Ray is doing well in the new location. So hard to find any skilled machine shops willing to take on 40 yr old tractor engines. Always fair and honest about prices and time frame on your project. Give em a call or drop in and get the tour.

Very Poor Service. Took my engine to Joel in February 2020. He stated he would get to it in late march or early April. when I return he had not touched fixed it. I asked him when would he get to it, he stated he didn't know. He then asked me for $250.00 to get started. With that response, rather than do business with him. I decided to just pick it up from his shop. Later, I found out he removed 2 valves from my engine head and did not replace them but instead gave me two rusty valves. I would not post such a bad experience if it wasn't true. When I asked him about it he was not willing to try to do anything to correct the problem or satisfy me as a customer. He may have served others well, but he sure did me wrong as a customer.

Took an antique Kohler flathead to be resurfaced. It was about .006 from being flat. Left it with Joel. He resurfaced it for me exactly like I needed. It was done when he told me it would be. I would recommend them.

Best engine rebuild in Memphis..... and I have tried them all........common engines, rare engines, Joel has done them all for me . and my engines have GOT TO BE RIGHT the first time...... and JB Cook does that.....

They overcharged to check the heads, they charged my guy $80 but it was supposed to be $25-50 per head. He said he took an hour to check those heads and I called BS!!!!
