There ended up being a minor problem with my rear bumper repair, but the people here made it right and therefore there's nothing to complain about. This group of people seems more professional than the last place I went to (Brewer's). I would come to these guys again if it came to it.

I was initially pleased with my car repair done at this location. Until I noticed that my radio no longer worked after I got it back. I took it back to them a few days later and they looked at it and said that there was nothing that they could do about it. Fast forward to today when I called about my bumper guard being reattached with some type of wire instead of factory fasteners and Mike Butler refused to acknowledge that it was their fault when I've never had any other body work done at any other time. Mike Butler all but called me the "n" word and insinuated that the bumper guard must have been reattached by some shade tree. Maybe because he knows that this establishment employed or employs them??? Now I've had to have 3 tires replaced because of these metal "hanger-like" pieces breaking loose and lodging into my tires, 2 of them today. I am not stressed about the tires because they are warrantied through the dealership but the careless and cavalier entitled attitude of Mike Butler makes me know that I will never spend nor refer another dime to this business ever. Car failed inspection after they replaced the catalytic converter. Repair was supposed to be OEM but it was an aftermarket converter put on instead, but I and my insurance were still charged for OEM. The weld done on the converter was horrible and leaked, and I now have to have another repair done on the car. Not to mention the entire process took almost a month when a converter should be a short job.UPDATE: The catalytic converter that they put onto my car was BROKEN, leading to the failed inspection. I assume they tried to pull a fast one on me being an out of state college student and getting insurance money rather than my own.

Update to my last review. I found that the rubber gasket surrounding the door was in fact still intact. And that a new one was being ordered. Also all the dings have been removed. They have been helpful to my family who were good enough to help with my issues of getting my truck over to them and back. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this place. Throughout the entire process, Jessica kept me updated on the status of my vehicle, so I never felt out of the loop. The lady behind the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough in making sure I understood the details of my repair. When I called with a question, the man who answered was equally great. All I have to say is don't take a job with customer service if you're not a very good people person. Just because you are having a bad day doesn't give you the right to take it out on the customer. She's knows what she's doing is wrong is wrong.

Was sent here through an insurance company for a repair estimate after I got tboned on I-240 a month ago. Everyone was friendly and helpful went I walked in the door. No complaints here. Haven't got my car fixed yet; therefore I can't say how well they repair. Seems like they get a lot of business from all over. Gave 3 stars for now. Will increase ratings once repair is done. Again this experience and thanks for reading

The wait was so long (3 weeks) that it made me frustrated but they did a great job fixing my car. I almost cried when they postponed the completion date again and again. Partly because they broke a small plastic when assembling and had to wait that part to come in. I gave them one star initially but I think I should stay neutral and fair, not letting my emotions deny others work. It s not easy to build a small business. I don t want to damage it. And I hope the owners think the same way and can protect their business by delivering customers satisfaction.

The team at DeSoto collision really went above and beyond for my little car. They kept me informed throughout the entire process of where my car was. After all the repairs were done and my insurance company had essentially closed the claim my battery stopped working. Mike replaced it himself without charging me and reset all the alerts in my car that triggered due to this. I recommend this place very highly - and even though I hope to NEVER need their services again, it s nice to know they are around if I ever do need them.

The company was ok to deal with. The insurance I had was horrible, my car was sitting at this shop for over 2 months, until the insurance company finally totaled to out. It s not the shop fault though. Mike was very good to me and made me feel like he cared about my vehicle. My only problem is, when I went to get my things out of my car since it was a total loss, I had some personal items missing and that really upset me. I would advise if you have anything in your car if value, take it out before this shop get your car, other then that, I really liked Mike!

After being hit by another vehicle, I had to take my car in for an estimate by a Geico adjuster (which was on-site). Considering this was the first time I've ever had to claim damages, and all the horrible stories I've heard about getting screwed by "another drivers insurance company" I was very reluctant to leave my car. From the moment I dropped it off they continuously stayed in contact with me, I also received amusing little texts daily with updates on when my vehicle would be ready. Although the damages weren't extensive, they had to replace my bumper and a couple of other minor repairs. I had my vehicle back 2 days later. I was extremely happy with the work and the staff. I would definitely visit this shop again, even on my own dime.

DAC is the best in the city, I had sent my car to there body shop after I had damage to my car after hitting a deer. My car looks great and they did a fantastic job. It was terrible! After not ever having to go through the horrors of a car wreck l didn't know how everything went. They talked to me like it was 1923 not 2023! I will never visit them or recommend them to anyone!

These people did a terrible job to my car they were very rude and unprofessional JESSICA CLINKENBEARD was the adjuster on my car. She lied and said the claims adjuster didn t approve my car for an alignment. I called him and he said he didn t tell her that nor did he speak with her via phone. Told me sounds I m hearing from my car didn t come from my wreck because my damage wasn t major enough. The impact that my car took was really hard. She wasn t in the car when it happen or didn t drive my car before it happen so how can she tell me anything. I picked my car up today they did an awful paint job they chipped my paint on my car as well. They didn t walk me to my car when I picked my car up because she knew she damaged my car and knew the paint job was messy. I have chip paint on my bumper how in the world do you replace a bumper an also paint it an it has chip paint on a newly replaced bumper. Not a good experience at all. I have worked in the service/ customer service industry for over 15 years and I don't see how the other reviews considered these two women friendly. They did not show any quality in good customer service relations. I guess because another driver's insurance was paying for the damages and I wasn't paying for it they could care less. They never communicated with me AT ALL unless I called to inquire and when I did call they seemed annoyed. Finally after getting my car back a week later than quoted, I go to pick it up and as I'm driving on the interstate my tire pressure warning light turns on. I pull over to find a completely flat tire and a screwdriver gashed in my tire from THEIR shop. Next day call no problem bring it in we will fix it. I drop off the tire and head to work with my spare on. Then after work go pick up the tire and the guy that works in the shop literally rolled out my tire from the shop to me and said ok man your all ready. I said to him do I need to go across the street to pep boys and have them put it on? Hesitantly, he said well just pull up here and I'll take care of it. I mean damn you are a repair shop and it at yalls shop that you drove my car and ran over the screwdriver. So unprofessional... I mean from the front office to the shop and hell even the damn geico rep (who never did answer my phone call after I called to complain, which before when we were going through the damages and he said call me for anything - here's my number). What a joke. BEWARE. BEWARE. Oh and now my front bumper is starting to come apart -- just some sh**y after market bumper they used.

This company was recommended by my insurance adjuster one thing that I felt is that they didn't communicate enough about what was going on with my car. Every time I called and asked about the status they told me that it will be ready Tuesday and the end of the day, then it was changed to Wednesday end of the day, well it was finally ready Thursday evening. What was suppose to be a 2 day job ended up being a 4 day job. There was a mix up in the parts ordered but they never communicated that to me. When I went to pick up my car one of the lug nuts on the front tire was missing and they had just installed 4 brand new tires and rims. I had to wait for 15 minutes while they ordered one lug nut from a local parts store to be delivered to them. I assume they didn't do any quality checks to make sure everything was OK. I really didn't want to believe they were going to let me drive off and not check their work. The tire sensor light popped on as we were riding down the highway and got off on Germantown Road and Stage and pulled into PEP Boys Tire and Auto who informed us there was too much air in the tires with the size tires we had it should be 30-40 PSI and the tires were reading 42-47 PSI. Also they told us Desoto Collision didn't reset the censor and scan the new tires into the system since they were new. The guy at PEP Boys had to do it for us and reset the sensor. Other than those problems they did a great job on the detail of the car and installing the rocker molding, I'm just disappointed in the non-communication and quality check of the vehicle.

They have been extremely helpful and patient with me after my car got wrecked. The mechanic, paul, really went out of his way to try to help me with my car and fair pricing. Jessica and vickie were very helpful over the phone in answering all my questions, too.

The service was fast and the company administration did a good job of keeping me updated on the progress of the repair. Unfortunately I was highly disappointed when I found out they stole money that I had left in a jar in my car. They threw the jar in my trunk hoping I would not notice it soon. When I called to complain to the manager, all he said was I'm sorry, and we will make a note about it in our next meeting. Its completely disrespectful to go through my belongings when I've trusted my car to you for repairs.

I was initially happy about the work that was done on my car, until I realized that they broke my hood latch, and no one informed me of it. I actually like this place i was pleased with everything. Amazing staff,very pleasant attitudes, very friendly. It only took my car a day to get fixed works really fast & jessica kept me updated on everything no complaints keep up the good work

They don't inspect the whole vehicle when it's been damaged I was told a rim was my fault it was that way when I brought it in had to be I drove there to have them fix the truck also to find out my rear axle got broke because they didn't look to see that either
