The service was great got my car I'm & out. They put a new transmission in my car. So check them out. Took my car on a Fri had it back wed. Great price on it to. Running good so far. Plus 1 yr warranty.

Best garage in the city! They explain the problem, what it takes to repair it, and the cost is are fair. Omar and All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone including my family, which I have.

SERVICE ABOVE EXPECTATIONS!They delivered much more than any mechanic would. They did a job that no one else in Memphis could do (I went to many different mechanic shops). I also couldn't wait in town because I'm on a trip to Las Vegas and the lady at the front desk did something completely beyond her responsibility to help complete the service today. They are all very friendly (which is hard to find in Memphis by the way) and they are also very honest and helpful. I definitely recommend their services.

Omar and Chris and the rest of the staff are GREAT!! They are great people that know what they are doing. I trust their work. I know my car is in good hands. They use Napa auto parts which is good quality!

At first I felt like I was choosing the right shop but it took so long(almost 2 months) for me to get my car back *due to insurance and them having mic ups... as well as they didn t fix my issues that wasn t repaired correctly on their behalf and tried to charge me $99 to look at it after I just paid them $1000 for my insurance deductible. Not satisfied wouldn t recommend. Still have to get it fixed out of my pocket.Services: General repairs & maintenance, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

Omar is fair and HONEST. Also, please be prepared to get your car back faster than you realize. They are diligent and fast. If you're straight up with them, they will always be straight with you. 2000 Silverado fuel tank replacement and tune up. 2007 Impala SS engine repair, 2010 Mazda CX7 transmission replaced in 4 hours. 013 Kia Soul brake replacement. Was recommended there for a scratched truck to be painted. They called me to pick up my vehicle with the dents and scratches basically painted over and can be seen in the light. After keeping it and going back and forth about 3 weeks, they call me and say they fired a paint guy and no longer have one. "You can pick up your truck today" i will never do business there again.

I was so burnt out with bad mechanics until a Property Management employee recommended Amerimex for service. I was very nervous at first when I first met them because of bad experiences with bad mechanics but hands down this company, to me, is the BEST mechanic shop in Memphis. I pulled up one day and he told me, I m not going to fix your car . I said why not? He said I know what the issue is I can hear it . He said I m not going to take your money about an issue I know you will be back to see me for in a few months . I was so upset that I pulled off because I was like How do you know just by listening to my SUV ? I pulled off and a few days later the issue with the SUV was EXACTLY the problem he told me was going on. Of course I went back to him and he fixed my SUV. Since then I ve learned to trust mechanics again because of Amerimex . So, go see Omar and his team at Amerimex and tell him Tammy Dodd referred you.

It took exactly 6 days for my car to get fixed because the shop has a lot of customers It s a very popular place and the employees is friendly the manager Omar is a nice guy he s very reasonable with prices the only reason I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 stars because when I dropped my car off I had left it with a half of tank of gas and when I received it back it was exactly on E I had to go to the gas station right after I was told that someone test drove my car which was fine but that person could ve put aleast 5 dollars in my tank instead of leaving it on empty but besides that the place is good for getting your car fixedService: Brakes

Look out for good deals, because it maybe the deal of your life at steak. My dad was a mechanic before he had a stroke and couldn't work on his own car, so he took his car to Amerimex auto repair shop because for some reason I don't understand he like that shop. He asked the Guy at Amerimex to install a rack and pinion and to look for what ever was making a knocking sound. Ok the repair guy told him about some miner repair issues and the good deal he was going to gave him but little did the so called mechanic know, that my dad was once a mechanic hiself.So I'm sure my dad didn't tell him so I'm sure he let go on with his song a dance about pricing and difficulty on doing certain repairs. Cut to the chase the so call mechanic while giving my father the going price so called good deal forgot or I'm assuming intentional having not telling him he had a very bad axle CV joint that was making the Drive ability of that vehicle almost impossible. My poor dad bless your soul put trust in these guys, but these guys left him with a repair that would possibly take his life or someone else's. So be careful about dealing with AMERIMEX ON SUMMER AVENUE!!

Watch out for the deal, because that deal is a slow screw process. I received a verbal estimated price from the owner to repair a class my pickup truck about 3 years ago. The owner quoted me me $300 parts and labor
