I took my car up there. And brain is the most nicest guy you u will meet. The service is wonderful. It took a little longer but they stayed in contact and got me right. I will highly recommend Coleman Taylor. Thanks guys.

Over all great experiences Brian, Tyler and turner were very helpful with the insurance claim. Once they got the insurance claim approved my truck was ready the next day. Awesome customer service and they will stand behind there customers dealing with insurance highly recommend awesome customer service and a great turnaround very polite and professional organization!!!!

This place gets 5 stars! After the warranty company Endurance didn't pay for my transmission, brain gave me a huge discount and he was very nice and Patient! Brain your customer service is way beyond 5 stars ! Awesome Awesome Awesome is all I can say!

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo to Coleman Taylor, the General Manager Mr.Brian and his sons did an outstanding job replacing my transmission. Mr.Brian and his sons are very knowledgeable, professional, respectable and nice. They diagnosed the issues with my Jeep and they worked diligently repairing the issues. My Jeep is driving smooth and I am very satisfy with their work. Thank you Mr.Brian and your sons for a job well done. I have gave them my truck 5 times and they still haven t stopped my transfer case from leaking. They break other stuff inside and around your vehicle. Then don t say anything about it. Poor communication within the building and telling me my vehicle was ready. Don t recommend at all.

My trucks transmission went out. Took almost a month to get it fixed. I took it home less than 25 hours and it was completely out again. They towed it. Another five days I finally got meh truck. Add that to rental car prices for the month I had no truck. paid over $6000.00. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely not worth it.

The Coleman Taylor on Stage is a trustworthy place to take your vehicle in my opinion. I knew they had a good reputation. I took my Camry to them to have my transmission rebuilt about six months ago. So far so good.

Couldn't be more pleased with Brian and his staff.Easter weekend and shift solenoid went out, leaving me stranded 1800mi from home. Called Monday morning and Brian told me to bring it in. By 230pm him and his staff had diagnosed, acquired parts and had me back on the road.Can't thank these folks enough!

I reached out to Brian at Coleman Taylor/Mendenhall about what i thought was my transmission going out. Brian had my truck picked up and inspected within 24hrs. He notified me with the news that my transmission was fine. I SIMPLY needed a professional tune-up.I'm thankful because Brain could've very easily went ahead and put me another transmission in and sent me on my way with still having the same issues. I appreciate the honest and favorable service he rendered to me. Brian recommended Winchester Tire and Alignment for my tune up. My truck is purring like a kitten.Thank you Brian for your astounding customer service and for not taking advantage of me. May God bless this company and Brian richly....

Took my vehicle to Coleman Taylor on S. Mendenhall 3/2023 paid them $2400 and within one week my transmission slipped again. I paid for the warranty so why the attitude very nasty attitude from the Manager & the lady who works there hangs up thr phone on me . I've never raised my voiced always been polite to them, So for the second time they get my vehicle and rigged it up again. Here it is July and they have my vehicle again because the transmission went completely out on me and my kids while on the expressway. I'm happy I did get the warranty because people will play games with your money and don't give a care about you or your family.

The did a quick and shi*ty job on my truck. My ac was working before I took it to them. They broke my gear shift and didn't tell me. Bryan is very cocky and smart mouthed. Transmission is so far so good but I definitely should've went elsewhere. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

fix my car right away they put me in touch with one of the mechanics Tyler who explain to me what all my options were about my repairs very genuine person does great work would highly recommend the shop to anybody I wish I could give more than five stars phenomenal job thank you guys so much

I tooke my truck here to be inspected for rear end issues. The staff was was honest and told me about another warranty that could cover the cost instead of charging me. No work was done but the honesty says a lot. Thanks

We are so very thankful for the attention that was shown to our college daughter. She had broken down on the east side of Memphis. We had the car towed to Coleman Taylor transmission. It was getting close to closing time and she was headed to Alabama. As parents from Arkansas we were so worried about so many things especially her safety. Coleman Taylor took great care of our daughter and her car. They stayed in touch with my husband and kept us informed of everything. I will always be grateful to them for helping her and going beyond closing time So that she could get on her way. The owner explained, if it was his daughter he would hope that someone would do the same. After going to 3 different places and everyone telling me I will have to wait till the next day to get my car check, I stop here with Mr. Brian and him and his crew help me right away. Thank God it was a small issue and they fix it in less than 20 min. They also went above and beyond with checking my car and making sure everything was working perfect before leaving their shop! Will definitively recommend them to anyone.

We had an URGENT need for a transmission in our 2004 Chevy Avalanche. Our Daughter was coming in about 10 days to take the truck to Miami where she lives. We needed a National company for a warranty that would cover the work, not only in Miami, but in EVERY state she traveled thru to get there.We spoke with Brian. He was knowledgeable,, considerate and concerned. Brian expedited the work and had our truck towed in and repaired in 1 day. Brian wanted us to put as many miles on the truck as possible so he could inspect the truck for any issues related to the replacement of the transmission, before our daughter arrived. Brian was being proactive. Brian didn't want our daughter to encounter any issues as she drove the 15 hour,1,023 miles to her home. Presently, the climate in America suggests that there is no genuine civility or respect between Whites and other races. I am honored to document that the Staff at Coleman-Taylor, were genuinely friendly, cheerful and caring with us and Brian wasn't just Professional, Brian behaved as a Parent and used this opportunity to personally do all he could to ensure her safety on the road alone with such a long journey home. I can't say enough about Brian and the Staff of Coleman-Taylor at 3674 Mendenhall Road in Memphis,TN.Service: Transmission

I am beyond pleased with the service I received at Coleman Taylor!! Brian was extremely helpful, as was everyone that worked there. They exhausted every option free of charge until ordering the computer my car needed. Very good service and even better people here. Honest!!!! When I called the person I spoke with was pleasant and professional, so I was not at all prepared for the unprofessional manner in which I was dealt with. I went with this shop because of the time frame I was given the work would be done and that was a week in half to two weeks. Ok so I called to check the status of my vehicle after about two weeks and was told that they hadn't gotten to it yet, no mind youIhave a leak in my sunroof Ihave to have repaired. Okay, now week three I called to check the status and was told they had it up now ok we got it going on, nope I call the following week and they say we was talking to you about someone else's vehicle that's just like yours. Huh, when will my car be done and can I get some form of a break on my price because this is beginning to dip into my car money. We will see what we can do, ok. Get there to get my car and ask what about what we discussed about knocking something off? No, yelling at me, so I started yelling and in the end he did knock a little of for the inconvenience and I get home and my windshield has a Crack that happened on their watch. My car rode good but the time and attitude and extra damage my vehicle has there has to be a better way. They did the work and I'm back but the money I saved will have to go towards my windshield.Service: Transmission

Transmission failed on us during a quick trip from Atlanta GA. Brian and his crew where able to get a tow, in the shop and turn around in 48 hours. This also delayed some other customers jobs, and he was able to work around it and was able to managed to get extra help in on Saturday to finish up other jobs. He was able to be understanding and help get us back home to our family quickly. This review was long overdue. Thanks again for turning a night mare into a small bump in the road. 2009 Suburban is running great since the repair couple months ago....

While traveling thru Memphis on way to Florida, downshift unit of transmission went out! Coleman Taylor towed FREE to their facility. Being an older model motorhome van, part was unavailable but WALTER worked his magic and was able to get us back on the road in a few days! Bryan, the manager was awesome about keeping us informed on the progress as it was a holiday weekend coming up. Would highly recommend Coleman Taylor Transmission for their expertise AND customer service! 5 stars all the way! Also got a call a day later to see if all was well and we were home safe!

I would like to say thank you so much! I went through so much to get my car diagnose and fix. I went to three different shops with no results. Thanks to Coleman s transmission on S Mendhall! The manager got my vehicle in, diagnose, and fix in one full day. If I m not mistaken, the manager name is Brain. Brian thank you for making my experience AMAZING!!!!! I look forward to bringing my vehicle to your location for all my mechanical needs.

Brian was awesome to work with very helpful and very professional. I had one of my customers from Nebraska who was stranded in Mississippi when the transmission failed on a car we had just sold her a few days earlier. I called Brian and he handled the whole process from arranging the tow to getting the transmission replaced. Thanks Brian for your help. If Brian would do that much for some guy from Nebraska that he has never met imagine what he can do for customers in the Memphis area. Five stars are not enough Brian and Coleman Taylor get my highest recommendation.

My car was in another shop and they kept it for 5 months with no results. They kept giving me the run around and broken promises. I finally got feed up took my car to Brian and his ColemanTaylor team.. Got my car in ten days and it working fine. The price was good also...considering the other shop had been doing lousy work on my carThanks

This company said we brought our car into the transmission shop for a loud noise from the tailpipe. Don't trust them. They even changed the work ticket .

I went in fearing the worst for my 2003 Chevy Avalanche. I expressed my concerns and they assured me that they would look into every possible small fix. Unfortunately, I needed a full transmission rebuild or a remanned unit. I expected to pay much more than the price quotes to me, and they're have my vehicle ready in just 2 days. Keep in mind they had to get the transmission in the shop, remove mine (which my truck is 4WD) and replace. These are honest people. He even asked me to return a month later for a free follow up. My schedule hasn't permitted this yet but I will return. My truck runs like new again.

My fiance & I were on a roadtrip across the country when our transmission failed. We pulled into Memphis after Coleman Taylor was recommended to us. They fit us in immediately and gave us priority since we were travelling through. The transmission was replaced in less than 24 hours, leaving us stranded for only a day. The work was professionally done & we have since driven the car 1500 miles with no trouble. Thanks Coleman Taylor!
