Beware! I visited this location a few times and recently had the worst experience. I went for a repair last week, specifically replacement of an o2 sensor, dropped my car off and had to call to see if it was ready. They provided the shuttle service which is awesome. However, as soon as I got my car back I noticed that my air conditioner was blowing hot air. I proceeded to call several times around 4pm and no one answered the phone or returned my call. I tried again the next morning and told them what was going on b/c this didn't happen until after I got my car back. I dropped the car back off for them to recheck their work and had to call again at the end of the day to see if it was ready.I was told it was nothing that they've done. I went elsewhere to get an inspection and was told that my a/c compressor pigtail was disconnected and it was underneath (close proximity) to the o2 sensor. That cost $280 for someone else to tell me that after CB "rechecked" their work. I went back to CB to tell them about the inconvenience, showed pictures, and an employee checked with the technician about the service performed on my car. The first time he checked back with me he said the technician unplugged the a/c compressor pigtail to get to the o2 sensor. The next time he came back and said "he might have, we don't know and can't determine". They took no ownership in what happened and did not try to provide any type of relief for my inconvenience or money spent on finding out what they did wrong. Do not waste your time here unless you want a group of people that won't take ownership and won't cater to the customer's concerns. I'm unfortunately out of more money for something they did not complete and failed to correct during the "recheck". I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I took my 2013 Chevy Impala in on 12/27/2023 and the customer service was good. I made an appointment online which I highly recommend. My car had a Transmission Control Module (TCM) error and a check engine light. The associate took my information and the details related to my car. I received a text a few hours later that contain a full inspection report. I like that I was able to communicate with the technician via chat on my phone. They also sent a link that had detailed pictures and videos of the issues that they found which was really impressive. It would have been nice for the guy that took my order to explain that the process a bit more to let me know that I would receive pictures via text and that I could communicate via text messages. This is a really nice feature! You do not have to call unless you want to. I had several questions about the inspections and they responded via text within minutes which was great. If a repair is done, you also have the option to have them save the old parts for you which I didn't know was an option until I got my electronic receipt. I would also like to see Christian Brothers email the quotes and receipt to the customers for future reference. The quote that I received had 7 jobs. They had pictures of an oil leak, water pump issue and other issues. I approved 3 of 7 jobs via text message for a total of $947. The 4 jobs I declined totaled around $6,000. The labor is a premium but I like the fact that they did not pressure me into getting anything done. It was up to me to approve via my phone. Overall, it was top notch customer service from the beginning to the end. The issues that I paid for were addressed. I highly recommend this location.

Absolutely amazing experience! After having our truck sit untouched at Doug's Auromotive for 6 days, we picked it up and called CBA. They immediately offered us a spot, kept us thoroughly informed, and our truck was fixed less than 48 hours later. Thank you Christian Brothers!!

We lost our mechanic of almost 30 years to cancer. About a year since my first experience with Christian Brothers Sonic. It has proven to be an exceptional Auto Repair Center.We have several Motor Vehicles constantly on the road. From regular maintenance through an engine replacement, Christian Brothers Sonic has approached our issues with thoroughness, capability and integrity.Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive encountered.The great difference between Christian Brothers Sonic Drive and virtually everyone else that I've experienced in Memphis the last 25 years is the way they do actually stand behind the work.

Nice and helpful people. But they quote a little expensive.Update: Got my car's first service here. Although I had to wait for some time to get the servicing done. The staff was very courteous and polite and also offered me a drink. I didn't get any detailed receipt of the services they performed on my vehicle but I am assuming they did a great job for just 29$ (I bought my own engine oil & filter) Which is a great deal. I recommend this place.Really disappointed on my last visit. After letting the guy know that I need an appointment at 5.15 PM for a regular servicing and a tire rotation, he agreed. when I reached the store, he ignored me for 10 minutes and later said that its almost closing time we cant do a tire rotation. You will need to be back again. Never coming back here again.

Don t let the friendly disposition and God-fearing name fool you, these incompetent and dishonest people will screw you with a smile on their face. This shop misdiagnosed my electrical issue as a parasitic draw . This after changing my battery and allegedly testing my alternator, which they charged me an outrageous price of over $500. Keep in mind that the battery price is around $140 and that labor should not have taken more than 10-15 minutes. Fast forward a few months, and in spite of me following their guidance and disconnecting my battery after every use (I live out of town and don t drive it often), I was once again stranded with a destroyed battery. I asked for them to make things right on the screw-job and provide me with a replacement battery, they refused. I replaced my own battery and drove the truck to Ron Archer s auto, who correctly diagnosed my problem as a faulty alternator, where it was fixed for a reasonable price. Take your business there. The only thing Christian about these folks is their name.

I had an emergency while driving my car on the interstate. It started overheating, and tried to shut down. Thankfully, I was close to Christian brothers on Winchester. Brought my car there, and had a hard time finding a parking spot. This is probably because Christian Brothers is a great auto shop. I frequently use the Collierville location, and trust them. I received the same professional service at the Winchester location.Mark was the man who communicated with me daily, and kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle. He went above and beyond to try to help the repair resolve as quickly as possible.The staff was very friendly, and I'm thrilled to have my car back, running well :)I experienced a quick turnaround, as it was in the middle of a holiday weekend. Highly recommend the Winchester location

They have a tech there named Josh Parker. He diagnosed the problem installed a new camshaft, fix my air conditioner and charged it, fix the oil leak. All in a reasonable amount of time for a decent price. I highly recommend Christian Brothers automotive ask for Josh.

The scheduling time frame is fast with little down time. They offer a free ride home if you don't want to wait in their lobby with free drinks.. Very friendly and courteous staff in a world where people want it now. Not too many choices of my situation of having two different Audi. The Audi dealership on Covington, overpriced and 30 minutes away from Collierville.

I have been to the Collierville and Winchester locations and the service is great with both. I had an oil change done and even though some services are a bit pricey they are honest and stand behind their product. Will definitely continue to go the them.

$2300 to misdiagnose problem 2 times finally found the issue and wanted $3000 to replace a $400 module. They Lost parts from under the hood and created another issue with parking sensor. When asked about it David told me to drive it for a while and it would go away. When I called back about missing parts and sensor I was told that I would get a call back in a few minutes... HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE!!!

I had a bad experience at Christian Brothers Automotive on Winchester. The staff was nice and helpful, but the prices were outrageous. They gave my truck back with a new error code, indicating a misfire on one of the cylinders, but this code did not occur previously. I will not be returning, and you have been warned.

We were on a trip far from home when our vehicle started making a noise like the transmission was going to grind itself into oblivion. Even though Christian Brothers, like every other mechanic garage between Nashville and Memphis, were booked solid for three weeks to a month out, they made time to service our vehicle.Special thanks to Evan who works the front desk. Evan provided Ritz Carlton level customer service, from carefully listening to our description of the problem to helping us find a rental car and offering transportation if nescecary to keeping us updated on the vehicle's status, to continuing to research the problem as the vehicle continued to make the noise after the first fix and getting us in touch with a Christian Brothers near our home to complete the service under their warranty. (I worked in the food service industry for over a decade and Evan gave better customer service than many of the people I worked with over the years.)Christian Brothers' mechanics fixed a leak in the steering system that GM mechanics had overlooked as a minor issue that they did not think was the cause of the problem, and when we got back home they replaced the new steering pump they installed in Memphis with an updated steering pump (GM has since redesigned the pump because even just a tiny bit of air in the system that can be impossible to bleed out was the cause of the problem noise). For almost a month Evan was in contact until the problem was truly solved.When Christian Brothers says they are trying to re-invent the mechanic garage experience they aren't kidding and they, at least in my opinion, have done exactly that. From start to finish Christian Brothers impressed and their high standards of care, cleanliness, and customer service was the same no matter what state we were in, but Evan really went above and beyond and I hope the company recognizes his professionalism and rewards him for doing such a great job representing and delivering the company's ideal of customer service.

At this point this place is getting over on women!!! I don t even rant or make reviews but this is ridiculous I have taken my car to them now for the 3rd time and still having the same issue I took it there for initially!! First time I was charged for intake gasket around $800, car still stalling took it back to them was charged $600 for mass air flow sensor(that were already new and was told didn t need changing), now still stalling I have taken my car back to them once again and they are trying to charge another $1,000 for a fuel pump! I ve paid over $1300 at this point to still be having the same issue I brought the car in for! Mind you the problem they are stating now could have been seen from the 1st 2 diagnostics done! So now I m have a strong feeling they just doing anything to my car and charging whatever because they re dealing with women! Christian Brothers Automotive-Germantown

The service advisor was incredibly patient and informative. Free shuttle service. They'll even call you an Uber if the shuttle drivers aren't available. The scheduling process was quick and easy. They were able to see my car the next day. Christian Brothers are the best!

If you've read any of my other reviews of shops, you know I have a massive amount of distrust in many local shops. I will say, if what the service advisors said is correct, I appreciate the honesty. There is a chance that they were overbooked or wouldn't make much money on the service and came up with an excuse to not do the service. Keep in mind, service advisors are NOT the people who work on your vehicle. ALWAYS to directly to a technician. Many of these advisors will absolutely screw over the techs.We scheduled an appointment through repair pal. That was a mistake. Repair pal only told the shop to "address concerns of customer." We were under the impression the store was aware of the service we wanted. Nope. Drove all the way from Horn Lake to Germantown only to be told changing the transmission fluid wasn't advisable. I beg to differ. The lot, road, and lot next to the shop was FULL of cars... There was no way they were going to even get the service done today. Suffice to say, we didn't get the work done. The advisors (NOT the techs) said they could do the service but there's no guarantee the car will make it out of the bay.. The key point here is one of the men said, "if you're not having any issues shifting, I wouldn't bother with the work." That is literally the point of preventative maintenance and I absolutely voiced that. You wouldn't wait until you have no brakes to change your brake pads, same goes for the rest of the laundry list of maintenance ALL vehicles require to last. I have worked on cars most of my life and only took my Elantra here because the transmission is a sealed system and has to have a machine pull the fluid and replace it.. Hyundai recommends replacement every 30k miles. The "lifetime" fluid means the LIFETIME of the transmission. Gone are the days of "if you haven't ever changed the fluid, don't because the shards in the fluid keep everything together." That applied to old cars, not newer with electronic transmissions. Transmissions have filters for that. If you clog the filter, you choke the transmission. Just to verify my knowledge is correct, I'll be contacting the dealership to confirm this info. Once I have an answer, I'll update my review.

This was my first time experience with this company and right from the start, the staff made a great impression with me. They greeted me with kindness, professionalism, enthusiasm, a genuine smile and concern and eagerness and seemingly the qualifications to address my issues with my vehicle. The superb customer service put me at ease and I especially appreciate that they even provided courtesy transportation while I waited for the diagnosis of my vehicle. I am leaving this review in hopes that somebody will see it before they choose to go to this place, please do not bring your car here, easily the biggest crooks in Memphis and they have absolutely no problem taking advantage of people.I brought one of my cars here that my lady drives to work, and they kept it for three days and never called me to give me an update, i had left it there for a wheel balance.upon revisiting them days later, the barney fife at the front desk (michael) had the audacity to tell me and my lady that they came across "other repairs" that needed to be fixed before they could go ahead and provide their wheel balancing service, and listed a bunch of nonsense that we did not even ask for, we just needed a wheel balance, easily a $100 job, if anything.the car was in the same exact spot we parked it in on their lot three days later. they never touched the car. I know this.do not let a man named Michael at the front desk give you any sort of quote, avoid that man entirely because he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about, and over-quotes any job by about $1k or $2k,I know this because i have spoken to him in person and over the phone several times, as well as several other mechanics that work there.I took the car to another place and only spent $100, and even had it inspected, everything was fine.do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You would be much more considered at a place like Gateway or Meineke. This place is a prime example that "Christians" will play the "Jesus Card" as a sales pitch. Do not waste your time here. Horrible experience I was force to pay a balance in order to get my car. My car was sitting up at the company for 3 weeks with little to no communication with me doing all the calling to get an update only time I got a call from them was when it s pay time. The part for my car was already quoted a price of 666.52 for an alternator with my extended warranty company along with labor charge in which I have a zero dollar deductible but I got charged a different price of 1137.16 for a alternator and these types of parts don t even cost that much and it was supposed to come from Jim Keras Nissan in Memphis but from Evan he said it came from California which doesn t make any sense. Customer service was not trying to be straightforward with me kept giving me the run rounds still don t understand why 1137.16 was charged when in the system of my extended warranty the price is 666.52 tried talking to a manager but they didn t wanna get involved just basically had a nonchalant attitude and just trying to get over only because I m a woman. We really have a bad experience whit this people. We have Yukon 2015 whit misfire and they charged 6500 for the repair and now they say we have to put New engine. That cost me 11000 plus 6500 . That it's ridiculous. .now I have to pay 6500 and the truck still have the misfire. .only they waste my money.

Found myself jammed up with a coolant leak on a work trip traveling from Alabama to Arkansas. Dealership told me they could look at the work in 3-4 weeks!! LOL!! Pulled into CBA at noon Monday and they worked in a diagnostic by late afternoon. I rented a car for my trip and they completed the repair while I was away for a couple days and I picked up the car Thursday. They openly communicated and kept me updated. Very professional and accommodating. They treated me like a longtime customer while the likelihood of me visiting their location again is next to nil since I live over 200 miles away!! Don't take your vehicle here. The friendly front desk is a distraction to the show this business is. They should be ashamed but business is business I guess and I hope people will learn from my mistake. Try and charge me $430 for a battery in a Chevy equinox. And that doesn't include the diagnosis fee. Poor foresight on them, look elsewhere for any type of work I beg of you.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great customer service and a quality service team. I would reccomend them to anyone who wants to ensure their vehicle is properly repaired. Depending on the size of the job, it may take a little longer than scheduled, but it will be completed properly. In my case it was a warranty transmission repair. It took 3 weeks due to all the warranty requirements but I was more than happy at the end.My customer service agent was Mr. Austin. I couldn't have asked for a better person to cover my auto needs. He went over the process from beginning to end. Courteous and knowledgeable. When my car was finally repaired, he contacted me and explained the work completed, billing, and pick up. Easy transactions, was able to pay using a secured payment method from my phone. Whether it's an oil change or a transmission job, give this group a call.

Excellent automative care! The team and staff are thorough and always go above and beyond. Appointments are on time and fast. One time, I had a recurring issue with a tail light that needed to be addressed and was able to get immediate same-day service. I usually work with Tim.
