during 1st repair. They took the car back, worked on it for weeks to get the water out, cleaned the interior to make sure we had no issues with mold, ect. This all on their dime to make things right and with no help from the insurance company who should have helped as it was part of the original repair cost. Jonathan was extremely communicable during the process, talked about what the issues were, how they were going to address it and make it right. They even worked with my son (20yrs old) to make sure he had means of transportation while at school for the duration. A+++ to Jonathan and Joe Stewart Body Shop. I live 3 hrs away, knowing that they took care of an issue and worked hard to resolve any issued if something wasn't right and I didn't have to be the crazy parent driving to Memphis constantly to make sure it was taken care, speaks volumes to their customer service and care for their clients. I'm glad we choose them to handle our Auto needs and would recommend them to anyone!!Service: Body & Trim

YOU ARE A CUSTOMER HERE, NOT A CLAIM NUMBER!!!!!! :) :) :)I m going to sleep soundly for the first time since the wreck over a month ago now that the car is finally with Joe Stewart's, an experienced and competent auto body repair business.The company my insurance sent us to has been nightmarish for over 4 weeks, yet after only a short time of turning the car over to Joe Stewart, there is hope in sight.It's nice to find a locally owned and operated business that not only has the experience to do the job and actually wants put drivers back into their vehicles instead of just collecting from a big insurance company so everyone wins but the driver with a smashed car.

Absolutely amazing staff! Lawrence Stewart communicated with me throughout the entire process. After my vehicle accident I just knew my SUV would never be the same, but I was proven wrong. Joe Stewart Body Shop made my GLE 450 Benz look as though nothing had ever happened and I'm beyond grateful for their hardwork and dedication. They have years of experience working with high-end vehicles and it definitely shows in their quality of work! I highly recommend this body shop! I brought in my co-workers car due to a minor scuff/scrape on the side of her car. John Parise helped us and was incredible and beyond kind. He was friendly and got the work done super quick. I would recommend this body shop to anyone! Kelley Hendrix was also very kind and helpful in getting everything taken care of quickly. I appreciate everything they did! THANK YOU!

This was the most horrendous experience I have ever had. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service, lack of communication, and job performance. The service provider along with management was very unprofessional. Instead of listening to me (the customer) like he said he would, he disregarded my requests and it lead to my vehicle being at their facility for 3 and a half weeks. The estimated time he gave the insurance company was 5 days. I had two claims from an accident and the other from storm damage. There was no communication with my insurance company nor myself to repair my car. I was told by the body shop "we don't like to deal with your insurance". Me knowing this, I told him several times over that long length of time to start working on the bumper from the accident, they did not. My patience eventually ran out and I picked it up unfinished. The entire experience inconvenienced me. It was dissatisfying a paying customer had to endure repulsive treatment from a certified mercedes body shop. That should have provided top of the line service.

Worst experience I ve ever had with a body shop. Lawrence inspected my truck I brought in for an insurance claim. We talked about each piece that needed replaced/painted and what all needed done. When I picked up the first time, half the work was done. He claims he forgot to order the piece then turned around and said it was never in the original quote. Well, we talked about everything that needed replaced/painted. I turned his quote into insurance and that s what I got to pay him so that s on him. Who brings a vehicle in for a claim and want half the work done? Well after about a month or so they finally got the piece in. Supposed to be done within the 5 days they had it and it still wasn t. All To put one valence piece on. NOT TO MENTION, they didn t even color match the piece they replaced. Clear as day 2 different shades of white.Service: Body & Trim

They are unresponsive to phone calls and emails.I filed a claim with my insurance and instructed my insurance company to send payment directly to them, which they did. I did this due to me wanting them to know I was serious about moving forward with repairs as opposed to just getting an estimate. Lead times are tough these days.Lawrence is unresponsive and does not do what he says he will do.Two phone messages and a couple emails over 2-3 weeks and no response.I understand there are staffing and supply chain challenges these days, which would affect lead time. But, being unresponsive is not acceptable.Good luck if you decide to use them. They wasted 3 weeks of my time and still no idea about parts availability or scheduling. This, after I had to wait a month for my adjuster to respond. Now I have to start all over.Based on my experience, they couldn't be bothered with customer service.Lawrence sucks...

My 6 months horrible nightmare and still going. Took my BMW 640i for repairs in December 2020. They had to redo the job 3 times and J. Stewart had possession of the car in their shop for about 4 months. They even scratched my car at the shop and were going to return the car to me like that initially. Car was picked up finally 4 months later in the late afternoon. The next day I was already in Atlanta when I noticed the repaired area was done very poorly. I called J.Stewart and they told me that they would pay a body shop in Atlanta to fix the job. The body shop in Atlanta called J.Stewart and they refused to be pay. Now 6 months after I took the car there my car is still not repaired. I am in the process of contacting an attorney as I write this.Service: Body & Trim
