I had a good experience with them. They were patient with me. As I understand nothing about fixing my bike my self or what is what , I just know if it cranks up and if I can ride it . I called up there almost everyday and showed up to check on it , and they were always patient with me . My bike cranks up first try every time and I stay on my bike , and still is cranking first try , they changed the seat cover for me to that blue , they removed the ugly blinkers that were on the back , they put new mudguards on , they put a new chain on , rebuilt the engine , fixed a leak in the gas tank . My bill was by no means cheap however my bike works great and I had someone in my family who was able to vouch for fletcher as being an honest person , and I m happy with the way I was treated and that I m able to enjoy my bike nowServices: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

Let me tell you, not only did they do what was needed, they went above and beyond doing all that was necessary, stunning service, there is, in my opinion, not another motorcycle shop in Memphis that compares to the quality, compassion, and care that is given here...

Had bike dropped off, was told my bike needed a top end. They fixed the bike, Had issues to pick up the bike right away as Had family issues out of state. I pick up my bike after paying $1128. The bike doesn't even last 3 hours and the top end is blown again. It's a two stroke they don't go that fast I mean what kind of service shop does this to to customer's??Service: Engine repair

I really like these guys and their service. Super nice and my cylinder and parts were ready in less than two days. Price was very reasonable also. I ll go there again when I need them next time.

I had my bike towed there .I told him what my problem was ( not starting or staying on )and he told me what I needed while it was still on the wrecker and charged 600 upfront. They finally tell me it s ready .I got there my bike still was acting exactly the same . On top of that they did not give me one of the parts that I was charged for.His reply was what do you expect for 600 dollars old as the bike is.My bike didn t make it to the gas station across the street from him.I had left my bike nearby it got stolen .I think they pick and choose who to treat right.

Went there for a carb rebuild and rear wheel bearings. I asked them to look over the bike and make sure it did not need anything else. They called and said it was done. I asked if everything else looked good and they told me yes. When I got the bike back home it was leaking from the carb still, and it started leaking coolant into the engine and leaking through the side cover that was not happening when I sent it in. Worst shop I have ever dealt with. Lazy and rude.

I have used almost every motorcycle dealer in town for service and repairs. I have been disappointed by every one of them at least once. If you want a fancy showroom, lots of overhead, high prices, and a right out of the box mechanic working on your bike, you can go to any dealership in town. HALF of the time, the dealers will do the job right. If you want it done right the first time for a fair price, go to Fletcher's. Fletcher has decades of experience. He has his own machine shop. He can do almost anything in his own shop. Best of all, he is a rider. He treats every bike like it was his own. If it has two wheels and a motor, he can get it running right.

Took my dirt bike for new wheels due to i bought it with the wrong ones. They asked me to leave the bike and 300 dollar's plus they instantly told me bike had no compression all i wanted was wheels and brake put on. After a week or so I got my bike back with no brakes or new rims plus they took my 300 and did nothing.. Then told me where I could find used rims from. I Don't think I'll use them ever again..

I rarely write reviews. But "rare" may be the key word that compels me to share my opinion of Fletcher's Cycle Service. I have been riding, wrenching, racing, buying, selling, restoring and collecting motorcycles in Memphis since 1966. When Fletcher opened around 1978, most dealers began sending machine work to him because of his technical skill, passion for perfection and professional work ethic. We were never disappointed in Fletch's work or, most importantly, his consistent reliability. Our service manager used to say, "If Fletch tells you a chicken dips snuff, just look under it's wing. It'll be there!" Fast forward 30 plus years and Fletch is the same professional, honest and reliable "cycle whisperer" as always. Still fair, straightforward and easy to work with. But now, with vast experience and a proven track record as a world class performance wizard, he's the go-to guy for the casual rider to the seasoned enthusiast and potent competitors. If you ride motorcycles in the Memphis area, I highly recommend Fletch as the one guy you need to know for service, repair, performance and projects. He delivers the results I want, saves me time, often saves me money, frequently comes up with unique insight and improvements that are above my ability to stay abreast of the current day state of the art. How rare is that? Rare enough that I wrote this review. All of the above in simple terms? Fletch keeps me riding. Riding is my definition of fun. Subsequently, I'm always glad to pay Fletch because I know I'm about to have some fun and because I've been doing it long enough to know that I'm always happy AFTER I've spent my money with Fletcher. It's that simple. That, is both rare and priceless in my opinion. It is also my opinion that there is no replacement for displacement, experience or peace of mind. I recommend you get you some of each at Fletch's. Then, have fun. Be happy.

Wonderful people there. I took my bike there and they were honest about how much it might cost and how much time it may take. They had to clear up some space and time to devote to my bike. The dealership had it for over a month and failed to solve the problem. These gentlemen had the bike fixed in less than a week and it cost a lot less than I expected. I will never take my bike anywhere else.

If I could give this more than a 5 star I would. They were friendly, fast, and affordable. I would recommend this to anyone! My brother was suppose to get his motorcycle back after a week and they had a fixed and ready to go after 2 days. So worth it!!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. They told us 1 price and charged WAY more. They ask for bikes to be brought in clean but don't return parts clean. They said the metal flakes that they left inside of our cylinder were our problem. They will NEVER get our business again!!

Wish I could give them no stars. Went to Fletcher to have my dirtbike motor rebuilt top and bottom end. I thought something was up when he said the klx650r and klr650 have pretty much the same motor, which is not true whatsoever. I gave him a parts list along with part numbers and instructions about what I wanted done. When I got my motor back, later than quoted, he charged me the same price to just rebuild the top end. After letting him know that I was dissatisfied he assured me there was nothing wrong with the bottom end. It looked like he put the old oil back in the motor; it was solid black and smelled burnt, so even if the oil was changed the motor was not cleaned well. Also it leaked quite a bit of oil even the first day after picking it up. I did not want to pay Fletcher any more to do the job he originally quoted and decided to abandon the project and save for a new bike.

The reason Fletchers has been the go to motorcycle service authority for decades is because there is no replacement for experienced professionals and a proven track record. Enough said.

Parking lot is rough, but they seem to be on top of the dirt bike game. I stopped by to replace a master link clip that broke while on a 2000 mile trip. These guys saved the day!

Act like the only shop in Memphis. Arrogant and rude. We need alternatives in Memphis that aren't V-twin Harley related.
