I visited Extra Space Storage on Union Avenue in Memphis, TN, a number of times to arrange storage space as part of a complicated move. I am very pleased that Extra Space Storage was able to accommodate my storage needs. The facility is well managed, very clean, and provides a variety of spaces in a number of sizes that are both climate and not-climate controlled. The most important aspect of my experience was the customer service at Extra Space Storage. Johnathan and Devarius are extremely professional, with wonderfully positive attitudes and creative solutions. They went above and beyond to help me problem-solve and find solutions to my storage challenges. Fantastic customer service, thanks to Jonathan and Devarius!

Jonathan helped me while I had my experience at extra storage on 395 union. He was Amazing I didn t know much he help and talked me Thur everything. Most importantly did it with a smile and good heart I love great service so again thank you very much. Will be using you all again.

I would like to thank Roger and Jennifer at the Covington Way store. They were very professional and nice people. They assisted me and didn t seem to mind doing so. It is very hard now days to find good customer service in most businesses. They were just awesome and it was a pleasure to work with them.

The manager here is awesome. I left him a message because I had used my information from the same company but at a different location and I couldn t get in but he was totally cool and levelheaded. I recommend this location. It is a little bit pricey but it s downtown where there s a lot of people trying to use it they keep the place clean and safe.

Everything was easy. We were moving from Atlanta to Memphis. We were moving into an apartment while we looked for a house.Found this place on line. Reserved it online. We set it up three weeks before we were moving. When they noticed we hadn't moved anything in after a week, they contacted us asking why. I explained we took the unit early rather than risk not being available. They actually credited me a week, said it was the longest they could. I hadn't asked for it and was prepared to pay the extra. They didn't have to give me anything back. That was nice.Also, was nervous about critters. I've heard stories of damage. I've even had boxes chewed while in storage. Just picked up stuff yesterday and no sign of any critters.Easy to get in and out. Plenty of room for cars and trucks. Overhead door and rolling cart make in and out easy. Hopefully, I never have the need for storage again, 4th move in 3.5 years. If I needed storage, I'd use this place again.

I had a great experience with extra space storage at the union downtown location . The Process was very quick and smooth to book the unit and the staff was very professional and patient answering all my questions. . I would definitely recommend it. Thank you

Jonathan was extremely helpful and the storage unit itself is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Unlike my last storage unit I don't have to walk five miles and be lucky I made it out alive. Very safe and clean.

I had a smaller unit for one year while I traveled for work. I upgraded to a larger one. There was evidence of Rats in units. New Unit was not cleaned upon move in. I left after one week and was not given my money refund for the unused time. Disappointed with the entire process but mgr was kind to let me in after hours due to my leaving my purse in unit by mistake.

They rent units with holes in the roof. Literally leaking roofs. I told them when I moved in, thinking they would fix it, and they didn't. Corporate takes the money and refuses to fix the issue. This company should be suedm

*Update: Jonathan called me twice to ensure I have everything I needed and let me know about the light in the walkway being repaired. Phenomenal customer service!Leased my unit online over the weekend. Jonathan had everything all ready for me when I arrived with my movers and moving in was a breeze. One of the lights in the ppcorridor in front of my unit was out which made it tough to see my inventory numbers on my boxes, otherwise everything was smooth and easy. The location looks secure. Highly recommended.

Today ( November 7th) I stopped by to drop something at my unit and I was stopped by a maintenance crew who let me know that here was a flood on Saturday ( November 4th) and that my unit was flooded.I am baffled that no one had called me to let me know this had happened, especially as it was an event that happened 4 days ago. Had I not randomly stopped by, I don't know if they would have ever notified me. If they did notify me I could have saved some stuff the day it happened, but they thought is was better for my stuff to sit in 3 inches of water and collect mold. Filing an insurance claim and am furious the way this is being handled and the lack of accountability.
