Really bad experience with AutoZone's upper HR management after 4 months of solid work performance reviews. Was given a direct job offer, then two weeks later the rate was suddenly changed. My manager, Jil Greene, Field VP of HR, then tried to change our agreed upon pay rate again. When I addressed this with Jil, she said that it was very unprofessional for me to be asking for what we originally agreed to because that's no longer on the table, and it will be difficult to professionally move past this discussion. She told me it was all a misunderstanding, saying, "I make mistakes. Unlike you, I'm human." When I told her I turned down another position because of our previous agreement, she told me, "You're not special. A lot of people are looking for other jobs."I was upset and asked to speak with someone in HR and she refused. She said she would have someone reach out to me, but they never did. Because it's legal in TN, I recorded all of our conversations and asked Jil if we could meet to discuss the original agreement, and she said no, "I won't listen to your recording. That's not how AutoZone does business." Jil Greene then abruptly ended our conversation, then ended my employment contract.I sent all my recordings to an HR contact and can only hope this will be followed-up on in some way. It is astounding to me how many similar stories I've been hearing about AZ's upper-management, and wanted to share my horrible experience as well.

Your sales rep at the register's wasn't eager to check me out. After getting what I wanted & walk thru the short maze to check out. Because no one was at the front register. I waited for the workers to finish their conversation with each other before they asked if I was ready to checkout.

I just called this location and received thee most HORRIFIC customer service possible! I called at 8am and spoke with an employee by the name of Darnell for a part pricing and he was able to assist me perfectly fine. I called back at 9am to confirm and place my order but I was informed by a male employee that the part is not in stock and cannot be found. I mentioned it was found earlier by Darnell and then he states he is gone for the day. I ask for an explanation and he CUTS ME OFF mid sentence and begins to OVER TALK ME! He passes the phone to a female and I mentioned to her what Darnell found and asked how it sold out so quickly and then she CUTS ME OFF AN SAYS THE SAME! Then the phone is snatched again by a louder and MORE RUDE WOMAN! She cuts me off and mentions the same of it being out of stock and I begin my explanation again of what Darnell found earlier for me. I told her to explain how he can find it but the rude male and female can not. She said the female was not RUDE SHE IS A CHILD?!!!! A CHILD?!!! So is autozone not only hiring poor customer service employees but children workers???!! That manager ebony and those employees are a POOR representation of your company and need to be repremanded IMMEDIATELY!

I like AutoZone, the guys are always very helpful. Can't say that about any of the females though, for whatever reason I get attitude from them. They look at me as if I'm bothering and annoying them if i ask them for help. I'm polite and respectful when I approach so why the tude? I'm not kidding, this happens to me at any AUTOZONE I've ever gone to. Wth?

I actually just left autozone at about 8:50 pm tonight. There customer service is great and the staff is excellent. Tonight was even better, I came at the last minute due to the fact my wife had just noticed after getting home from the store. I'm a disabled Veteran with quite a bit of health issues with my hands and wrists. So I asked the employee name "Josh" if he wouldn't mind helping me and he did with a smile. That's how customer service is supposed to be like what a great guy!!!! Thanks again

I have to do a one star today I m at the register and the girl is just on her phone and ringing me up like ma am get off the phone and check me out it s not that important u at work behind the register smh

Josh helped at AutoZone at 4130 Yale Rd. Just wanted to say thanks to Josh for the best customer service, he helped my mom get back rolling by putting a new battery in her car and answered all our questions with no problem, we even tried to give him a tip and he said we didn't have to do that. He offered service with a smile. Thanks again

The Summer store is the slowest autozone in Memphis. There was 6 people ahead of me and 25 minutes later there was 5 people ahead of me. What a waste of my time. It seems like the only person working was a Hispanic lady that was more concerned about people that needed to check out rather than the ones in line that waited for her service. I will never go to this store again.

From out of town, went in for a quart of oil and was treated very rudely by a black guy with a manager,s name tag. Called corporate and left a message; never received a call back. I took my business to O'Reilly's and received great customer service there. I refuse to be treated badly where I spend my money.

They met my Auto needs. Good customer service. I appreciate the store associate helping me carry my items to my car. Without me asking, she saw that I needed help and offered to assist.

Damian and Trina showed great service and professionalism.I brought my moms 2013 Buick. It was not keeping a charge. Trina came out (into the cold) and checked out the battery and yep, bad battery. After my mom purchased a new one, Damian came out to replace it, and it was no easy task. Both employees showed great teamwork and helped us our tremendously.

This AutoZone location is kind of lazy. Had went online and the website said my part was in stock. The female "employee?" said it wasn't in stock. After insisting, low and behold, she found the part. All's well that ends be well.

They had to correct a mistake another store made with my battery but they went above and beyond to help me get my full refund back from the other store.Super amazing staff, they will take care of you!!!

This happened a while ago. I was reminded. Management (The short one, forgot his name) at this AutoZone thought I didnt know policy when refunding an item. He stated that they dont sell that product anymore when that same product was behind him, then he acted like it wasnt under warranty which I know it was. Then he stated that I must know everything and got an attitude stating Ive been working here for years. I said how long you work doesnt matter its your skills that do. He said i dont got to return it. That maybe so, but you not returning it because i embarrassed you is wrong and unprofessional. Plus I can go to another autozone to return it. He gave me the barcode to have it refunded. I use to work at the 24 hour autozone in memphis. So I know he was lying the whole time saying he dont see it in my warranty and how they dont sell them anymore. The woman who refunded for me was helpful and nice but I dont know what was wrong with him that day, keep your problems out of work.

It's was raining an cold I can't remember the man's name but he was tall with locs he came out looked at what I had going on he went out his way I really appreciate his customer service.
