Took my truck over about a month ago to have it painted and the truck was pretty rough. About a week later got a call to come pick it up and was disappointed to see that my once blue truck was now purple, some of the 2 sided tape from body molding emblems was painted over and some of the body work could have been better. I talked to Shaun and he had me bring the truck back and told me that he'd make it right and redo the entire truck. Just went and picked it up for a 2nd time today and was impressed. The truck looks 10x better than before and was blue again. Lol. What could have been a bad review and representation of his shop had turned into a 5 star review and a pleased customer. Would gladly take another vehicle over to have it paint and would reccomend to anyone needing a quick affordable paint job. Shaun's a hell of a dude. Most people I don't think would have done what he done. Pics included before paint job, after 1st paint job, and after the 2nd paint job.

I'm extremely impressed with the outcome of the paint job done on my truck. The top of my truck and hood was faded. And the manager Shaun went to work on it. He was very professional and knowledgeable of his craft. So if you're looking for a reasonable and great paint job, this the place to take your car or truck. And tell them the Pastor sent you!!!

The manager Shaun was very polite and professional. My SUV was painted really nicely and done in a timely manner. The staff was also really nice. I have gotten lots of compliments on my paint job. Thanks Shaun and crew! Go get your vehicle painted, you won't be disappointed!

Econo Auto Painting on Watkins in Memphis Tennessee was the most professional place out of all of the other Econo Auto Painting and Maaco businesses. As soon as I called a young man named Jordan answered and he was very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. The other businesses I called within the first second I knew it would have been a nightmare to go there. Jordan did an excellent job on my sons truck. He went from red to black. I would highly recommend them. Great prices and the manager was extremely polite!

This is my initial review. However, the manager, Shaun, told me to bring my car back in 2-3 weeks to fix my concerns.Pros:*Great Customer Service - They always answered the phone when I called to check on the status of my vehicle.*Affordable - I paid $643. This included $100 for repairs, $200 for 2 Clear Coats, and the cost of base coat.*Provides you a pamphlet on paint maintenance.*Manager is more than happy to fix valid concerns to make the consumer happy.*I love how pure this white paint looks.Cons:*Timely- It took 2 weeks to recieve my vehicle. However this was due to unforeseen circumstances with an employee and it being tax season.*Paint Drippings- I have about 3 areas on my car with drippings. One near the passenger side tail light. And 2 on the front bumper.*Dull Repair Areas- Unfortunately areas that recieved repairs look dull, lack smooth finish, and some areas I can still she my original paint color.*Lower Parts Neglected - On the lower parts of my doors from a distance you can see my orginal car color. These areas also lack a smooth finish.*Additional Clear Coat - Unfortunately, there are various areas that lack a smooth paint finish. This is detected when wiping car down with a soft wash cloth.In all, I recommend anyone who is looking for an affordable paint job to come here. I would recommend that you do some of the prep work in advance, such as taping the borders of things you do not want painted. Also, for trouble areas (dents, chipped paint) have someone sand them out in advance.As you can see, my car definitely does not look bad through camera.

Very sloppy job. Paid for prep work on my hood UPFRONT and never got it. Looks like they painted over the dirt and dust on the vehicle that makes the paint job look even worse. It's been less than 3 months and paint is already starting the chip on my bumper. The car is garage kept. They painted my moldings and door handles which wasn't painted before but then said bring it back in a few weeks to fix it blaming the painter "jumped" on the car. Why tell me my car is ready when you already knew this? What does taping off certain parts of the car have to do with painting it quickly? Who is checking to confirm these cars are painted the correct way before contacting the customer? The only good thing about it was the quick turnaround but that also explains the lack of detail and finish. Paint job isn't what I expected considering I've got the car painted before at the Pleasant View location for less with MUCH better results. Would've brought it back but just don't trust them with my vehicle considering how business was done the first time and didn't have the time to be without my vehicle again. Only reason I accepted the car because I NEEDED it back. I'm open to a resolution if there is one to be had.

Very professional. I can t express how satisfying I am. My truck was DONE RIGHT. The manager is very cool. Gave me good details on the after care. I was amazed to see the color on my truck I was so happy y all just don t know. He made my day. Did a wonderful job. I love it. Even put my tag on for me. Thank you. They have a sale going on too so y all better gone go before it ends. I LOVE THIS LOCATION.

I would like to acknowledge Shaun, the Manager at Econo, Watkins location. Upon pickup of my car after it was painted, it was discovered that there was a paint flaw on the front bumper. Shaun immediately brought it to my attention and assured me that it would be corrected. After re-painting it turned out fantastic. I was impressed with the care and concern he showed. He provides extraordinary customer service and he cares about customers.

Econo Auto Painting located at 1420 North Watkins was great! We were super impressed by the quality of the paint job and quick turnaround time in getting our car back to us. Icing on the cake was the excellent customer service - everyone that works there is super friendly and professional. We highly recommend!

I had the best experience at this location. I was a little nervous but Shaun made me feel very comfortable! He made me feel sure that I was in good hands. I picked car up and it was exactly how I wanted it! Also he fix a dent that I didn t even notice for FREE!! Can t beat that! Thank you so much Shaun!

At the beginning I thought it was a good place.I was treated good the first time. The person I made the deal with at the desk told me that he was going to fix the small dents on my car,because I paid extra money for those dents to be covered, sanded and painted of course.It was done,but I could have covered and sanded those dents better!The emblem that goes at the back didn't even sit well anymore. The man that I made the deal with asked me tbring the car two,or three weeks later.

I worked with Shawn, he was fast and very reliable. He got me in and out within 24 hours. The paint job was exceptional. The price was very reasonable. They had to paint my car a couple times. I had knocked off my bumper and had to order another bumper cover. When they put the bumper back on it had one screw in it it was barely hanging on, don t know how it stayed on that long without falling off according to my mechanic. When I went in the first time Sean took care of me however whoever did the second paint job did a very sloppy job. It had swirls all over it, the old paint underneath the new paint you could see the chips from the old paint. There was paint on my rims, my mirrors, my radiator, headlights etc. it was just an outright sloppy job. When I went in to show it to him he blamed me and said it was because of the wax job that I did and that s why the car had all the swirls in it but it was like that when I picked it up. He couldn t explain away the fact that they did not sand my car properly. I could tell by seeing the old chips under the new paint. It was just a downright sloppy job. Whoever did it just slapped the tape on the windows and just painted the car. And my grill that I had ordered and had given to them was never put back on. I Truly do not believe they sanded it and it was very dull. Sean said that this was all my fault because of the way I washed it., And stated that it was the also the way I waxed it using the wax that he had recommended. Then gave me a quote of 399 to redo it. And why would you try to charge me to redo a car that was painted in such a sloppy way?. I also requested a good clear coat but not sure they put a very good one on there or if at all!

Shaun, as part of new management, mentioned working hard to make sure people know they are going to get quality service at the N.Watkins Econo auto painting location. They met the timeline I was told the car would be completed by (5 days). The paint job and other body work exceeded expectations and I highly recommend people take their cars here. Staff helpful, personable, the work done was great, and great value. Thanks!
